It's a brilliant nursery. Staff are friendly and always let you know how your little one gets on. I see massive improvements in my little one's speech and learning. Absolutely enjoys all the activities and being able to see what they have been up to and what they have had to eat is brilliant.

As a nervous first time mum coming out of the current covid situation, I was very nervous to put my child to nursery. I got lots of support from management and the staff team, he settled in very nicely, the nursery is very clean and tidy, the parent app is fantastic, and I couldn’t be more delighted

I can not thank the staff enough for what they have done for my son. Due to the current circumstances, the management has and continues to meet my son's needs. All staff are very friendly always greet you with a smile and a how are you today. I and my partner can't wait to see what our son will get

Our son has been going to Banana Moon for just over a year now. He has recently transitioned from mini-moons to full-moons. We cannot believe the difference in just a year. When he first started there were tears and tantrums every morning but now he gets excited every day and wonders in without even
saying bye most mornings. I was a little concerned about him returning after such a long period of lockdown but the staff have made me feel more at ease and he is clearly enjoying himself while there. The staff are friendly and approachable and the nursery manager is always really helpful. The staff at Banana Moon have really helped my son grow into a confident and helpful little boy. Thank you.

Amazing staff, my daughter looks forward to going to the nursery every day, she's learning a lot in the nursery as well. We also get updates on their daily activities so even though we're not there with the kids, we know what they have been up to.

I can’t thank the manager and her team enough for the hard work they have and keep doing for our little girl. She started attending nursery at 14 months when I returned to work and had really settled in and was thriving when COVID-19 meant temporarily removing her. She’s recently returned and is settling
in slowly. The manager and her team have been very encouraging and patient with her. At home, we notice all the hard work the team have invested as our little girl has thrived beyond what we could have done as working parents. She was able to count 1-10 before 22 months her speech is really good, her ability to sing is so good for her age too. The app is really good as it keeps me updated on her progress and if there are any concerns, staff are readily available to assist with a phone call. I’m very happy with our little girl’s growth and development since joking nursery and have made reference of the nursery to my work colleagues about Banana Moon Nursery (Dyce).

My son recently joined, I wasn't sure about putting him to nursery but the staff were very lovely, patient and have made the process easy, would 100% recommend. Staff are always helpful and happy to give updates when we ask (if he’s been iffy the night before etc). My son has really missed being at the nursery this week, which I think really reflects just how much he enjoys it there. He’s made friends and is learning so much every day. Just last week he started
saying small sentences - we were surprised. He gets very excited in the mornings when I tell him he’s off to play with his friends today.

My son has been attending Banana Moon nursery since August 2019 and although he took a while to settle he has really blossomed and grown into a confident, outgoing, independent little boy. We were able to do lots of settling in sessions before he started to get him used to going in which really helped
as he had never been away from me.
His social interaction is great and the staff are always very chatty and happy to fill you in on the day's events. I LOVE the nursery app so I can see exactly what he has been up to in the day and how he has eaten etc and really enjoy seeing pictures of the activities he does.
The nursery has introduced measures following the re-opening after the Covid-19 lockdown and I feel confident that my son is as safe as can be in the current times.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great communication with parents additionally via the app. Huge range of activities which keeps children happy and helps with development. My child loves the nursery, always happy to go there. Food choices really good, great selection of snacks and home favourites.

My daughter started with Banana Moon nearly 1 year ago (less time due to covid) but she absolutely loves it and has come on so much from being at nursery. She sometimes gets upset when going in but the girls ensure me she is ok and settled by sending pictures and comments onto the app!
Rooms are spacious
for children to play and explore and my daughter seems to like the food!
Could not recommend enough.

This is a fantastic Nursery. My daughter has been attending since she was a 2-year-old and her speech and confidence has grown. She has made a lot of friends and has a good relationship with the teachers. They learn something new every day and I love that they play outside in the fresh air every day
(unless of high winds) which I think is extremely important.

Banana Moon Dyce is a very welcoming place, staff are friendly and the location is convenient and easy to access/park.
My child started as a Baby Moon, and since the first day, he seemed very happy at the nursery. I'm also happy with the menu, and I love seeing what they've been up to through the

The nursery has been incredible for my child’s development over the last year! With various planned activities designed to stimulate different parts of the brain, I have seen such a massive development in my child.
Healthy meals and snacks are also planned - this results in my child trying a wide
variety of different flavours and textures he wouldn’t normally give a go at home!
You are always assured to know what your child has done with no only great staff feedback but an app in which you can also see what and how much they have eaten during the day, as well as seeing what activities they have been doing along with photos of your child participating! Couldn’t recommend Banana Moon enough!

Where do I begin? Banana Moon is second to none! Amazing day nursery which our son loves! The bond he has with the manager and the girls is amazing. The meals and snacks provided are healthy and filling with a very wide selection of yummy dishes reaching above their 5 a day which our son loves. The
garden is very well designed for the children with lots of things to explore and see. Our son has come on so far and been taught many new things thanks to the patience and care of all the staff and really enjoys his nursery.
Overall, we wouldn't put our son elsewhere and would highly recommend Banana Moon Dyce.

My daughter joined Banana Moon about 8 months ago (from 2 years Old). At the first time, we were worried a lot because she could not speak English and it was the first group experience in her life. However, she looks good to adapt very well and very happy to go nursery now. I strongly believe that was
the result from the great support by very kind and friendly staffs.
Nursery is very clean and their playground is perfect for children's outdoor activities. (It is the most favourite place for my daughter).
In addition, they give us very detailed feedback (What she ate, how she played, how many nappies and etc.) every time.


I strongly recommend and really appreciated all Banana Moon's staff for their excellent and friendly support for my kids.

Hi, my name is Amanda,


I have been working in Early Years since I left school, and it is a vocation that I am incredibly passionate about and dedicated to. I was the Nursery Manager of Banana Moon Dyce from October 2015 until March 2025, during which time I worked alongside Will to establish a nurturing and supportive environment for children and families. Our goal has always been to reduce stress, provide high-quality care, and create a setting where children can thrive.


As we expanded to include Westhill, Denmore, and Aberdeen International, my role evolved, and I now serve as the Operational Director of Cygnus Enterprises, supporting the nurseries with their operational needs. In this capacity, I focus on guiding and mentoring teams, ensuring that high standards are maintained across all sites. I am proactive in sourcing and engaging teams with training opportunities to upskill our staff, ultimately benefiting the children by ensuring they receive the highest quality care and education.


Continuous professional development is at the heart of everything we do, and I take great pride in supporting our staff as they work towards qualifications, refine policies, and enhance practices within their settings.


It is truly a pleasure and an honour to work with children and families, witnessing the incredible progression and development of every child in our care.
