Building Blocks Nursery - Great Barr

All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

A superb nursery, providing excellent care, a full range of exciting activities and well-balanced meals. Our little one is thriving here and we couldn't be happier with the provision. All of the staff are lovely and fantastic with the children.

Building Bricks is such a lovely nursery. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. My 3-year-old son loves his sessions. The environment is colourful, clean and full of activities. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

A great experience with both my children. Staff are excellent and professional, always keep me updated with everything. Excellent activities, always a clean environment, they always attend to the girls' needs (special diet) as she is lactose intolerant. I'm very happy.

He is currently participating in early talk boost to help with his communication.

My son has built many good relationships with staff which has made me happy and reassured as a parent while he is in their care. I will be sad when he leaves. Very good nursery.

I cannot express how impressed I am with all the staff at Building Blocks, Kings Road. My little 2-year-old boy has huge global delays and they have done wonders for him. When we viewed the premises to make sure it was suitable for his stage of development we were able to meet with the team that would be working with him there and then. After a follow-up meeting, a plan was put into place and start date agreed. This was back in September of 2018 and since then he has made immense progress both developmentally and in his ability/confidence to be able to move about the rooms and garden. He has had 1-1 support to start with for the complete time he was there which he greatly needed.

The staff have gone above and beyond, in my opinion, to make sure my child received the SEN care he needed. The sensory room has been a particular favourite of his. He has been able to build bonds with the staff there and he is very excited when we pull up outside and he realises where we are.

My son attended building blocks from the age of 2 and has just left to go on to school. In the time he has been there he has learned so much and we are so proud of how much he has come on since starting this nursery. He was quite shy to begin with but the staff are all brilliant, they take a genuine interest in your child and do their very best to help them settle in and feel comfortable and happy. Especially the staff in the pre-school, my son made some lovely bonds and was very sad to say goodbye! I would definitely recommend this nursery!

Such an excellent nursery with very caring staff. My son has just left preschool and has made excellent progress both educationally and socially since he started in April 2017. The staff listened to any concerns I had about my son's development and worked with him to help him make amazing progress.

From exploring to beginning to write his name and being a typical boy who would rather play, this is quite an achievement and this is all down to the staff and management teams commitment, patience and basic love and care. I would highly recommend Building Blocks.

My son has attended Building Blocks for just over a year, the endless enthusiasm of the staff helps to fuel his desire to explore and learn at every opportunity. All areas of early years development are monitored and progress recorded, daily routines including bathroom and meals are also given on a daily basis. Each child's individual needs are recognised by the staff and activities are catered to help bring on their independence. My son has and will continue to thrive here.

My little boy attends this nursery and is currently in 'Tweenies'. He has really settled in and has built a lovely relationship with his key worker and the other staff in the nursery. The staff always have time to talk to me about his day and the things he likes doing at nursery. I also have regular updates through Tapestry, of where he is up to development wise. I feel the staff have really got to know my son and base his activities around his interests. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone looking.

My son started here 12 months ago, he loves it. The staff have helped my son in every way possible, from helping toilet training to speech therapy. I really would recommend the nursery to everyone. My son has come so far!

Thanks to this nursery, my little brother had been able to go to the toilet by himself, which I am very proud of. He started at this nursery a year ago, and he has come such a long way in that time. He's been talking more and has been able to use kitchen utensils better which is great.

Building Blocks is a lovely, caring and happy nursery which will only benefit the children who attend. Seeing my twin daughters excited and happy to see their key workers speaks volumes. The facilities available to the children are great and help develop their skills independently and as part of a working team. The staff are always happy to help and nothing is ever a problem for them.

I'm so happy I decided to send my girls to Building Blocks and would not hesitate to recommend the nursery to friends and family.

My daughter is happy to attend and can't wait to go and play.
