I have personally found it very difficult leaving my son and have felt very guilty about putting him into nursery. Leaving him at 44 St Swithin street has been made so much easier knowing that he is being so well looked after and we are so so so impressed by the care he receives. We love the photos
that get sent through and are both delighted that he always looks like he is having such a fabulous time.


The nursery is always so inviting, the place is kept clean, and there are lots of toys and activities for the children to involve themselves in.


We can’t recommend the nursery or it’s staff highly enough.

Staff very attentive to specific needs. My son is always looking forward to activities especially baking. I can see real improvement in his behavioural capabilities. The staff have been exceptional and patient with my little boy hadn't been looked after by anyone other than mum and dad.


There are always fun activities planned for the children and I am confident to leave my little boy in nursery. The staff are always friendly and make the nursery a lovely, calm

place to be.

An excellent nursery, great staff and both my children enjoy it greatly. They always do a big range of activities and this reflects in the enthusiasm of the children.

The environment itself was very homely/welcoming which was just what our son needed as a baby/toddler. The staff were amazing and always had a cuddle free when he needed it (our son loved his cuddles).


He especially loved the baking, playing outside with his friends and dancing when he got the chance.

He has left Bright Horizons at 44 St Swithin a confident happy little boy and he has developed skills to help him in his next stage of learning at the preschool.


We would like to thank you and your team for looking after him so well over the years. I would like to express my gratitude personally for the learning journal that we received when he left. I felt very emotional to see his life at Bright Horizons at 44 St Swithin in photographs and with the little explanations next to them. It really was a personal touch. Thank you.

Excellent staff members in all three rooms. Admin staff are so organised and helpful.
My two children settled in immediately and we felt very comfortable leaving them at the nursery.

I can see my kid is really happy coming to the nursery every day. He is learning communication skills, social skills and his development are very good. I really feel we made a very good choice putting my son in the nursery. The staff members are always really helpful and nice to him, dad and myself.
They helped us a lot to get my son settled in the nursery very quick. I am happy and confident bringing my son to 44 St Swithin Nursery every day because I know he is in a good place with very nice people who really take care of him.

My husband and I are very pleased with our daughter's care at 44 St. Swithin's. We believe that her time at the nursery has provided her with plenty of opportunities to explore her interests, to engage with things outside of her interests, to have meaningful social interactions with other children and
to foster her independence skills.
We believe that our daughter has blossomed into a confident little girl in her time at 44 St. Swithin's.
Finally, the care that our daughter has received at the nursery has been very good. The ladies really care for the children and this is especially evident with our daughter as on days off, she will be asking for her key workers at the nursery! She is very happy and truly enjoys her time there.

We have been extremely happy with the time our two children spent at the nursery. The staff there are very friendly and helpful - I always felt I could discuss any concerns I had with them. They were very supportive during toilet training with our first child.
Our children got to take part in lots
of creative, and sometimes messy (!), activities which has helped them both learn and develop. The nursery really has given them both a super start in life!

We visited several nurseries in Aberdeen City before choosing this one. The vibe and atmosphere we got when being shown around by the staff was excellent. It is compact and with a balanced ratio of staff to children, and with plenty of activities. It was the obvious candidate for us.
The staff are
really friendly, and evidently, care a lot for the children they look after. Our son has developed excellently with the support of the nursery and their development programs. And most of all he absolutely loves it there and is always happy.
Our son has gone through the baby section and is now midway through the infant's department. We expect him to stay here for the full term of his pre-school.
We thoroughly appreciate the job done by the nursery management and staff, and will recommend to our friends with young children.

Our family have been in Bright Horizons at 44 St Swithin nursery for the last 8 years (with our daughter and then our son). We are extremely grateful for the hard work and enthusiasm of the nursery staff (right from the Babies into Pre-school groups), teachers, carers and management.


The kids have

been having plenty of variety of activities, have been learning a lot academically, gained social skills etc. It has been amazing to see how much kids manage to do during the day. There is a great environment, very happy and safe!


This is an absolutely great nursery and I have already recommended to the few good friends of mine (and their kids are now in the same nursery), I will keep recommending this nursery.

My wife and I were delighted when we managed to secure a place for our daughter 2 years ago. We had heard of its reputation and its proximity to the primary school which my son attends. From day one, my daughter enjoyed the experience, growing in confidence every day and developing a quick flair for
the spoken word, which was slow in our household as it is bi-lingual. Each child is nurtured individually so that they can perform at their best and work well in a group environment. They are fed good nutritional food and enjoy lots of activities both within the nursery and the outlying areas in town. Both ourselves and our daughter were sad to see her leave, but she has now started primary school along side her brother! We would heartily advise anyone looking for a nursery to make this one a priority - I believe there is no other better in this town!

Having had our eldest go through nursery here and knowing how happy he was, and how well prepared he was for school, we had no doubts where number 2 would be going.


Our youngest is very happy and has moved from Babies, to Infants and is now in Pre-school. At each step of the way, he has been met

by a warm and welcoming environment. Carers who actually care and facilities that are top notch.


The range of activities they do each day, the play equipment, the variety of learning opportunities are all fantastic.


A safe outdoor area and loads of walks close by are regularly used and loved. The menu is enjoyed, and the table manners have been greatly improved.


So in summary, it really is a great nursery, one which I cannot recommend enough - hence why both my children have attended.

Very nice and professional staff. Children have a lot of activities every day such as songs, painting, playing outdoor, etc. The nursery pays attention to education also. The rooms are very well equipped with real wood furniture and toys.

Our daughter has been going to the nursery from 13 months old, so has been to babies, infants and is now in preschool. The level of care is fantastic, our daughter settled in very quickly and has moved through the departments very easily. She always looks forward to going to nursery. The staff are excellent,
they are really good with the children, and this has been our experience across all of the departments.


The children are always doing great activities, learning new things, going on adventures to the park or exploring the surrounding area/environment. I always look forward to picking her up at the end of the day to hear what she's been doing, and how much she's enjoyed her day.


The nursery has a great way of keeping track of the children's progress/development, and I always look forward to our review meetings with her key worker.
44 St Swithin is a fantastic nursery, which was recommended to us, and is the one which we now recommend to our family and friends.

Kenzie

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2005

Kenzie has been working at 44 St Swithin since 2012 and completed her Level 4 in Children's Care Learning and Development in 2018. She is currently studying for the PDA in Childhood Practice at NESCOL.


Kenzie has always been passionate about childcare and strives to support children and families within the nursery in partnership. She endeavours to ensure children learn through fun and exciting experiences at nursery, which helps them develop and build on their knowledge and skills from the world around them.

Lucy

Lucy

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Lucy is the Deputy Manager at 44 St Swithin. She gained her HNC in Childhood Practice in 2018 and has since worked in a variety of roles within the Early Years sector, most recently as a Peripatetic Manager in the Highlands.


Lucy is currently working towards her degree and has completed the first two years of the BA in Childhood Practice. She finds it incredibly rewarding to play a role in the early years of children’s lives and loves watching them grow and flourish.
