Our daughter has been attending 44 St Swithin since July and we are extremely happy with the care offered. The staff are excellent in terms of their approach to supporting and caring for the children, which has been very reassuring for us as parents. In addition, the nursery offers those ‘extra touches’ such as family tea parties which is an excellent way to recognise the importance of family relationships.
I am very grateful to all the staff in the pre-school department and also the manager who have been there for my son during a difficult time and they are doing their best to ensure he has the right support. He has learnt so much since joining them this time last year and he loves attending! They are all very caring and understanding and go the extra mile to ensure that things are up to standard! Keep up the good work girls!
Great nursery, always willing to go the extra mile, open to learning and positive staff.
I have personally found it very difficult leaving my son and have felt very guilty about putting him into nursery. Leaving him at 44 St Swithin street has been made so much easier knowing that he is being so well looked after and we are so so so impressed by the care he receives. We love the photos that get sent through and are both delighted that he always looks like he is having such a fabulous time.
The nursery is always so inviting, the place is kept clean, and there are lots of toys and activities for the children to involve themselves in.
We can’t recommend the nursery or it’s staff highly enough.
Lovely friendly staff, overall great.
Staff very attentive to specific needs. My son is always looking forward to activities especially baking. I can see real improvement in his behavioural capabilities. Food is very good, variety and nutrition value. Very smiley positive staff, always happy to discuss issues or concerns. Overall really happy and would definitely recommend the nursery.
The staff have been exceptional and patient with my little boy hadn't been looked after by anyone other than mum and dad.
There are always fun activities planned for the children and I am confident to leave my little boy in nursery. The staff are always friendly and make the nursery a lovely, calm place to be.
Excellent care, friendly, attentive staff. My daughter loves coming.
An excellent nursery, great staff and both my children enjoy it greatly. They always do a big range of activities and this reflects in the enthusiasm of the children.
The manager is a huge aspect of the nursery as are all the staff.
The environment itself was very homely/welcoming which was just what our son needed as a baby/toddler. The staff were amazing and always had a cuddle free when he needed it (our son loved his cuddles).
He especially loved the baking, playing outside with his friends and dancing when he got the chance. He has left Bright Horizons at 44 St Swithin a confident happy little boy and he has developed skills to help him in his next stage of learning at the preschool.
We would like to thank you and your team for looking after him so well over the years. I would like to express my gratitude personally for the learning journal that we received when he left. I felt very emotional to see his life at Bright Horizons at 44 St Swithin in photographs and with the little explanations next to them. It really was a personal touch. Thank you.
My two children settled in immediately and we felt very comfortable leaving them at the nursery.
I can see my kid is really happy coming to the nursery every day. He is learning communication skills, social skills and his development are very good. I really feel we made a very good choice putting my son in the nursery. The staff members are always really helpful and nice to him, dad and myself. They helped us a lot to get my son settled in the nursery very quick. I am happy and confident bringing my son to 44 St Swithin Nursery every day because I know he is in a good place with very nice people who really take care of him.
We believe that our daughter has blossomed into a confident little girl in her time at 44 St. Swithin's.
Finally, the care that our daughter has received at the nursery has been very good. The ladies really care for the children and this is especially evident with our daughter as on days off, she will be asking for her key workers at the nursery! She is very happy and truly enjoys her time there.
Our children got to take part in lots of creative, and sometimes messy (!), activities which has helped them both learn and develop. The nursery really has given them both a super start in life!
The staff are really friendly, and evidently, care a lot for the children they look after. Our son has developed excellently with the support of the nursery and their development programs. And most of all he absolutely loves it there and is always happy.
Our son has gone through the baby section and is now midway through the infant's department. We expect him to stay here for the full term of his pre-school.
We thoroughly appreciate the job done by the nursery management and staff, and will recommend to our friends with young children.
He has settled in very well and he enjoys his days at nursery which is great!
We would recommend 44 St Swithin. Thank you.
Our family have been in Bright Horizons at 44 St Swithin nursery for the last 8 years (with our daughter and then our son). We are extremely grateful for the hard work and enthusiasm of the nursery staff (right from the Babies into Pre-school groups), teachers, carers and management.
The kids have been having plenty of variety of activities, have been learning a lot academically, gained social skills etc. It has been amazing to see how much kids manage to do during the day. There is a great environment, very happy and safe!
This is an absolutely great nursery and I have already recommended to the few good friends of mine (and their kids are now in the same nursery), I will keep recommending this nursery.
Thank you all the staff for being the part of our lives for the last 8 years!
Both our children attend this nursery and we have been very pleased with staff in both departments. The staff have a good knowledge of our children, give good feedback at the end of each session and organise a variety of activities week on week.
My wife and I were delighted when we managed to secure a place for our daughter 2 years ago. We had heard of its reputation and its proximity to the primary school which my son attends. From day one, my daughter enjoyed the experience, growing in confidence every day and developing a quick flair for the spoken word, which was slow in our household as it is bi-lingual. Each child is nurtured individually so that they can perform at their best and work well in a group environment. They are fed good nutritional food and enjoy lots of activities both within the nursery and the outlying areas in town. Both ourselves and our daughter were sad to see her leave, but she has now started primary school along side her brother! We would heartily advise anyone looking for a nursery to make this one a priority - I believe there is no other better in this town!
Having had our eldest go through nursery here and knowing how happy he was, and how well prepared he was for school, we had no doubts where number 2 would be going.
Our youngest is very happy and has moved from Babies, to Infants and is now in Pre-school. At each step of the way, he has been met by a warm and welcoming environment. Carers who actually care and facilities that are top notch.
The range of activities they do each day, the play equipment, the variety of learning opportunities are all fantastic.
A safe outdoor area and loads of walks close by are regularly used and loved. The menu is enjoyed, and the table manners have been greatly improved.
So in summary, it really is a great nursery, one which I cannot recommend enough - hence why both my children have attended.
