Building Blocks Nursery - Great Barr

Both my children have gone to Building Blocks. Building Blocks, prepared my eldest for school in a fun and interactive way. My youngest child started during the pandemic, which made the transition challenging. All the staff supported him and ensured he enjoyed his days at nursery. All the staff are friendly and polite and provide a good overview via the app, of what the children do day to day.

My children have been attending Building Blocks since March 2020. They engage in a wide range of activities. The nursery invests in resources so that the children can strive in their learning. I have found the staff to be approachable when I have a concern or want to know more about my children's development. Whilst communicating with the staff I have found them to handle my query with patience and sensitivity. My children always talk about the staff and what they have learnt, this reassures me that they are happy at nursery.

My daughter came to this nursery when she was two years old, she’s been here for only a few months and has already learnt a lot. She really enjoys coming to this nursery, staff are all friendly and make you and your child feel welcome. The garden and rooms are all hygienic and just a brilliant day nursery in general. My daughter has been attending Building Blocks Nursery - Great Barr for almost two months now. I was very apprehensive about her starting nursery, especially during a pandemic. However, the staff have made this process as smooth as possible. They keep us updated daily via their family app about her day and share photos and observations of the activities our baby takes part in. The room looks very inviting and there is lots on offer for the babies to explore. We are really happy we chose Building Blocks Nursery - Great Barr and would definitely recommend the nursery to other parents.

I highly recommend this nursery. My son has been going here for 2 years now and has come out of his shell loads. The staff are very good and friendly and very welcoming. I would recommend this nursery especially with how they have handled the pandemic and made it possible for my son to still go and with Christmas they have done great I will be sending my other son here too. They are just fab.

Since my child started nursery at this site I have had no issues, my daughter settled in well with staff supporting the process thoroughly. They have ensured my child is progressing within her learning and informing me along the way. The app for regular updates is used often with good effect to inform me of the activities and milestones my child is reaching, the staff team and structure appear well managed and the team work well together it appears. Thoroughly recommend to all parents.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 2 years old and has formed an amazing bond with all of the staff. The staff are warm and welcoming every single morning, and I feel confident that my daughter will be well taken care of whenever she attends. The nursery ensures parents are kept up-to-date with all the activities, they make you feel fully involved in your child's learning journey whilst they are at nursery. I would personally recommend this nursery to family/friends.

My two sons go to Building Blocks, staff friendly and welcoming. Seen a real development in them both, learning new skills all the time, the care, activities meals etc are second to none. A real safe environment for my sons to grow and learn as individuals. Couldn't recommend highly enough, facilities first class. Very clean as well.

My son has been coming to nursery for 3 months. He enjoys coming to nursery and has formed lovely bonds with the staff in his room. He experiences a range of different activities each day in his room and is always stimulated. My son is in the baby room 2 days a week.

They've taken the time to support us both in the transition to starting nursery. Very understanding and supportive manager.

I am so happy I chose this nursery and I am very confident my son will continue to develop through this time here.

Excellent nursery with brilliant nursery staff. Going back to work after having 9 months maternity leave was a smooth transition. Nursery staff kept me updated throughout the day as requested.

We are really pleased we chose Building Blocks for our daughter. She started from 11 months old and is now in tweenies. She loves coming to nursery and spending time with her nursery friends. The staff at Building Blocks are great, with excellent communication and they all really care about each and every child. My daughter has made excellent progress with them. The facilities and toys are very good, and my daughter particularly likes playing in the garden and has enjoyed the sensory room there. Overall we are very happy with this nursery and I have already recommended this to friends and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Very happy with the service this nursery offers, my son has come on loads with his speech and confidence in playing and interacting with others. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and my son enjoys coming here.

Our son has been at Building Blocks since he was 6 months old and has really come on with all aspects due to the care and education received by all the lovely staff. He will miss all the lovely staff when he leaves and we would like to say thank you to you all.

As a family, we absolutely love the nursery and all the staff. At every stage, they have been amazing and the transition from room to room has always been smooth and a happy, exciting experience. Can't recommend the nursery or thank all the staff enough.

My son has been at Building Blocks from 7 months (now 2yrs 4 months). I am so pleased with the nursery. The staff and other children are so lovely. The communication is great. I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a nursery place.

My son has been at Building Blocks Nursery for 6months. In that time his progress and confidence has grown so much. The staff are so friendly, helpful and caring towards the children. I can not recommend it enough. The use of tapestry to record observations so parents can see what children have been doing is fantastic. Daily feedback and parents evening make us feel we fully understand our sons progress. He loves going to nursery and would go every day and that’s because of how the staff treat and care for him.

I can't recommend the nursery enough.
