My daughter recently graduated from the baby department at 44 St Swithin. The care she has received has been to an extremely high standard, which is evident with her happily going in with any staff members, each day. She has built good connections with the staff and the babies, is well fed and her general needs are cared for. She has done a huge variety of different activities in babies, which has seen her develop in confidence, such as singing, painting, being outdoors and language development. A huge thank you and well done to the staff. All your hard work really does pay off.
We couldn't have asked for a better nursery family. Everyone is so lovely and put our minds at ease when we drop off every morning. Our daughter has developed so much since starting nursery and continues to do so as she progresses. We look forward to spending the next few years at Bright Horizons.
An excellent service is provided at Bright Horizons. My grandson is very happy here and has come on leaps and bounds. The learning is both fun and structured.
My daughter is really happy and enjoys being at nursery. The team in the baby room is always friendly and make us feel aware of how she gets on.
The infants room is very well set up and the staff are great. I can see why my daughter loves coming here.
My child settled in very well to 44, St Swithin Street, which was thanks to the welcoming staff. They have all been very professional and I have no doubt that he is being left in the very best care when I drop him off in the morning.
My son recently moved into the infant room from babies. During his time in infants, so far, his speech and vocabulary has improved so much! He loves playing with all his friends and talks about some of them at home. He never looks back when being dropped off and sometimes doesn’t even say bye! The girls are always lovely and welcoming and have made his transition from babies to infants, seamless. We are so grateful to all the girls at 44 St Swithin Street, for all the work they do.
Our daughter has been going to 44 St Swithin’s Street for almost two years now and absolutely loves it. The babies department were very caring and looked after our daughter exactly as we wanted. Once she moved up to 2-3’s, we noticed so much progress with both her social skills and her speech. The nursery was also amazing at helping with potty training and made the process so much easier than expected. Our daughter absolutely loves all of the carers and is always full of stories about all of the exciting things they have been doing at nursery. The variety of games and experiments is amazing and all focussed on child development. The app is easy to use and is a great way to see what the children have been up to daily and also gives information on what the children have eaten, how they have slept and any other relevant information. The menus that the children have, are very well balanced and the food looks amazing! Overall, I couldn’t be happier and look forward to my son starting too!
My daughter is in the infant's room at 44 St. Swithin, having moved up from the babies room. The team in the infant's room made the transition seamless for both our daughter and us. Since being in the infant's room, we have seen our little girl flourish and the credit for that is down to the team in that room. It has been blatantly obvious that my daughter adores the team, by the amount she thinks and speaks about them. She absolutely loves going in every morning, which makes our handover very easy. The team have fun and exciting activities planned every day, that have helped tremendously with her learning and development. We have noticed such a remarkable improvement with our daughter's speech. The team were so supportive with potty training and it made the whole experience really easy, when we had been dreading it. In addition, the nursery rolled out an online app, which has been amazing, especially during the pandemic, when parents cannot go into the nursery.
I have that peace of mind handing my wee boy over to St Swithin nursery. They genuinely care and do everything they can to make my child say feel of love, care, comfort and fun. My son absolutely loves going to nursery, and it is thanks to the incredible team who care for I'm. He always had delayed speech, but the team have been very supportive of him and me. I cannot fault them.
This is our second son in the nursery and although we live far from the nursery, we wouldn't change it. The manager is always on top of her game and always caring for the kids' development. As for the staff, I cannot praise them enough. The team are amazing and caring educators. Great staff, empowered by a great manager.
My daughter has been with 44 St Swithin since she was a baby and is now in the pre-school room. Hands down the best decision we made was to place her here, the care and education she receives is amazing and she loves the staff. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend St Swithin to anyone looking for a caring and forward-thinking nursery for their wee one!
Our son started here a couple of years ago and we think the nursery is fabulous. He has attended both the infant and pre-school rooms and loved his time in each. The nursery is so well managed and run, the staff are absolutely brilliant and our little boy loves it. They always have different activities for the children to do to keep them entertained and learning, and they take them outside every day too. The nursery uses an app to keep parents up to date with naps, meals and activities. You can also see pictures of what they have been up to and use it as a means of immediate contact with the nursery. We could not be more pleased with this nursery. It came recommended to us and I have passed the recommendation on since.
Our daughter has settled so well into the nursery! The managerial staff and the baby room team have been fantastic, they always go out of their way to accommodate us and create fun and stimulating activities for the children. I feel happy knowing I’m leaving my little girl in such good hands!
Each staff member is kind and caring and knows everything there is to know about each child. At drop off and collection they always have time to tell you about your child’s day. It never feels rushed. Alongside the feedback from the staff, you can also get a glimpse into your child’s day from their app. It’s constantly updated with all the activities they have been doing. Every day they are doing new and fun games.
They have a chef on-site who cooks wonderful nutritious meals. Our child loves the food they cook.
We are so thankful that our daughter is cared for by such a wonderful team. Our experience has been entirely positive.
My daughter started at 44 St Swithin street a month ago and has settled in so quickly. The girls are just fantastic at learning about what makes her tick and distracting her when I was leaving. She is now so happy to go into nursery and seems so settled. My daughter has an egg allergy but the nursery has great procedures they follow with regard to coloured plates and sitting next to child with allergies, I feel very confident that if she has any reaction the staff are prepared to administer the medication. Nothing has been too much trouble and I would recommend this nursery to anyone.
44 St Swithin is great! My son started in the baby room in March 2021 during lockdown. He’s settled in really well and absolutely loves it, I know this because he barely gives us a second glance when we drop him off.
The daily activities look fun and educational and the meals nutritional and tasty. My husband and I both look forward to the weekly newsletter to see what our son has been up to - we enjoy seeing photos of how much fun he’s having.
The staff at 44 St Swithin are great and I know my son is in good hands every day.
We have experience of other nurseries with our older boy and we do think that 44 St Swithin is one of the best ones in Aberdeen.
Our daughter has been going to Bright Horizons at 44 St Swithin since March and we are so delighted with her progress at the nursery. All the staff are just so lovely, we never worry at all once we drop her off, we know she’s in excellent hands whilst she is there. Every day when we pick her up we get told about the fun and creative activities the babies do and how she got on with her food and sleep, you always feel like they really pay attention to each and every child. The nursery itself is very clean, it’s got lots of different play-areas and the food that the babies get is very varied and wholesome. We couldn’t be happier!
My son has only been at nursery for about a month now, starting when he was eleven months old. He recognises when we arrive at the nursery and is eager to go in. He comes home happy, contented and "babbles" to us about all the fun he has had. The weekly email updates on the activities in the baby room are a lovely way to see and understand what learning my son has had during the week when he thinks it has all been play! The information passed on at pick up time is helpful and reassuring.
