Busy Bees Plymouth

We could not be happier with Busy Bees. Our daughter seems to be thriving there. She gets so excited every morning when we tell her she’s going to nursery. She puts her arms out to the staff when we arrive in the morning and always comes home beaming. The staff are all fantastic, our daughter is happy there and we feel 100% trust in the nursery’s ability to care for our daughter. Highly recommend.

If you know what’s best for your child, avoid this nursery! The only positive thing about it is the big garden, otherwise, everything else is poor. I was extremely unhappy with my son’s care and very glad I moved him from here.

We are incredibly happy with our choice of nursery, as it’s clear to see how dedicated the staff are to the job. Everyone we’ve encountered has been kind, compassionate, enthusiastic and incredibly professional. Our son is coming on leaps and bounds and thoroughly enjoys his sessions at Busy Bees.

They have restored my faith in childcare.

I love the atmosphere in the nursery. There are many activities but it is not overwhelming for the children or too busy. We were invited to free settle in sessions until we were sure that my boy was settled and relaxed. There are always plenty of staff and a great menu for the children. I absolutely love the outdoor space and Forrest school! Our main reason for choosing this nursery was for its outdoor space and the lovely way the children get to choose to play outside most anytime.

I am always Happy leaving him in their excellent care.

The rooms are set up appropriately and everything is clean and tidy. The outdoor provision is excellent and is used in all weathers which my daughter loves. All the staff are friendly and welcoming and I highly recommend this nursery.

Quite simply, Busy Bees has nurtured our son better than we could have hoped for. His social skills, speech and cognitive development have all skyrocketed during his time at Busy Bees. We honestly could not have hoped for a better place to entrust with his upbringing. Thank you to all the amazing staff.

The staff are all fantastic and the location is very safe and secure. I really love how parents/families are invited to Christmas fetes/Father's Day breakfast etc really helps us to feel included and lovely to see the children feeling comfortable in this environment.

Busy Bees has been fantastic for our little girl for the last few years. She has grown in confidence and genuinely loves going to Nursery. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they go out of their way to make it a home from home environment. The facilities at Busy Bees are really good. The staff are very approachable. We would highly recommend.

Our daughter thoroughly enjoys her time at nursery, has grown hugely in confidence since starting and is clearly stimulated on a daily basis with a good mix of in and outdoor play. We feel very confident in the care being provided and would not hesitate to recommend Busy Bees in Plymouth.

My daughter has been attending Busy Bees Plymouth since she was 7 months old and I can honestly say that it has been best decision I could have made. All of the staff are friendly and caring and my daughter has developed amazingly thanks to the commitment and professionalism of the staff. She is more than happy to attend the nursery (sometimes more than spending time with me). She is well fed and is a very confident, happy little girl.

I think this nursery is fantastic. My son has recently been diagnosed with Autism (non verbal) and Global Developmental Delay, as well as having sensory needs. The nursery has supported us through the diagnosis process and now through the process of arranging for him to attend a special needs school in September.

They arranged more help from the council for us and also organised a 1-1 carer for him. They have worked tirelessly to help my son improve his development and to get the most out of his nursery experience as possible.

My son loves going to this nursery and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wants a happy, fun, safe and fulfilling environment for their child.

What a wonderful, caring and friendly nursery. Excellent staff who really "know" the children they are looking after. Lots of creative play and fun activities (indoors and out). Varied and enjoyable food. They are also supporting the local community through fundraising activities. My grandson loves nursery.

My son has medical problems and was behind in his speech and language and he is now talking more than his peers!

The nursery and the services provided are excellent. Opening times are great as this has allowed me to get to work on-time. My children are always happy and excited to attend, they have never cried upon arrival. The resources used are great. My children always bring home the work they've done, i.e. painting, drawing, colouring, etc. The staff are always welcoming and always give you feedback on your child for the day. I absolutely recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been going to Busy Bees since she turned 1 and I have complete faith in the team. I have never struggled to get her to go to nursery and she is always happy when I collect her at the end of the day.

Her keyworker in both the baby room and toddlers room have been and are amazing. They are always happy to talk to me about how my daughter is getting on and will listen to any concerns I have or ways in which I want them to do anything, for example; potty training, they took on board what we were doing at home and replicated this at nursery.
