Busy Bees Plymouth

The nursery building is clean, inviting and has brilliant outdoor all-weather space for children. The staff are helpful, friendly and caring.

I have been using the nursery for the last 4 years, taking both my children to the nursery since they were little, one has now left and gone to school and she still talks about her Busy Bees days and all the nice things she did while there; her nursery graduation, pretend school days and teddy bear picnics to name just a few!

The team go above and beyond and to know my children are happy while I am at work which makes my work day a whole lot more bearable!!

We are so happy with the nursery and support from the staff. Our child has settled into the nursery and thanks to the excellent provision and wonderfully caring staff, she is making fantastic progress.

My son started at this lovely nursery back in August. Our first impression was how caring the staff are. It took our son a good couple of weeks to get settled in but every morning he was greeted with such kindness and lots of cuddles which made his journey so much easier. We can't thank enough to all the lovely ladies in the toddler room, they do a wonderful job looking after all the little ones with so much love and patience.

I feel reassured that my son is in the best capable hands and I would strongly recommend this nursery to any first time mum who has that fear of leaving their child in someone else's hands.

Our son has settled well at Busy Bees over the last year. He is engaged in a wide range of learning activities which he thoroughly enjoys. The children are outdoors often and he loves exploring in the garden. There is a good emphasis on encouraging independence with self-feeding etc.

The staff at this nursery truly care about the children in their care. They know them as individuals, their likes and dislikes. They encourage lots of outdoor play which is critical for our daughter. They also set clear boundaries and instil values in the children.

We have been using Busy Bees at Plymouth for 5 years for both of our children since they were 9 months old. They absolutely love every day they have attended.

The opening hours are brilliant for our work life as parents, more importantly, the services they provide the children are perfect. Each and every member of staff that work there are very professional, approachable and friendly. We have considered the whole team an extension to our family over the years as parents and I believe our children do too.

All 3 rooms provide outstanding care (baby, toddler and pre-school) and have equally contributed to the development of our children academically and socially over the years and continue to do so with our youngest who is about to move to pre-school.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough.

From top to bottom this place is amazing. So much outdoor space to explore and not many nurseries have their own woods. You feel that you are part of a big family and no matter what room your child is in everyone knows and cares about them. Both children are so happy their and their confidence has grown. I couldn't recommend them more and I'm very hard to please!

The price includes all food which means a lot less stress in the mornings. The Christmas show and graduation shows were excellent. I highly recommend Busy Bees and the location is great if you work at the hospital.

Staff always go above and beyond for the needs of your child. They have helped my son with his speech and learning and he has come on leaps and bounds. All of the staff are very friendly and approachable.

Busy Bees at Plymouth has been the perfect setting for my son who is now flourishing at school. Their play based approach to learning enabled my son to become a very resilient learner who is curious about the world around him. He also loves the outdoors which is the best playground to learn in. My youngest son has been attending Busy Bees at Plymouth too since I went back to work. He is different from his brother yet loves Busy Bees at Plymouth just as much. Staff are amazing at tailoring activities to individual children while nurturing group activities. They are always welcoming and always have a smile on their face. I have since recommended Busy Bees at Plymouth to many friends.

My son enjoys so much going to his nursery, especially because of the amazing spacious pre-school garden and lovely and caring staff. He improved not just in his language and practical skills, but also his eating habits and social skills.

I am extremely happy with my child at pre-school. I feel it has enabled my child to become much more independent and confident too. She always seems to enjoy her time whilst there and looks forward to going there which as a parent is always a huge relief!

My daughter has attended the nursery since she was three months old, she has always been supported and cared for exceptionally well and I have always felt confident that she is happy. She is now two years old and thriving, I have no doubt that her speech and communication is as good as it is because of the staff and social aspect she gets from being in the nursery.

My son started at Busy Bees in February 2017. He was very tearful and still is on occasions, but the staff there always ensure that he is given the attention that he needs. His key worker is really lovely and my son is very fond of her and talks about her at home. All the staff are friendly and very good at their jobs. The food is fantastic and the nursery itself has great facilities and I am pleased to have got my son into this nursery. Very happy with all aspects.

We are completely satisfied with our choice knowing that our son will be nurtured, educated, active and safe.

Our two children attend Busy Bees Nursery in Plymouth. They were just 11 months old when they first started and from the first visit we did, our children felt at home. The staff are amazing and like family to us. Their skills and experience meant that our bilingual children received the support they needed to develop their language skills. We are truly happy we chose this nursery and our mind is at peace while the children are there.

All the staff are friendly and know my daughter's name whether they look after her or not. Her key worker very quickly seemed to learn my daughter's ways and learnt how to settle/distract her.

The staff are always so friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. My little girl is always coming home with things they have made and she is always learning new things. I could not imagine her going to any other nursery. Busy Bees is highly recommended.

Our son has attended Busy Bees since he was 11 months old. He will be leaving to go to school in September 2017 and during his time at the Busy Bees nursery and pre-school. He had developed into a confident, adventurous and happy little boy and we really believe this is due to his wonderful experience at Busy Bees. We have always found them to be friendly, approachable and very professional and are excited to be sending our younger son to Busy Bees in February 2017

I have been really impressed by the level of care, range of stimulating activities and extra services available with Busy Bees at Plymouth.

I was quite anxious about my child starting nursery, but the team of workers are phenomenal and so caring that I know my child is in safe hands. I have also been delighted that I could continue to breastfeed my baby during my lunch breaks and I have received nothing but support from the team with regards to this.

I feel that the team really know my child and with the daily updates in my child's diary I feel connected to my baby.

I can't recommend this nursery highly enough. I can only thank the team for their time, kindness and care.
