Building Blocks Nursery - Great Barr

I am thrilled to share my positive experience with the nursery where my two sons have attended, and my youngest is attending now. The continuity provided by the manager, who has been there since the beginning, along with two other members of staff, creates a sense of stability and trust. Despite a four-year gap between my kids, their consistent presence and genuine smiles every day speak volumes about their commitment. The use of a detailed daily app, keeping parents informed about every aspect of their child's day, is incredibly helpful. What sets this nursery apart is its transparency – any incident is promptly shared live, allowing parents to stay in the loop. I genuinely love everyone working there and cannot recommend this nurturing environment enough.

My child enjoys coming. The team keeps us informed and is supportive of the child. The team are genuinely interested in the child's development and well-being. Both children have had a positive time at Building Blocks.

My kids have come a long way since joining the nursery and I am really happy with their development. I have the utmost confidence in all the staff and I am thankful for all the effort they put in.

Can't fault anything. All staff are amazing. My son seems settled enough to show he enjoys coming to nursery.

My son started in Building Blocks Nursery in January 2023. He has settled in well. The staff are always happy and friendly. The app they use is really beneficial, it keeps parents up to date on a daily basis.

I would definitely recommend Building Block Nursery. Our child has been attending for just over two years and has progressed so well. The staff have been great and the support has been amazing. We will continue to send our child to this nursery until she is ready to leave for school.

Building Blocks Nursery have been brilliant with our child who started in the winter of 2022. The staff are very caring and supportive.

Very satisfied with all the staff and every aspect of learning and gave they give my child.

The nursery staff are always friendly and kind. I love the updates throughout the day. Meals are varied and balanced. My son loves coming to the nursery, he has a great bond with all the staff, especially his key worker.

My daughter loves coming to Building Blocks, she is progressing well and creating lovely bonds with children and staff. We receive great support from staff and management and we are excited to start her sibling here too!

Very friendly staff and helpful. My child loves coming into the nursery and playing with her friends, always tells me about her day and what she has made and who with whom. Very good nursery.

My son has been coming to this nursery since January 2022 and he really struggled to settle for a few weeks. The ladies at this nursery made it so welcoming to him and me. They messaged me to let me know he was ok and had settled down, answered my phone calls to say he was fine. He still goes now and loves it! He has made so many lovely memories being here! I love that all his pictures go onto the app so I can see what he gets up to daily!

My little girl has attended Building Blocks Nursery - Great Barr since she was 10 months old. As she was born in lockdown she struggled to settle due to not being around people but the girls were fantastic and so caring with her and made me feel at ease when leaving her with them and I was always reassured and the girls kept me updated on how she was throughout the day, she soon settled and built fantastic relationships with all the staff, she now loves coming into nursery and talks about all the staff often and how they’re her ‘best friends’. The management team is also brilliant as they always keep us updated on everything and will always answer any questions or queries we have and are very approachable. Would highly recommend this nursery.

Building Blocks has been a massive part of our family with my eldest son attending a few years ago and now my youngest son attends and has done since he was 7 months old. The care, affection, learning opportunities and love my son receives, is outstanding. He has come on so much during his time and he really loves going to nursery. The staff keep me updated on anything my child is doing, tells me of celebrations and key events and keeps me updated on his progress and development, on a regular basis. His needs are met at all times and the staff have been brilliant quite recently, supporting him with his toilet training. My son participates in inviting activities and experiences that push him to achieve his very best at all times. I would highly recommend Building Blocks to anyone. A fantastic nursery with a lot of love to give each child.

These are just a few reasons why. I cannot thank them enough for all that they do, day to day.

My daughter has been attending nursery since January 2022 when she was only 10 months old. Ever since, we have had the most amazing journey with everything that Building Blocks is. I worked as an early years practitioner myself, so I can probably judge a setting from different perspectives, but from the first visit I thought it will be the perfect place for my little bundle of joy and I was not wrong at all. From the layout of every room, to resources, staff members, management, communications levels, Building Blocks for us is our day-to-day happy little family and perfect place for our daughter to interact, learn, play, develop while we are away from her. I highly recommend Building Blocks Nursery!

Excellent nursery. Kind, caring staff that have genuinely got to know my son and they work really hard to ensure his time at nursery is happy and fulfilled. There is a big emphasis on education and development, which I am really pleased with. The nursery always looks really clean and the communication is great as they always update the app with what's going on and what my son has been up to. They do lots of different activities (messy play/arts and crafts/music etc). I would really recommend this nursery. I am so pleased my son was able to get a place here.

My little girl loved this nursery and made some great friends. The staff are all really friendly and helpful and I always felt reassured that my little girl was in safe hands. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

Thank you, Building Blocks Nursery! My son already misses you all!

I would recommend this nursery to anyone and everyone, they really care for the children and everyone plays a part in the children's development. I will be very sad when my little one leaves.
