Bright Horizons New Church Road Hove Day Nursery and Preschool provide childcare and education for children aged six months to five years of age in Hove. Open Monday to Friday, children are provided with fun, educational activities so they can learn through play every day.

Each child is considered unique and activities are individually tailored to enable them to express themselves and explore their individuality and personality, while closely following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The nursery provides care for all abilities and needs, offering staff extra training when necessary to support individual children.

Staff at Bright Horizons New Church Road Hove Day Nursery and Preschool have a range of experiences and qualifications to enable them to support the children’s best interests. Each child is assigned a Key Person who works closely with them to support their emotional and educational development during their time at the nursery. Parents are welcome to meet regularly with their child's Key Person to discuss their child's progress.

We have been very informed with BrightSaurus since the first phone call to enquire about availability. The manager and her team have always made every effort to help us feel happy and secure with the care of our child. Since my child has attended he has developed so much, even coming home and singing

Incredible nursery, super helpful and supportive. Whilst this nursery is on the more pricey side it is 100% worth the money. This place has gone above and beyond in supporting my child with everything.

Our daughter has been attending since April and has really settled in well. The staff have been ever so attentive and reassuring as we worked through her transition. Given COVID she’d never been left with anyone other than myself or my husband previously and had limited socialisation opportunities but
she’s come on leaps and bounds since starting at Brightsaurus.
The updates through Tapestry with videos/photos/written updates are really helpful and the ability to check-in during the day via the video cameras helps allay any nervousness you may have as a parent about being separated from your child- particularly when you can see how much fun they’re having!
Our daughter really enjoys nursery and comes home smiling every day so we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

I am very happy with all aspects of the nursery. I especially find the staff very friendly and clearly they are very dedicated and good at what they do. They have helped my daughter to settle in really well and have provided us with really good info on how they were able to help her with this and also
how they can help her develop in the future. My daughter really loves going there and as we had to move her from her previous nursery because she didn’t like it, that has been really reassuring. She is flourishing and developing really well as Brightsaurus Nursery and this is down to the team. We could not be happier with the nursery.

We love this nursery. This is my second child to attend and he's incredibly happy here. The staff are all so friendly, the environment is nurturing and the activities are varied and fun. Communication is good and any issues which are rare are always resolved swiftly by the staff. Thank you.

BrightSaurus is a wonderful nursery; our son has loved every minute and we've seen so many developmental changes in the short time he has been there. The staff are incredible and seem to have a really special relationship with every child. The setting is always immaculate but very homely too, which
is just what we wanted. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend BrightSaurus; I just wish we hadn't moved away so we could keep our son there!

We’re very happy as a family to be part of Brightsaurus and as a parent, we feel really safe and satisfied to send our daughter to Brightsaurus. My daughters love their nursery all the staff but especially one staff member who makes them feel like their mum.
All the staffs are so kind and knowledgeable,
everyone helped me to settle my twins in the nursery and I really appreciate their help support and patience. I would Extremely recommend to every parent to send their little one to our nursery.

I would thoroughly recommend Brightsaurus. It is an excellent nursery and our little boy loves coming here. All the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and helped our son to settle straight away. The structure and fun activities have really helped our little boy to develop in his confidence

We transferred our 3.5-year-old over 6 months ago from another Saurus nursery when moving house and also out 7 month old started. We could not be happier with Brightsaurus. From the amazing staff that work so hard, to the fun activities the children do both in the pre-school and baby rooms, to the delicious
meals to the excellent handovers (verbally and via the online journal). 100% recommend.

A really excellent nursery. The management team are very proactive to fix issues and also very responsive in helping issues we find such as struggling to potty train at home. As with all workers at the nursery they are positive and always follow up. The carers of our children are equally excellent.
Our children really like them and the carers really positively push the children to develop across the whole curricula. I cannot suggest improvements, but always also recommend BrightSaurus to friends. Thank you.

Hi, I am Stacey the nursery manager.


I began my journey in the early years sector at the age of 17, and since then, I've traversed through every role imaginable, from Nursery Assistant to Nursery Manager.


With over 8 years of experience in management, I've honed my skills and expertise to provide the best possible care for children.


Equipped with a Foundation Degree in Early Years Education and Childhood Studies, I am deeply passionate about maintaining a high standard of care throughout the setting. Creating a safe and secure environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential is at the core of my mission.


In my role as a Nursery Manager, I take great pride in supporting my colleagues on their professional journey. I believe in providing them with the necessary support, guidance, and training within the setting and through resources like Bright Horizons. Prioritizing the development of staff skills, understanding, and practice is crucial in ensuring the well-being and development of the children under our care.
