A very happy father with this nursery, right next to the doctors which is brilliant because in the event that there is ever an incident.

The manager really knows her stuff. She is thorough with all information pertaining to my child. They also got my child to make a father's day card which was really touching along with a picture of him painting it!! I was very impressed with their security as they do not allow you to take your phone into the rooms to prevent breaching any data protection which I think is brilliant.

Overall, I would rate this nursery 100 out of 100! I honestly cannot fault them on anything

They even have a special bag with my child's name on with all his medication and creams etc. which is accessible to all staff in his room. Just little touches like his name key on his little cup and the baby room with different variations of sleeping areas.

It is very clean as well!

I would definitely recommend to any parent!

This nursery is simply fantastic! I am a mother for the first time and all nursery staff have been extremely diligent with my son, fully informed of his requirements and are brilliant in stimulating him. His progress has been phenomenal since he has begun settling in. The staff are friendly and tailor their care in line with the parent's wishes. The food is great - all organic, and they have managed to get our son in a rhythm of accepting and appreciating new food (introducing weening).

The safeguarding measures in place are very high and confidentiality and data protection is also exceptional.

All staff are trained professionals and all development on your child is available at any time to view.

This is by far the BEST nursery and I am so so so pleased that we have enrolled our son here.

We have no concerns and the settling in period has not only supported our son but our family.

Both of my Daughters have been at this nursery over the last 5 years with my youngest currently in pre-school. The nursery has always been a good setting, however, in the last 6 months, there has been a sizeable increase in the standard of service offered. All of the staff are friendly, welcoming and also knowledgeable. The pre-school rooms are set up so that the children can decide the activities they want to be involved in which my Daughter loves.

Even though there are a number of children in the pre-school, my Daughter is treated (as are all of the other children) as though they are the most important person in the world. The staff take a keen interest in what the children do both when at the pre-school and also in their home life. Alongside all of the excellent service we receive, security is also important at Barley Barn Sawbridgeworth. Staff ensure that they know exactly who is picking up the children and will not allow anyone into the room unless they are known.

My daughter is currently in the pre-school and she has a fantastic time there. She runs into pre-school in the mornings without even a goodbye! The staff are incredibly friendly and so interested in the children. Each child is treated as an individual and the staff work on their own specific development needs. Any queries are dealt with promptly, either by the staff in the relevant room or by the office. I highly recommend Barley Barn in Sawbridgeworth.

I was so worried to take my little one to the nursery for the first time but the staff and the people looking after my baby were wonderful! They gave daily updates which included fun activities and were really supportive when it came to my nerves! They were also extremely professional and any emails were responded to almost immediately. I can't emphasise what a friendly bunch of people they are and it makes this nursery truly special!

My daughter loves Barley Barn, as do I. The staff genuinely care about her and her development, she is thriving and I feel that she is in safe hands and her best interests are always considered. I would highly recommend Barley Barn to any parent who wants stress childcare with trusting carers at an exceptional price for the service and standards.

My son (13m) has been attending this nursery since December and I have been so pleased and impressed with the facilities and more importantly the team. Everyone (not just his key person) is very friendly and really makes the effort to get to know both my son and me. My son loves it there and has already made good friends with the other children that is something that they clearly try to foster. They have a great variety of toys and actively play and engage with the children. I feel very confident leaving my son with them, knowing that they will care for him and help him in his development. He is a very happy boy and I think in part that is down to the experiences that he is having in this nursery.

My child is so settled and happy when she is at the nursery each day and the staff are wonderful with her. You can tell they really care for her and want the best for her. The children always seem happy and content when I go to collect her each day which is really reassuring.

Rosie
I started my career in childcare with Bright Horizons back in 2003 as a Nursery Nurse, and have been fortunate enough with the company to become a Nursery Manager. I transferred over to Sawbridgeworth in December 2020, and have loved watching the children Thrive, and also the staff.

Staff development is one of my passions and I strive to get the best out of each and every staff member to ensure the children can experience the awe and wonder whilst at the nursery.

Louise Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2020
Louise

I have worked for Bright Horizons for 8 years and joined the Sawbridgeworth team a year ago after transferring from another Bright Horizons Nursery. I have a 2.5-year-old daughter who also attends the nursery and is thriving. I am passionate about my job and enjoy seeing the children grow and watching their development from babies through to graduating and being ready for school. The majority of my experience has been with Under 2s and I worked my way up from a Room Supervisor to a Deputy Manager. I look forward to seeing where my Sawbridgeworth journey will take me.
