Sunnydale Nursery

Sunnydale Nursery has been in our family for 4-years now when our eldest daughter attended for the first time. From the very first settling in visit to now; four years down the line, we know we made the right choice. Our girls have had the best start in their little lives; from the wonderful staff to the amazing activities, to the family events and trips out; it’s the little details that make this place so special. Our girls consider it their home away from home. Every day a new story to tell about what fun they have had. It has been a pleasure watching them grow and flourish into the little ladies they are becoming. This place makes going to work and the mum guilt that comes with it that little bit more bearable.

My son started at Sunnydale when he was just 7-months-old. He settled straight away. I’m completely at ease knowing my son is well looked after, and it shows as he is such a happy boy. His development is amazing, and that’s all down to the team at Sunnydale. We get daily reports on what’s he’s eaten/slept/activities etc. Sunnydale is an extended part of our family... simply the best!

The facilities to help the children learn are of very high standards.

The outside space is fantastic; he loves it out there as there is so much to do.

The nursery staff are amazing and so friendly. They are always doing interesting things with the kids and taking them out. Sometimes I can’t believe the things my little one knows, and he tells me he learnt them at Sunnydale. Would recommend it to anyone. Both my children have been here, and we will be gutted when he starts school in September!

My daughter attends 3-mornings a week 7 am till 1 pm staff are always pleasant. My daughter enjoys going now; it did take a while for her to settle. Sometimes communicating through the log is a bit confusing, and some messages don't come through, and it doesn't give alot of feedback on what your child has done or is developing. Saying that, the staff will answer any questions on pick up.

Wouldn’t take them anywhere else.

A wonderful family nursery. All the staff are friendly and approachable, and my son loves going each week. The food is excellent, and the staff really care about the children. Thank you for all your hard work, especially during the most difficult of times.

He was unable to speak any more than a few words and also would not use the potty. In the short time he has been there, he is already speaking amazingly and using the toilet. I love that they take the children out for walks and other places. It really has helped my son massively!

He started in November, and we haven't looked back since. My son has blossomed since being there. All the staff are kind and caring, and I couldn't imagine my son going anywhere else.

My little girl has only been coming to the nursery for just over a month, and the difference in her already is unreal! Due to being so little, when Covid hit, she had very little confidence, but in the last few weeks, that has completely changed! She’s super excited to go in every time, and she had no problem settling in! Every member of staff have been so lovely and welcoming, and I’m very glad we chose this nursery for our little girl!

My little boy has been attending this nursery since 2021. It is the biggest nursery in the area. The staff are lovely and treat my child like their own. They had issues at one point of staff leaving, but this does seem to have settled down. My son's learning is great as far as I know. However, communication on this can be hard to get. For example, I do not know my son's next steps, and they are not available for me to see. The children have lots to play with, realistic things. Activities at Sunnydale are amazing. Children get to go on days out on a rotational basis. Food at the nursery I think is of basic choice. My child can be a fussy eater, and there doesn't seem to be another option to try if they dont eat the first option. The girls in management are fantastic and a credit to the team. They keep in touch and answer quickly any queries I have. They are such lovely women! My son will be continuing his preschool here; he's happy here. That's what matters! Sunnydale are our family!

Sunnydale have been amazing since our daughter started with them. They really do look after and bring the children on, and the setup of their facilities is brilliant for the children. Her social skills have really come on since going to them for nursery.

My son loves it at nursery. His social skills have developed, and he is now an independent and outgoing 3-year-old. He loves the preschool room leader and talks about her all the time. They help prepare them for school too, helping to embed essential life skills. 100% recommend. Will be using it for wrap-around care when he starts full-time school!

Excellent staff and facilities. So many different activities for the children to do every day to keep them entertained and learning. Children are tracked in terms of progress, and the communication from the nursery is excellent. Food choices are brilliant! My son is really coming on from attending here. It is like a family, and nothing is too much effort! We wouldn’t send our son anywhere else!

I think it’s a friendly and lovely environment for my child. The staff are always friendly. And so far, my son really likes going, and he previously struggled in settling into the nursery, but this only took him a few weeks to overcome.

We will be enrolling her sister here next month, and we would recommend Sunnydale.

Our 17-month-old daughter has been attending Sunnydale nursery daily for six months now, and she absolutely loves it! Every single member of staff is friendly, welcoming, supportive and caring. Our daughter has made so much progress in the baby room, thanks to the members of staff she works with. We love the daily diary updates, the cheeky photos on our private Facebook page and seeing the joy and progress our daughter has made over the last six months.
