Kiddi Caru Redhill, a GrandirUK Day Nursery

The love and care my son gets on a daily basis is just incredible. He loves coming to school in the morning and sometimes have to drag him out. The food he eats is wonderful. The activities he does at school are amazing. I could not have asked for better. The staff is just incredible with him. I genuinely feel the staff love their jobs and more importantly the children. And it definitely shows.

We have 2 children at KC Nursery and overall have had a very positive experience. The nursery went through a bit of a rocky period with staff and management changes, which was difficult for both parents and the nursery, but communication and standards have since improved. There are still a number of small things that need to be addressed, such as pricing structure and one or two members of staff who we have not been satisfied with, but on the whole we’re happy with the care and learning experiences the nursery provides. There are a range of activities - a nice mix of fun and learning, good menu, the girls adore their key carers and the hours/flexibility suits us well. We’ve noticed an increase in comms/events/engagement via the app which is positive.

My daughter loves Kiddi Caru. She is in preschool. She loves the activities and is happy to come in the mornings. The staff are lovely and make the kids feel homely. My child is just over three and learnt to write her own name at nursery. Great environment for the kids, and good communication from the staff. I would recommend Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Redhill to all parents.

Since the change in company, staffing and management it has gone downhill. The management clearly let things fail.

Asked to volunteer to keep our child off due to ratios, no updates on the portal re day to day activities. The manager left, regional stepped in now a new manager is in place. Inconsistent staffing would not have benefitted a child preparing for school, especially as most carers for school starters, had been signed off holiday. Many agency staff weren't even in uniform. Two weeks without a qualified chef, not communicated to parents and brushed under the carpet. Called to be told we needed to take our child to A&E for a tetanus as they had cut themselves on rusty staples. Called as our child had no more pants after a few accidents one day, (mainly due to not knowing who to help from) can I take more in, he can wait in the toilets until I arrived. Having explained I was at least 30 minutes away, it was surprising to find he was still waiting in the toilets on arrival!

I am happy to say that the nursery, and in particular, the carers in the room that my child is in, have improved a lot. In particular, my child's key carer (new) is absolutely brilliant with my child and giving them extra attention etc. I can see that my child is very comfortable with the key carer. The team leader of the room are brilliant too, and I think as a team, they are great with my child, and that makes me feel very comfortable.

The staff are amazing. I have felt completely comfortable and at ease from the very first day my daughter started at age one. She still loves Kiddi Caru and has an amazing relationship with the staff there. They know her so well, which shows how much time and effort they have put into understanding her. I am also really impressed with how much she is learning here - facts about the human body, the solar system and animals. Thank you so much for everything that you do!

My child is always pleased to see his nursery teachers and will happily go to them as I walk away, which assures me he is in good hands and receives great care. I would definitely recommend it.

Great nursery, lovely staff, my little one loves going in! Lots of activities, inside and outside. We’ve been supported in potty training and our child is learning independence. Always able to get in touch with the leadership team and members of staff are responsive to queries.

Our daughter started here in May 2021 having previously come from another nursery. The care is absolutely exceptional, the kids are treated with dignity at all times and individual preferences, needs and wishes are taken into account and respected. The nursery is kept clean and tidy at all times, staff are exceptionally lovely, polite and approachable. Our daughter always has fun at nursery, there is always lots going on. She was supported to make friends, interact and 'come out of her shell'. We cannot express in words well enough how happy we are with the care she receives and seeing her happy being there.

Staff have been brilliant, his key worker in particular and I've always felt they put him and his needs first. The garden and outside activities have been fab too. Just a really big thank you as he starts his journey in moving up a class.

Our daughter absolutely loves her nursery. The care givers genuinely care for her and she has developed so much since starting the nursery at 10 months old during pandemic and having so many issues. Best decision.

Our daughter absolutely loves going to Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Redhill, she spends her days having so much fun with her friends and the staff. The team of staff who look after her are lovely, they really care about her and keep her safe and happy. It is a peace of mind to know that she not only has lots of fun but she is developed and cared for so well.

My daughter has been at Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Redhill since November 2018 and we have consistently been impressed with the high standards of care. As an ex preemie, the nursery has supported us and I genuinely mean the whole family, through her early developmental delays, dealing with external agencies and the eventual diagnosis of cerebral palsy. Whenever my daughter is at the nursery, I am completely confident that not only will she receive excellent care but have great fun through play and learning. Her care plans and ISP will be followed brilliantly and every member of staff is fully capable to support this. In particular, I wanted to mention the support we had from the Special Educational Needs Coordinator and my daughter's key worker, who were instrumental in helping us with the long and complicated process of completing the Educational Health Care Plan application. Their observations and hard work in completing this were key and we could not have done it without them.

My daughter loves going to nursery at Kiddi Caru. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely to see how my daughter is developing with the help of the excellent staff. The app is perfect for keeping abreast of eating, sleeping etc, and we especially love the observations.

Our son has been at this nursery for nearly 7 months and honestly, the level of care shown by the nursery to him has completely exceeded our expectations. He absolutely loves it, he settled in instantly and seems to have a really strong bond with the staff in his class. I love that you get updates through the app on a regular basis and they keep a close eye on any changes in his development and share little details of things he’s learnt. Overall I honestly couldn’t speak more highly of this nursery we are so so happy we chose to send him there.

Our kids have both loved it. The staff are amazing and they look forward to attending each day. I’d recommend it to other parents and kids.

It feels like a second home, a really lovely place where my son has been given loads of love and attention. We have been going to this nursery full-time for the last two years and have been very happy with all the care and support provided. My son has learnt a lot and there is a lot of focus on learning and encouraging children to develop new skills and learn to be more independent which is fantastic practice before going to school. They always have a nice healthy menu, spend a lot of time in the garden and learn a lot! I am just very happy we’ve found this nursery!

Great nursery and fantastic staff. Nothing is ever too much trouble. This is not simple child care, they nurture and develop the children to a very high standard so when they leave for school they are at or above the required standard. If you get the early years right it makes the next stages much easier - and this nursery has got the balance perfect.

An amazing nursery, thank you to all the staff, three members in particular. You have made my daughter's time at nursery really enjoyable and helped her grow as a person. I can't recommend this nursey enough to anybody in the local area, looking for somewhere for their child. I am so grateful that my daughter could spend 3-years plus with you all.

My daughter is very happy and has made many friends at Kiddi Caru. She loves the variety of activities provided; from crafts, role play and reading to French, yoga, dance and sing and sign. She has attended 5 days a week since I returned to work form maternity leave, progressing through a fun filled learning journey, where she reached milestones and has learnt how to make good choices, building confidence through Ducklings, Waterlillies, Cygnets, and now Swans. Transitions from room to room are seamless, and I always feel that she is safe and secure. Potty training was completed quickly, with her friends, just after COVID19 lockdown. As a parent I feel supported and enjoy learning tips and tricks from the staff. I am grateful for the wonderful menu and diet adjustments that have been made for her eczema, as well as their acceptance to apply eczema skin creams. I feel it has been a fantastic choice to select this nursery and highly recommend the excellent team here.
