My son is now in his second year of nursery and he absolutely loves it, he has developed so much while being there with things such as speech and walking. The staff are lovely and very welcoming! The manager is great too, very easy to talk to when you're not sure about something! I would definitely recommend this nursery!
Thank you for your positive feedback.
My daughter joined Banana Moon at 11 and a half months and is now 19 months. She settled really quickly and now screams with excitement as we pull into the car park! The staff are all very attentive and caring. The nursery is a very happy place and my daughter adores all the singing, reading, messy play and outdoor time which they are offered.
The hygiene standards are really high and the staff always make good decisions when she is unwell or naughty. All the staff have been great at supporting our weaning method (strict BLW) and the food is really delicious, varied and healthy! The staff have also been fantastic about matching our routine which is really helpful. My daughter sings us endless songs which I have to ask staff to teach me so I can keep up! She is so happy and her speech and other development are coming on at a rate of knots. Even the security at this nursery is second to none and I feel so lucky to leave my daughter in their care. I really can't rate this nursery highly enough.
Thank you very much for your positive feedback.
An amazing team of dedicated childcare professionals! Caring, inspiring and involving all children in their fantastic setting to ensure each child meets (and exceeds) in their early goals.
I'd have no hesitation in recommending Banana Moon Day Nursery Aberdeen Dyce having had experiences with other nurseries, these guys know how to do it right!
The staff are really great and go above and beyond on a daily basis to ensure the kids get the care and attention they need.
I would highly recommend this nursery!
Thank you very much for your positive feedback.
My son started at Banana Moon Day Nursery Aberdeen Dyce in April this year and I couldn't be happier in the nursery and the care that is provided. Although he was quite upset at drop off to begin with, I am so happy that he now goes in with no tears. I have noticed a dramatic change in his development and am so happy to see him making lots of friends. The staff are very friendly and helpful and meet all his needs. I am happy to come and find out about his day and get actual feedback which is was one of the reasons he was removed from another nursery. The nursery is a fantastic facility with such a welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door I highly recommend to anyone.
Thank you very much for your positive feedback.
My daughter has settled in so well in such a short time. The staff are very caring and my girl has bonded well with them. She looks forward to going there each time and has a great time every day she's there. The manager is amazing and made us feel most welcome when my girl started. The environment at Banana Moon is very welcoming, clean and bright. The children have lots of toys to play with and they have an engaging garden for the kids to enjoy fresh air and free play. I feel reassured my child is in safe hands at Banana Moon. I would highly recommend this nursery and will continue to keep my little girl here until she starts school!
Thank you for your positive feedback.
Banana Moon ticks all those boxes. It is well organised, exceptionally clean and full of fantastic stimulating toys and books. Staff are welcoming, friendly and passionate about their roles within the nursery.
I didn't anticipate the transition into childcare to be so difficult for my little boy but it was. However, the girls at Banana Moon have been outstanding at ensuring my little one is kept happy and entertained with a variety of age-appropriate activities. I know he is well cared for and his individual needs are being met while in the nursery's care. He hasn't been going to Banana Moon for very long but he is already developing new skills and relationships which is a truly fantastic thing for any parent to see.
Thank you, Banana Moon!
Thank you very much for your positive feedback.
My 1.5 year old daughter absolutely loves the nursery. Every morning she gets the same warm welcome and lots of smiles from the staff. They organize different activities every day, from a messy play to trips to the library. Staff is always professional and friendly, and you can see kids love being around them. The place itself is clean and tidy, with plenty of toys to keep the little ones entertained. Opening hours are perfect for parents who work full time, and the summary sheets issued at the end of each day are a nice touch - telling you exactly what kids ate, how many nappy changes they had, how long they slept etc.
Thank you very much for your lovely feedback.
Since moving my child to Banana Moon I have seen a difference in him, he loves going in everyday, they have great activities with him and they are so helpful and friendly, they make you feel part of their family.
Thank you for your lovely review, we really appreciate your feedback.
I absolutely love this nursery, my son had been in another nursery before and he was never this happy about going to nursery. The place is very clean and tidy. The girls that work there are amazing and super creative, they treat the kids like if they were their own but at the same time they teach them plenty. My son has learnt a lot since he started going to Banana Moon, he is getting better at sharing with other kids, has learnt numbers and colours in English (that is how I know it is the nursery and not me, since I only speak Spanish to him), also he has learnt about plants and role playing. His language skills in English have improved greatly (and he is only 2 years old).
I fully recommend this nursery, not only because of their excellent service but because the personnel that work there are very friendly and understanding. They listen to your opinions and always do what they can to help you and your kids.
Thank you very much for your amazing review.
The facility is absolutely 1st class, incredible attention to detail, design and layout. Large spacious room and wonderful play area with top of the line synthetic grass. I know our little lad is extremely happy there and is very well taken care of. Very safe with many security cameras and finger print locks.
Thank you very much for a great review.
Large open rooms and playing areas with a wonderful food menu all prepared fresh onsite .
Thank you so much for this wonderful review.
My daughter (2) attends Banana Moon nursery and she absolutely loves it she loves the staff this nursery is a credit to all who have made it the fabulous nursery that it is I don't leave her very often so I was a bit unsure leaving her and how she would be but even in her days off she's asking to go back. The security the staff the rooms I cannot fault I would recommend to anyone looking for a safe secure fun nursery with the best staff possible!
Thank you for the fantastic review!
My daughter started attending nursery at seven months old. I was so uneasy for going back to work as love spending time with my gorgeous little girl, but needs must. The nursery staff are so lovely and chilled and when I see her beaming with big smiles in a morning I am delighted I picked banana moon for my little girl. She's very happy and settled and the staff are amazing!! Lovely team 10 out of 10 from me highly recommended!!!
Thank you for your Lovely Feedback.
Banana Moon Aberdeen is a very welcoming nursery! In November 2015 we moved our son there from a nursery we did not feel confident with. Our feelings with Banana Moon straight from day one couldn't have been better! The staff are so friendly they make both parents and children feel welcome by taking time to talk and listen, we also feel confident that we could approach staff should there be any issues. My son has never been good at drop off but the girls are very good with him so he settles quickly. When we go to pick him up he is always having a great time, he even cried on the way home one day saying he didn't want to go! There is always a wide variety of activities going on and outdoor play is encouraged. Meals are prepared fresh and the food must be good as he seems to eat things there that he won't even try at home!
Overall we are so glad that we moved him to Banana Moon and I would he happy to recommend it to other parents.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. Your feedback is very much appreciated.
I love this nursery it has helped my little girl with autism so much she has com amazing and so has my youngest who just turned one friendly staff my children are always happy at the end of the day when they come home.
Thank you for your lovely feedback.
I know the little ones are extremely happy, crying not to go home at the end of the day. Friendly, well trained staff that understand the importance of the parent interface.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review
My son started at Banana Moon after we removed him from another nursery that both he and us were unhappy with. We were very impressed, even from our very first visit - the facilities are fresh, welcoming, well equipped, safe and professional. The staff we met with were so friendly and extremely helpful and we knew instantly this was the nursery we wanted our son to attend. The transition was very smooth and our son settled in straight away with no issues. Our daughter has since started and also settled in straight away with no issues whatsoever.
The service provided is excellent - I cannot recommend it enough! The children are involved in a wide variety of activities and although plans are made, they will listen to the children and let the children decide what they want to do - even if it means changing the plans! The food is all made fresh on site and the daily diary I take home shows that both have eaten all their meals and snacks so it must be good!
We are delighted!
Thank you so much for the wonderful review!!
My child goes to nursery on a Friday and is so excited when she arrives. All the girls are all so welcoming when we arrive. She has taken to all the girls who have so much patience with her. All the other kids you can see with your own eyes are happy to be there. I have no complaints and no worries about leaving her there as she is in safe hands.
Thank you so much for this lovely review!!

Will and his family are dedicated to raising the bar in early years provision and strive to support the staff teams, families and most importantly - the children. Will and his Wife Cindy are very supportive in helping the nursery meet the ideal of raising the attainment level and making Scotland the best place to raise children.

Hi, my name is Amanda,
I have been working in Early Years since I left school, and it is a vocation that I am incredibly passionate about and dedicated to. I was the Nursery Manager of Banana Moon Dyce from October 2015 until March 2025, during which time I worked alongside Will to establish a nurturing and supportive environment for children and families. Our goal has always been to reduce stress, provide high-quality care, and create a setting where children can thrive.
As we expanded to include Westhill, Denmore, and Aberdeen International, my role evolved, and I now serve as the Operational Director of Cygnus Enterprises, supporting the nurseries with their operational needs. In this capacity, I focus on guiding and mentoring teams, ensuring that high standards are maintained across all sites. I am proactive in sourcing and engaging teams with training opportunities to upskill our staff, ultimately benefiting the children by ensuring they receive the highest quality care and education.
Continuous professional development is at the heart of everything we do, and I take great pride in supporting our staff as they work towards qualifications, refine policies, and enhance practices within their settings.
It is truly a pleasure and an honour to work with children and families, witnessing the incredible progression and development of every child in our care.
