Partou Acorns in Adel Day Nursery & Pre-school

The team in the baby room do a great job of caring for our daughter. She loves attending nursery and is involved in a wide range of activities that support her development. It is so reassuring to know that she is happy and well looked after. I would highly recommend this nursery to other parents

Absolutely fantastic nursery and we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nursery in the area. Our daughter has attended she she was 10 months old and we cannot fault anything. She comes home so happy and constantly talking about her peers and the staff at Acorns, even on a weekend she is asking after the staff members and her face lights up when she seems them on a Monday. She is now in Tweenies and they offer such a range of different activities - she particularly likes the singing of songs and outdoor play. The food offered on a daily basis is varied and nutritious. We cannot recommend Acorns enough.

My daughter has been attending for three months now (since she was 11 months old) and she loves it. She is always so happy to go and has formed a bond with all members of staff. The staff know my daughter really well and treat her with kindness and give her all the cuddles she could ever need. I have also noticed that she is learning new things and coming on really quickly now she's settled and getting involved in activities. The babies are outside in fresh air whenever the weather allows. I like that I am updated throughout the day via the app. I would 100% reccomend this nursery.

Absolutely fantastic nursery, cannot recommend it highly enough. Both my children have attended this setting, my son is still there currently in the pre school room and has been there since he was a baby and is thriving. The staff in each room are so caring, fun and really cater to the child's individual needs, my son has bonded with each of his key workers so well. My daughter who no longer attends the nursery is 8 years old but still talks about the staff there and how much she misses them even to this day!

We can't recommend Acorns highly enough! A fantastic team of staff and excellent nursery. We have watched our daughter grow in confidence and grow to love the wonderful team, they are a second family to her. We have enrolled our son to begin later in the year at Acorns, and we hope to have the same brilliant experience in the future.

My daughter started at acorns in January at just 5 months old, so you can understand my worries, however the staff have all gone above and beyond in making her and myself feel extremely welcome! The bonds my daughter has made, especially with her key worker, are incredible and she is truly happy and content to be left in their care. In the few months since she has started, I have clearly seen so much development in her both socially and physically, which is down to the caring and encouraging nature of the staff! Acorns have been fantastic with my children, forming lovely bonds with them and caring for them so well. The staff are creative and I am amazed at the variety of activities they come up with. They theme activities where possible to maximise learning such as celebrating different religious holidays, sport-based activities to coincide with e.g. Olympics/Euros, geography-based games particularly if a child has a tie with another country, activities based around well-known books. They give the children a varied and healthy diet and both of mine have loved the food. The Tweenies room is particularly good at getting the children outdoors as much as possible, and children from pre-school love their woodland area. There is a lovely vibe around the nursery, and it is a safe and nurturing environment for children. My children have left with lovely friends, enhanced social skills and are more than ready to progress into school life having been given a fantastic foundation by the staff at Acorns.

Our son has settled extremely well into the Tweenies room! He has developed such a strong relationship with his key worker and she has taken so much time to get to know him. He absolutely loves going in to nursery! The provision is amazing and so much of the learning is tailored specifically to children’s individual learning. Would highly recommend!

I cannot praise the staff at Acorns-in-Adel enough, my 4-year-old is nearly ready to leave for school in September and the staff have taught him so much and prepared him so well. He absolutely loves coming into nursery and this is the best feeling as a parent. My 1-year-old settled in almost instantly and has made positive bonds with all the baby room staff. Cannot thank the team enough! They are amazing.

Our baby has attended Acorns in Adel since September, he joined nursery when he was 8 months old. Originally, I was worried this may be too early but it was the best thing for him. He is coming on each week and seems like a confident baby. The staff are fantastic, they really care for our baby (and all the children). There's a great atmosphere at the nursery and they encourage the babies to learn through play. They encourage him to eat different food and it's great they do messy play. We have noticed our baby seems to try more things after returning from nursery such as crawling, standing up, walking etc, it's a good opportunity for him to learn from the older children. The information we receive at pick up shows they are attentive to our baby and the parents evening are a great opportunity for us to ask questions. Our baby's face lit up when he saw his key worker at parents evening.

Great nursery - have two kids there and they do a great job of looking after them. Caring staff and kids like going there so no arguments in the mornings. Thank you to Acorns in Adel for helping look after my children.

My daughter has been attending Acorns for 3 years now and has moved through all the 3 separate rooms from baby's up to pre-school. The staff in each room are really friendly. I have always been very happy with the care Acorns staff provide and nothing seems too much! I like the layout of the nursery and they have plenty of facilities including the separate outdoor spaces. The food menu is always very good and often my little girl will try meals she would not try at home. Me and my daughter really enjoy taking part in all holiday celebrations that Acorns put on for the children. I would highly recommend Acorns and will be sad when my daughter starts school in September, hopefully in the future if she has any siblings they can attend Acorns too.

Wonderful, caring and consistent staff. I leave my son in the morning knowing he is in the best hands possible. He was previously at another nursery but after experiencing issues with their level of care and other matters, I chose to move him to Acorns and never looked back! I really can't thank all the lovely ladies in Tweenies enough for all they do to provide such a lovely safe environment for my son.

Both of my children attend Acorns and have done since they were around 12/13 months old. They both love it and we are so happy with the care they receive. The staff really engage with the kids and know them all by name. We could not recommend them enough!
