Partou Acorns in Adel Day Nursery & Pre-school

Can't recommend acorns enough! My little girl loves it and all the staff are amazing!!!!!! She has come on so much since starting there.

Great setting and lovely staff.

Our son has been coming for 4 months and he absolutely loves nursery. The staff care for him so well. We literally don't think about him until we pick him up. He is so well looked after. He is learning all the time and making friends. We are so happy with the nursery.

His key worker is very attentive and encouraging and the staff make lots of effort to adapt activities and toys to the interest of the children, including laminated pictures with the words in French for my son who we are raising bilingual, a lovely personal touch.

Our two children attended Acorns, between July 2010 and July 2017. The standard of care and attention to the children is very high. The setting is quite small and therefore feels personal. We felt that the staff really got to know our children and our children both very much enjoyed their days at Acorns as a consequence. The management team leads the staff very well and there exists an open line of communication for parents - there are regular open evenings/afternoons and newsletters, and the end of day feedback is detailed.

Having taken our child to a few different nurseries and been disappointed, we are very happy with Acorns-in-Adel and would recommend it to anyone.

Brilliant nursery made so by the attentive and caring staff. Both of my children have been extremely happy during their times here. The nursery has a very homely feel, the new menu is fantastic. Can't recommend it highly enough.

The staff at Acorns have a fabulous relationship with the children. My little boy struggled to settle initially and the staff have gone over and above to assist with his transition. Communication is excellent and the staff have willingly spoken to me on a regular basis to inform me of his progress. My little boy now comes home enthusiastic about his day and eager to tell us all about the wonderful things he has been up to. Acorns are a brilliant nursery and that is down to the hard work, dedication and relationships of the staff with both parents and children.

The kids eat well as they enjoy the healthy, balanced and home cooked meals and their appetite for learning is also well cared for with an interesting and varied programme of activities, both inside and out in the play areas.

Acorns has seen a number of changes over the past year but I am pleased to say the current team are excellent and have built a welcoming and stimulating environment for our daughter. She loves the healthy, homemade food made in the kitchen and has great fun in the newly built woodland area. The staff are nurturing and genuinely care for the children. Very pleased with the nursery and would recommend to others.

We have been really happy with the friendly and welcoming nature of Acorns. The staff have been brilliant with our child and we feel very happy with the standard of care given. The recent improvement to facilities has been well received.

My daughter has been at Acorns-in-Adel for a few months now having moved her from another nursery. All the staff at Acorns have made what could have been a difficult time, a seamless transition. All the staff are very friendly and caring, create a warm and safe environment for the children and know the children very well which supports their development. My daughter has come on so much since starting and loves going to nursery. There is freshly prepared food for the children every day and a nice outdoor space for them to play. The inside space is also very nice. I feel communication is really good between staff and management to parents which is so important.
