Partou Acorns in Adel Day Nursery & Pre-school

My 17 month old daughter has recently started at Acorns and so far I can’t recommend them enough. They are professional and really care for the children in their care. My daughter was crying when she was first left but within 10 minutes she had settled and was playing with her key worker. I think as time goes on she will settle really well at Acorns and we are more than happy with them.

Although my son is upset when I drop him off I know in a matter of minutes he has settled either having breakfast or playing with his friends. He is always busy doing an activity or outside playing when I go to pick him up. He is very chatty about everything he has done that day. He has so much more confidence since coming to nursery. The additional activities and celebrations that they hold are also very good.

The individual care of every child is very good. Cleanliness is good. Learning activities in preschool are beneficial.

A fantastic nursery! My 2-year-old has lots of fun every day and comes home tired (so I know he has been playing lots and has been stimulated throughout the day). The staff are great - very friendly and caring.

The nursery has been great with my child. He started attending the nursery 6 months ago and I can see that he has developed and grown well. He has learned a lot and I can see that he has great learning support from the carers in the nursery. The food served in nursery is delicious and I strongly believe my son thoroughly enjoys his meals there. The menu is also extensive and I am glad he is given the opportunity to experience the many varieties of meals.

Baby room staff are very caring and our daughter really enjoys going to nursery, she gets excited every day on arrival. Very content baby!

Very pleased with my daughter's ongoing programme since starting nursery. Her first language is Farsi and she does not have any connection with English but now started communicating in English. I feel that she is more sensible and confident since she has started nursery.

We are so happy that we chose Acorns for our son. The level of care and attention that they receive in the baby room is amazing. His keyworker has taken a real interest in his development and knows all his likes, dislikes and habits, often without me having to tell her. I feel really valued as a parent and will get a thorough rundown of his day when I pick him up. I know I can drop him off and he's going to have a fantastic day and will eat and nap really well. He eats more than at home and seems to be far less fussy, wolfing down curries, soups and all his veg!

My daughter started nursery in March 2018, aged 10 months. She settled quickly and now loves it. The ladies in the baby room are fantastic, they know each child really well and it feels like a really caring environment. If you've asked them to do something specific in your baby's routine, they do it. I trust them completely and don't worry about my baby whilst I'm at work.

The nursery has a really safe, fun feel to it. All the staff I have experienced are engaging with the children, genuinely caring and invested in their development. Our child has been at Acorns since the age of 1 and so was in the Baby room, which she loved; since progressing to the Tweenie room her development has come on leaps and bounds; speech, memory, understanding etc. I would have no hesitation in recommending the nursery and have already done so.

Acorns is a very friendly, fun and supportive nursery. My little one settled in quickly after starting in January 2018.

They provide a bright, clean, stimulating environment with healthy home cooked meals and knowledgeable staff.

The staff have taken account of my established routines and provide updates on the days activities when home time comes around. My little one loves attending nursery!

We honestly can’t recommend Acorns enough! Our daughter started there in January and at first, we were worried she wouldn’t settle in because she’s only there 1 or 2 days a week (they’ve been so flexible with the days for us!), but she settled in so well and she’s having such a brilliant time. She’s created such a great bond with her keyworker and all the staff there are so friendly and welcoming! They also get great food every day and she always eats everything!!

Excellent level of care. My child is very happy attending - which to me is the most important thing. The staff clearly know my child well, and I feel like he is thriving in their care. There are numerous opportunities that have been provided including trips to the theatre and to the cinema, themed days and even a nativity that I and my husband thoroughly enjoyed!

Very professional staff. My baby loves nursery which speaks for itself about his bonding with the staff in the baby room. Overall, very happy with the staff and manager and would happily recommend.

Acorns is a caring, friendly, welcoming nursery where children are known, loved and understood. We are very happy with the provision our son receives and he loves the time he spends there. We would, and do, recommend the nursery!

My children love Acorns. The staff are lovely, everyone throughout the building knows each other and there’s a real family feel. The children seem to have lots of fun and make great friendships. Food, learning, cleanliness, safeguarding etc all excellent.

We've always been pleased about how happy our child is at the nursery, the caring and educational environment provided and the investment that goes into providing a variety of activities for the children.

Excellent nursery, fantastic staff. My child is making excellent progress so happy to score 10/10 all round.

Things have drastically improved at this nursery since the new management took over last year. The manager and the team have made some great changes and this is clearly visible.
