Bright Horizons New Church Road Hove Day Nursery and Preschool provide childcare and education for children aged six months to five years of age in Hove. Open Monday to Friday, children are provided with fun, educational activities so they can learn through play every day.

Each child is considered unique and activities are individually tailored to enable them to express themselves and explore their individuality and personality, while closely following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The nursery provides care for all abilities and needs, offering staff extra training when necessary to support individual children.

Staff at Bright Horizons New Church Road Hove Day Nursery and Preschool have a range of experiences and qualifications to enable them to support the children’s best interests. Each child is assigned a Key Person who works closely with them to support their emotional and educational development during their time at the nursery. Parents are welcome to meet regularly with their child's Key Person to discuss their child's progress.

I pick up and occasionally drop off a child in the morning every few weeks. I always and without exception find the staff smiley, friendly and helpful. She looks forward to going to nursery and when I pick her up she is calm and happy. Her brother occasionally spends a day at the nursery and thoroughly
enjoys his time there.

Really happy with this nursery, having sent my son and daughter for 5 yrs. All the sites are different and have their own individual character. I love the way that they manage to create a warm family feel, whilst also offering the comfort of a very capable and trustworthy team. When I pick up my children
they’ve always had a fun and creative day. I really like the variety; arts and crafts, themed dress-up days, singing, dancing, yoga, cooking, role play, and most notably reading and writing, using the 7 stages of EYFS curriculum. Also, they have exciting day trips to the beach (permission granted), visits from professional people in the community; police, firefighters, dentists and zoo lab! I feel the Saurus family have helped my children to become more confident, educated and social people. If you’d like to really see what goes on, use their parent webcams! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the group. They’re like a big family, who really do have the children’s (and parents') best interests at heart.

My son has been with Brightsaurus for six months, he has loved every minute. He bounces into nursery in the morning and comes out exhausted and happy! The staff are kind, loving and have been brilliant. I recommend Brightsaurus to any parent.

We love BrightSaurus and are lucky to have used it for our three children. All our children have thrived and really enjoyed their time there. The manager manages the nursery brilliantly and the staff are really invested in getting to know your child. There are always lots of opportunities for parents
to get involved with activities which is great for the children.
The nursery is very clean but homely and welcoming and full of fun. There always seem to be plenty of activities taking place, whether in or outside the nursery and the garden is a real asset. We wouldn't want our children to be at nursery anywhere else.

I have had two children cared for with BrightSaurus and they have both adored their time in the nursery, making genuine connections with staff and peers and learning through play every day. I visited BrightSaurus through work before I had my son and already then, fell in love with it. It is a fantastic nursery with enthusiastic, competent and caring staff. It is extremely clean and well equipped with a large and safe outside area. You can check on your child at any time by logging into
their secure webcam.
My son has learnt and developed so much since he started attending the nursery and each time I pick him up at the end of the day, he is beaming, proudly showing off his artwork or some biscuits he helped to bake. I recommend BrightSaurus 100%.

BrightSaurus are brilliant. My 2-year-old has been there for 14 months and started when he was just over 1. They were brilliant at settling him in and keep us in the loop. He runs in and talks a lot about what he's done there and friends he has made. That, to me, means enough. His development has come
on so far and they do great educational and fun activities that we would never think of.

We have now had both of our boys go to BrightSaurus and they have both absolutely loved it. The staff are so caring and enthusiastic and we just know every day that our children have been in safe hands. It really does have a family feel to it and we always know that any concerns will be taken seriously
and they have always done their best to make sure our children are happy and supported. Couldn't recommend BrightSaurus enough!

Both my daughters attend BrightSaurus and I couldn’t recommend the nursery more highly. All the staff are incredible and are so enthusiastic about their roles. The nursery seems to run like clockwork and they incorporate all celebrations into the work that they do with the children, from a mini Wimbledon
event, a picnic for the Royal Wedding and bright colours and paintings for Pride.
My girls have learnt so much from being there!
I can’t thank the nursery enough for giving my girls such a good start through fun learning.

The staff are super at BrightSaurus, friendly and approachable. They care about my children and go above and beyond to ensure they are happy in their time with them. I began my journey in the early years sector at the age of 17, and since then, I've traversed through every role imaginable, from Nursery Assistant to Nursery Manager.


With over 8 years of experience in management, I've honed my skills and expertise to provide the best possible care for children.


Equipped with a Foundation Degree in Early Years Education and Childhood Studies, I am deeply passionate about maintaining a high standard of care throughout the setting. Creating a safe and secure environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential is at the core of my mission.


In my role as a Nursery Manager, I take great pride in supporting my colleagues on their professional journey. I believe in providing them with the necessary support, guidance, and training within the setting and through resources like Bright Horizons. Prioritizing the development of staff skills, understanding, and practice is crucial in ensuring the well-being and development of the children under our care.
