Building Blocks Nursery - Great Barr

My son has been attending this nursery for almost 2 years now and he absolutely loves it. He has such amazing connections with the staff members in his room and looks forwards to going every day. He has developed so well and has learnt so much since being there. I know he is in such a safe and loving space every day whilst I am at work and would never send him anywhere else!

All of the staff at Building Blocks Nursery are always really friendly and welcoming. The children always seem excited to go in and enjoy their day. My son loves the staff and the children and all of the activities they do. Staff are always ready to help or assist if there are any problems or concerns and will work with you and give advice. I feel very confident and comfortable that my son is well taken care of and also learning in a safe environment.

My daughter started in October 2024 and wouldn't send her anywhere else. The staff are absolutely amazing and take each child's needs as an individual rather than as a group. They have helped my daughter so much and put a plan in place as soon as we explained her needs, if you are thinking of sending your child here, do not hesitate, the nursery is outstanding.

My son has been attending Building Blocks for a year now and it has been amazing watching him flourish and learn. He really enjoys preschool and always has positive things to say about his day. The staff are phenomenal, always on hand to answer questions and listen to any concerns. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

Fantastic nursery! Couldn't ask for any better place to send my children to. My little girl used to attend from the age of 2 and absolutely loved going, all members of staff were amazing. Everyone always gives a nice warm welcome and they feel like part of the family. You get updates throughout the day on an app so you can see what your child has eaten/ how long they've napped for etc. Observations also get put on the app so you can see what your child has been up to/ is learning, which is really lovely to see along with pictures. The nursery itself is also clean and tidy. Overall 10/10 nursery, my little boy now attends and I couldn't wait for him to start! He loves it there just as much! Definitely recommend and wouldn't go elsewhere.

My child has thrived here and due to send my second very soon. I trust them fully and my daughter also feels comfortable to confide in the staff there, which is very comforting as a parent. I really can't thank the staff enough for taking very good care of my child. I'll be sad for her to leave this year. Honestly the best nursery.

Both of my children now go to Building Blocks, one in babies and one in preschool. Staff in all of the rooms are great, friendly and caring and both boys are doing well there. The nursery itself is always clean with lots for the children to do and play with. The manager is really helpful and welcoming, we have no complaints at all and have been really pleased with the nursery overall.

Building Blocks have been fantastic for my daughter and now my son. My children have always been really happy to go in and the staff always welcome them with open arms. They allow the children to develop at their own pace and they encourage them in a gentle, friendly way. The SEND provision is excellent and staff knowledge is very good. Highly recommend this nursery to parents.

I could write positive things all day long when it comes to Building Blocks! My son started a year ago in pre-school and absolutely adores every member of staff just as much as they adore him. Building Blocks feels like a family - warm, kind, welcoming and trustworthy. As every parent I was worried about leaving my son in others' care, however I feel like the staff at Building Blocks take any worries away, my son has the most wonderful days filled with fun activities, not only does he have fun but he has learnt so much thanks to Building Blocks, he comes home happy every single day telling us what he has learnt and what he has been up to with his friends. The nursery keep us up to date daily with any news, photos and what they have been eating, I love seeing photos of my son having fun! We receive a detailed handover every day to keep us updated and any queries get answered. I've had 0 problems at Building Blocks, only hundreds of beautiful memories for my son, thank you!

Absolutely amazing place! My son who has additional needs has been going here since he was 9 months old - he's now almost 4. The staff are brilliant with him and meeting his ever-changing needs! They adapt to him and he's progressed so much, thanks to them! My daughter recently started in September 2024 and they have been just as great with her too! The staff always make me feel reassured and comfortable. They are amazing, so friendly and kind and take the time to speak to me on arrival and at pick up, how my babies' days have been. I love this nursery and I'm going to be so sad when my son leaves in July this year. Keep up the hard work Building Blocks! Thank you for all you do!

My daughter has been attending here since I returned to work from maternity leave. The staff are amazing always so helpful and caring towards her. Always open to trying new things to help her feel comfortable. She absolutely loves it here and forms strong bonds with her adults. I would never send her anywhere else. I know when I'm at work she's completely safe and cared for.

When collecting my grandson the staff have always been very pleasant. My grandson loves going to nursery. I have seen how well he has come on since attending. Staff always keep parents informed during the day on what he is doing. The nursery is always kept well, clean and tidy. My grandson loves the food, meals and snacks provided. He often talks and mentions members of staff to me. Staff take a keen interest in the children including out of nursery.

If you're thinking of taking your little ones to any nursery, this is the one for you! The staff are so lovely and reliable and really helped my little man settle in and become part of their nursery family. They have helped him develop in many ways! Highly recommend Building Blocks Nursery.

Their app which provides updates is so reassuring for me, as a parent. It's nice to know exactly what she has been eating and drinking throughout the day and have little updates/pictures of her enjoying herself, taking part in different activities. I have nothing but positive things to say about Building Blocks and their dedicated staff members.

My son attended Building Blocks Nursery a few years ago and we had a fantastic experience. When I applied for my daughter's place they still remembered my son without any prompting and to me that shows how all the staff generally love to get to know the children personally. My daughter joined at 4 months old and with some ongoing health issues at the time, so I was nervous to say the least. I had nothing to worry about from day one my daughter's care has been faultless. We have regular meetings to ensure her care and development milestones are met. Now 17 months old she loves nursery. She has great relationships with staff and the other children. Building blocks use an app to update us on daily routine as well as personal progress. I love to see my daughter's progress and the staff are as proud of her as I am. A lovely, friendly, professional nursery that I would recommend without hesitation.
