Very nice and professional staff. Children have a lot of activities every day such as songs, painting, playing outdoor, etc. The nursery pays attention to education also. The rooms are very well equipped with real wood furniture and toys.
Our daughter has been going to the nursery from 13 months old, so has been to babies, infants and is now in preschool. The level of care is fantastic, our daughter settled in very quickly and has moved through the departments very easily. She always looks forward to going to nursery. The staff are excellent, they are really good with the children, and this has been our experience across all of the departments.
The children are always doing great activities, learning new things, going on adventures to the park or exploring the surrounding area/environment. I always look forward to picking her up at the end of the day to hear what she's been doing, and how much she's enjoyed her day.
44 St Swithin is a fantastic nursery, which was recommended to us, and is the one which we now recommend to our family and friends.
My son has been through babies and infants departments and he is going to preschool soon. I am very happy with the care of our child. The staff are very friendly, attentive and professional, which I believe is extremely important for a great relationship between parents/children and staff. The nursery is well managed and the nursery manager has been always attentive and kind. I know that our son is safe and well looked after. For those reasons, I have been recommending the nursery to friends who are also very satisfied.
The nursery provides a myriad of activities from sensory experiences both indoors and outdoors to hand and eye co-ordination with nursery rhymes. I know when my child comes home with a change of clothes that she has had a busy day playing in the water tray, digging in the mud kitchen or getting messy with "gloop" - things that I would love to do at home but just haven't the facilities to do so! The staff are always attentive to the babies and when my child started gave particular attention to ensuring her transition was smooth and as easy as possible for her.
I have a child in both the babies and in the preschool departments. We are very happy with the care of our children, we know that they are safe and well looked after. Our son in the babies department has settled in so well and loves the staff. Our daughter in the preschool department has been through babies and infants, all of which has provided excellent care. The teaching level is very appropriate for their age and supports their development perfectly. The staff are great and the nursery is well managed, thank you all for your hard work. It is one of the more expensive nurseries and I'm not sure if we get full value for money as I have nothing to compare it to, but I have no complaints.
I would like to leave a review about the baby department - my youngest daughter just recently moved up to the infant's department, but both my children have attended the baby department in recent years and I could not be happier with the care that they received there. The staff are all so kind and helped both my children settled in so well that they soon felt like it was their second home! The staff do wonderful, fun, creative activities and play with the children, but also give them lots of attention and security, as babies/young toddlers require. My youngest child has had a seamless move from the baby department into the infant department and that is largely a credit to the staff for helping her to feel secure and confident with the change. It is wonderful to watch my children progress through the different departments in the nursery and the excellent start that they have both received in the baby department has given them social skills and confidence to set them up for life! :-)
I have always been extremely satisfied with the care that they have received. The staff in all departments are very professional and trustworthy and the nursery manager and deputy are highly organised and attentive. I feel lucky to have such an excellent care provider for my children - when I leave them at the nursery I know that they will be safe and well looked after.
Thanks for whole Infant team.
My reasons for high rating is safety and excellent care, cleanliness of facilities, tidy and bright rooms, the variety of activities, separate dark room for naps and outdoor area.
I am really happy with the excellent care provided. The staff are so friendly, caring and genuinely interested your children. There is an excellent system for providing feedback at the end of the day and the staff take the time to let you know about the interesting and fun things your little one has been doing as well as details about eating and naps. They are very good at picking up on your child's particular interests as well as encouraging them to try new things.
One of my children has severe multiple food allergies and the approach of the management and all staff has been fantastic with this. They have been able to address all the safety issues around food, possible cross contamination and reactions from the environment but in a way that also allows my child to be part of the group, get stuck in and have fun with the other children. My anxiety about leaving my child has been totally removed by their helpful and proactive approach.
My daughter started in the baby department in March and I'm extremely happy with the nursery. The staff are fantastic and made it so much easier leaving a one-year-old who had previously spent very little time away from me. My daughter seems to really enjoy going to nursery and is exposed to many different things to aid in her development. I would definitely recommend this nursery to any parents looking for a loving and nurturing environment for their little ones.
