Finkley Weeke Nursery and Pre-School

After recently moving to the area we discovered this nursery and as soon as we had our walk around we knew this was the place we wanted to send our son. The staff have been amazing. They are all attentive, friendly and overall caring. Finkley Weeke Nursery really engages with the children and develop them in a very individualised way through a variety of activities. Everyone here is really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment and I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.

My daughter started at Finkley Weeke after a few settling-in sessions in August 2022. I was so worried and full of mum guilt about moving her nurseries after being so settled, but due to a nursery closure, I had no choice. I am so thankful for all the staff making the transition so easy and being so friendly and loving. The set-up and activities in the nursery are so well planned and really focus on the children's development areas. My daughter also loves going on the nursery bus to the farm! I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone within the area.

Our two-year-old started at Finkley Weeke this September, and we would definitely recommend this setting. The staff are lovely and have helped him gain confidence and feel a part of the Finkley family. A big thank you to Finkley Weeke!

Our child has the best time attending Finkley Weeke Nursery, and has come on in leaps and bounds since joining in November last year. The activities on offer are varied, educational and child-led. The staff are amazing.

Our 3-year-old has been at Finkley Weeke Nursery for several months now and we are all so happy with the setting. Our son is always so excited to be going into nursery on the days he attends and runs the whole way in! They offer so many wonderful activities and trips out, no day is ever the same. The staff are always so caring and clearly passionate about the children, we always receive a detailed handover at the end of each day. Wonderful nursery and my son loves going. He often puts his ‘welly boots’ on at the weekend and asks to ‘go to Finkley Weeke Nursery please’.

My daughter started at Finkley Weeke Nursery in February as part of our move from London. We were obviously slightly nervous for her but by the end of Week 1 our fears were completely alleviated - she absolutely loved it! I find the staff are universally excellent and transmit the right values and mindset we feel are important in our daughter's development. The exposure they give the children to the real world via trips to the farm or the supermarket I feel are already shaping her into a more rounded child. I already have complete trust with the team and she genuinely skips her way there. Well done all for creating a fantastic environment for the development of the children lucky enough to go there.

My daughter has been going to Finkley Weeke Nursery since January 2022 and always comes home telling me how much she loves it there! This nursery stood out to us because of the lovely big outside space and the trips the children get to go on. We get lots of updates and photos of what the children have been doing during the day which is really nice. There are so many different activities - they even have Spanish lessons! I would thoroughly recommend!

My daughter started at this nursery at the end of February (having moved from a London nursery) and she absolutely loves it! She settled in immediately thanks to the wonderful staff for making her feel at home. She loves all the trips out (farm, woods, playground, supermarket!) and I feel these really help with giving her confidence and hands-on knowledge of the world. The staff are really incredible and they provide lots of updates (both written via the app, photos and verbal at end of the day). We could not be happier with the nursery!

My daughter loves going to this nursery. The staff are always warm, and caring and communicate with the children in an inclusive, playful way. The children always look happy when I see them in the garden and the place always has a calm feeling to it, unlike many other nurseries I have seen. Since my daughter has started Finkley Weeke Nursery, her confidence has grown and she has made some wonderful positive relationships with staff and other children. The activities they do involve all ages, and they do trips out in their minibus which I think really benefits the experience of the children and my daughter always enjoys them!

My niece absolutely loves this Nursery! She has only joined recently but Is thriving. I've noticed a development in her language skills since starting. The care and love the staff offer are outstanding. My niece is always welcomed with a warm greeting from the lovely staff. She loves going on trips to the farm and enjoys the amazing activities provided, such as making a birdhouse, painting, playing in the mud kitchen and many many more! Would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

Since my niece started here I have heard her talking nonstop about it and have enjoyed seeing her confidence grow since joining.

My niece is always happy to go to ‘school’. She is so well cared for by all the staff. She has really become so confident and her talking has improved since being there. Thank you for making her little day so happy and exciting.

Since my son started at Finkley Weeke Nursery, he settled instantly. It’s very clear the staff have the children’s best interest at heart and all attention is centred around them from arrival to leaving. The nursery is located in a great setting with lots of outdoor space.

We love the end of day handover and have found the staff very informative and great communication whenever needed. Highly recommend.

Our son loves his nursery and all his friends and grown-ups, he has been there for 7 months now, since we first moved to the area. I love that they are taken for daily excursions, sometimes twice daily depending on the weather! The attached farm is brilliant, and he loves the soft play.

We have had nothing but good things to say about Finkley Weeke Nursery. Our son joined 7 months ago and the development in his communication skills, social skills and independence has been amazing to see. The staff are very supportive, encouraging and friendly and they run a wide range of activities which our son really enjoys. All communication with parents is well managed and clear. Our son really enjoys nursery! Highly recommended!

We're so pleased to have chosen Finkley Weeke. Nursery. Right from the start the communication with parents have been superb, the staff are wonderful and the environment has been fantastic for our kids to develop and flourish. The trips to the farm, language classes, woodland trips and more have been huge in helping our children to learn and grow. We can't recommend the Finkley team and experience enough.

We love Finkley Weeke Nursery, the staff are so caring and happy and go above and beyond to make fun and engaging activities for the children. Our child is shy but has thrived at the nursery and comes home each day full of stories of what has happened.

Our son has been at Finkley Weeke Nursery for 4/5 months now and he loves it there! His communication skills have really come a long way since starting there which has always been something he's not great with. The staff are all very friendly and we have not had any bad experiences with them. The staff are great and our son often asks for them while at home. When he's not asking for them he is always asking to "go see friends" and is always excited to go in in the mornings.
