Bright Horizons Worthing Day Nursery and Preschool offers childcare and education in a caring environment for children aged six months to five years. The nursery’s setting provides children with a rich learning environment where they can develop and learn to express their individuality.

Learning through play is promoted at Bright Horizons Worthing Day Nursery and Preschool and all activities are designed in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) as set out by the Government. This enables children to develop emotionally, physically and academically. Activities are both child- and adult-led and take place indoors and outdoors, allowing for further learning opportunities.

Staff have a wealth of experience and knowledge, ranging from academic, university qualifications to life experience, all of which enables them to provide children with the best care and education possible. Each child has a Key Person who is responsible for their learning and wellbeing at the nursery, and staff receive extra training when necessary to support individual children of all needs and abilities.

Parents are very much involved in their child’s progress and they are welcome to meet regularly with their child’s Key Person to discuss their wellbeing and development.

Very pleased to enrol my son in this nursery. He shares a great bond with the staff, loves to be in the nursery. Staff members are well supportive, friendly and loving. Felt super supported in these stressful times.

Fantastic experience, my son has settled very quickly and clearly enjoys his time at nursery. Activities are great and love seeing what he is up to on tapestry. Everyone is very friendly and have made us feel at ease.

As a first-time mum, I was naturally nervous with my one-year-old daughter starting nursery and especially more so after spending several months together in lockdown during the covid crisis. I felt like not only were the nursery staff supporting my daughter to settle in, but it felt like they were holding
my hand and reassuring me as we adjusted to the new routine. I couldn’t rate this nursery any higher. All staff I have had the pleasure of meeting, are friendly, happy and genuinely care and the manager is extremely efficient. My daughter now starts and finishes the day with a smile and I can already see her absorbing so much information that is helping her development.

My one-year-old daughter settled into Greatsaurus nursery really quickly. The staff have been very caring, friendly and reassuring. They are conscious about child development. They always have exciting activities and new projects for the children to be involved in.

As soon as I walked into this nursery, I knew it was right. It felt warm, very personable and the manager was so friendly and open to questions. We were able to visit at a time that suited us. All the staff are happy, which I think is crucial. When visiting other nurseries, some staff looked bored.
The children all are so smiley when they are dropped off and picked up. The nursery is light, bright and spacious with a lovely outside area too. The food menu is varied and healthy. The staff engage the parents and keep them up to date with any fun days planned for the kids e.g. watching chick eggs hatch or fun days in the park. All in all, I couldn't be happier.

My daughter has been at Greatsaurus Nursery for 18-months. I only have positive things to say about this nursery. The manager is fantastic - very warm, approachable and knowledgable. All the staff are friendly, enthusiastic and very caring. When you spend time there you can tell how happy the children
are to be there. My daughter certainly loves it, and I have found she has learnt so much at nursery. They do so many different activities including caring for a snail as well as ducklings. I also have to mention the varied and nutritious menu they offer. I cannot imagine my daughter being anywhere else.

The only person who loves this nursery more than we do is my son (3-years-old). We have been to two nurseries and this is by far the best. The staff genuinely care about each child and their progression. My son, who is bilingual, has significantly developed his speaking just within the first two months
of him beginning here. I should also highlight this is a diverse nursery where there are children from different cultures and they are all being treated with the highest standard, with a loving heart. Practitioners are always positive, smiling and willing to help parents. Also, having a shoe-less policy feels like a home. I can confidently recommend this nursery based upon my own personal experience at other establishments and the amount of happiness the staff and the other children have brought my son. An overall sense of security knowing our child is in a loving and safe environment.

My son has complex needs, so when I was searching for a nursery it had to be one where I felt totally comfortable. As soon as I phoned and spoke to the manager I just had that good feeling. She was so lovely reassuring me. When we went to look around and they met my child I knew it was the right nursery.
3 members of staff have had intense training in how to feed my son and he has a key worker who he has a lovely relationship with. I'm going to be so sad when he leaves to go to school in September. Thank you Greatsaurus for giving my son the opportunity to go to nursery just like any other child.

We looked around many local nurseries and Greatsaurus was simply head and shoulders above everyone else. Beautiful, clean, enriching environment, wonderful staff, a sharp focus on individual support and development and a constant emphasis on fun made it the only choice for our children.

Greatsaurus is a warm and nurturing setting.
Everything is modern and clean, with fantastic facilities. All the staff are very well trained and provide lots of activities whilst also being very nurturing.
My daughter is 2 and a half years old but has been at Greatsaurus since she was 9 months old.
She loves nursery and treats it like a home from home whilst displaying great leaps in her development since being there.
We couldn't be happier with Greatsaurus.

This nursery has been a great choice for our daughter. We made the right decision. Our daughter loves to be at the nursery each day and comes home happy and is learning new useful words.
The staff are very friendly too and work with our daughter well.

After switching to this nursery, we noticed such a positive change in our child. I would attribute much of this change to the way the staff interact with the children, I've found everyone to be engaging, respectful and great listeners, which enable them to connect with the children. The facilities
are lovely, clean, bright, spacious and inviting, everything you would want from a place where your little ones will spend so much time. Communication is fantastic, with a two-way journal detailing events of the day and regular emails advising of upcoming events. Learning goals and objectives are clearly planned/mapped out according to the early years framework, which is displayed in the entrance so you can always see what the children will be doing each month and how it relates to each of the developmental areas. Needless to say, we are extremely happy we switched to this nursery, and look forward to our younger child going there too.

Such a wonderful nursery where we can feel at ease knowing our son has such a fun time and is well looked after. It's brilliant being able to watch him so entertained on the cameras and interact whilst we are not there. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, the nursery is very clean, kept up

My twin boys moved to Greatsaurus Nursery 16 months ago after being at a neighbouring nursery and I have never looked back. They now attend 3 days a week. The space and facilities are fantastic, just like the staff and standard of care. I feel confident leaving my boys there every time, knowing they
are receiving the best possible care and doing loads of fun things with their nursery friends and they come out with a huge grin on their faces every time. The nursery itself is really spacious with lots of lovely large rooms set up for different activities and they use the whole place rather than being kept in one or two rooms which was one of the key attractions for me. The garden is sensory and safe and set up brilliantly for both organised and free play. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Greatsaurus Nursery.

My daughter has been attending Greatsaurus for almost 6 months and absolutely loves it. She has formed a great bond with her key person as well all the other staff. The environment is welcoming, clean and tidy and I love the amount of space that she has to explore. I am kept up to date on her development
and I feel at ease to ask questions or challenge statements. I love that I can log into the webcam to see what she's up to during the day. The nursery puts effort into theme days which we enjoy being part of.
