Outstanding experience received from the moment I contacted Child First Nursery. The staff have been and are brilliant with my daughter and I feel happy knowing she's well taken care of while I'm at work. All the staff are extremely welcoming at every drop off and pick up and very reassuring throughout the days that my daughter attends. I love reading her updates and seeing pictures while I'm at work.
We love having your daughter attend and watching her develop and grow into a lovely little girl. Thank you for your review, it really does mean a lot to us all.
My youngest has developed hugely with his speech and motor skills since going and can't thank the staff enough.

My little boy thrives at this nursery. It was the first and only I looked at, I knew he would be okay here. The staff are so lovely and always keen to let me know how he has gotten on that day. They always have time to talk and never make you feel like an inconvenience. Super responsive via the app whenever there's a question/concern. My son has come on massively with his eating which has always been a challenge and I'm sure this is down to nursery. I couldn't rave about this place more and it's always the first place I recommend when I'm in conversations with mums looking for a nursery.

My experience with Child First Welbeck has been nothing but positive. From my older son attending their pre school to my daughter just starting in the baby room. They have been nothing but accommodating with my daughter and making me feel at ease with her going to nursery and not be with me 24/7. My son had also advanced dramatically, he is only 3 and can do simple sums and spell words and all of this has been supported by the nursery. We really love it here.

My daughter has been at this nursery since she was six months old. We have always been very happy with the care received; even when she had been quite challenging! It's a very outdoorsy nursery which was one of the reasons we chose it and she usually comes home very happy and ready for a bath! The staff are all lovely and she will be sad to leave when she starts school in September. Would highly recommend - and as she moves into her last few months, she has been given more responsibilities which she loves! Last week she said - I'm just like you Mummy, I have a job!

Amazing nursery, our son loves it here. He can be a shy boy but he gets so excited every time he arrives. The staff are amazing and aid in his development all the time. The outdoor space is amazing meaning they are outside most days. We also love that he is cooked a homemade meal every day.

An amazing nursery with amazing staff. My son has settled in so well and has come on leaps and bounds since starting in October 2024. Amazing home-cooked meals which he eats all of and such tentative care. I would recommend it to anyone!

We also like the environment and setting, it's not a sterile boring classroom environment and there are plenty of outdoor activities encouraged.
Feedback is good, updates are provided by the online app, and we've recently attended a 'parents evening' to discuss progress. Lastly, extra events are a nice touch, encouraging participation in Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's etc. as well as having events for things like Mother's Day and Father's Day breakfasts.

I am currently in the process of having my little girl go through settling-in sessions and the whole team have been incredible with her with flexibility of sessions and start dates. I thought she would be ok after her original planned 3 but sadly she needs a few more to get settled and from management being so understanding to offering the amount of extra sessions to get her settled to the room staff being absolutely amazing with her and so understanding. I know I have picked an amazing nursery that she and I will love.

The best thing about this nursery (aside from being outdoors so much!) is undoubtedly the staff. The ladies in the office go above and beyond to make things easier for busy parents, the chef cooks yummy home-cooked meals and caters brilliantly for allergies and every member of the staff in each room is friendly, helpful and a good role model to the children. I know our eldest will be very sad to leave when she goes to school in September!

I have over 20 years of experience working with children from newborns to teenagers. I began my career whilst studying at university and worked as a 1:1 with a 4-year-old boy with autism, this sparked an interest in how the mind works, especially in children. I then worked in a mother and baby unit, supporting young mums and their children and teaching them about life skills, how to care for their children, and how to look after themselves. I worked for Nottingham City council for 10 years as a senior residential social care worker with children ranging from 4 years to 19 years, with learning disabilities, autism, and mental and physical disabilities. I love weekends away with my family, very spicy food, live concerts and long walks with my dog.
My name is Courtney, I am a Team Supervisor and I work in the Nestling and Hatchlings spaces. I am a qualified level 4 Early years practitioner. I love my job helping children to develop their skills through play. I work alongside other staff in my team to provide a caring and safe environment for the children here at Child First Welbeck. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my cats.

Family time is extremely important to me, and it’s fantastic that we have just had a new addition to ours; Elijah Daniel who is extremely scrummy.
My name is Hannah. I have worked in childcare for 12 years. I started in outdoor pursuits centres and then worked in nurseries and primary schools. I work for Child First 2 days per week, usually on a Monday and Wednesday in the Roosters preschool space. I hold a level 4 qualification in childcare, including an assessor’s qualification at level 3. In my spare time, I enjoy meeting friends and family and going for long walks.
