Bright Horizons Winchester Day Nursery and Preschool

My child has been attending Bright Horizons, Winchester, for about two months now and I could not be happier. The staff in the baby room, where my child is, are all utterly fantastic and clearly care about and have close bonds with each and every one of the children there. They organise fun activities each day for the babies, including soft play, messy play, stories and singing. I love the fact that each room has its own designated free-flow access to a private garden area. The nursery has an on-site chef and meals on a three-week rotation, which means that children receive a varied diet and takes some of the pressure off parents at home - my child eats far better than I do! They also cater to allergies and have strict protocols in place to ensure minimal risk of a slip-up (cups have each child's picture on them, place cards are put before each child at mealtimes with any dietary requirements, so staff are reminded). Could not recommend this place enough.

The team in the baby room have been amazing and our little girl is now being given the opportunity to spend time in the toddlers' room before her move up there in the new year. The manager and the management team have been so incredibly helpful and supportive over the last few months, as we have tried to find our new pattern with days and working patterns. I can't thank them enough.

We adore Winchester, Bright Horizons. The team are fantastic. Our daughter's key workers have always created a special bond with her, but we love that the whole team make great efforts to welcome, support and care for her. Attention to detail is amazing, learning opportunities are rich and crafted to the child's needs and passions. Resources seem varied and invite imagination. We really couldn't be happier, or recommend it more.

Amazing nursery, very attentive and I highly recommend. My granddaughter is coming along nicely since starting at Bright Horizons and I'm sure will continue to blossom and its always a bonus when she comes home with a full tummy.

The staff were amazing, friendly and really helped her settle in. They update the app to let us know what my daughter is up to. Couldn't recommend them more, 10/10.

Our daughter loves to go to Bright Horizons in Winchester. She giggles when we get through the door, which shows how happy she is to go there. They do spend a lot of time outdoors in the garden, do a lot of activities, water play, sand play, painting etc. She is well looked after and eats well at the nursery as well. She learns at the nursery, surprises us with new skills we didn’t teach her. The location is very practical as it is walking distance in town. We can tell how much the staff love the children and take care of them like their own. Appreciate it a lot.

After a challenging start for all due to Covid, the nursery has put some successful measures in place to protect but also to enhance the children's experience. We are thankful for the communication and support and our sin is enjoying his time there, The change of management has been a seamless transition and our faith and support of the nursery and its carers has never wavered. We are also thankful for the Tapestry. The "day of" pictures are great!

Our son is very happy and settled at this nursery. He does a wide variety of stimulating activities and he always has a lot of fun. He has great relationships with the staff and he is always happy to go in. He is in a great routine there and naps and eats really well. We're really happy with Bright Horizons and would definitely recommend it.

My daughter has been attending the nursery for about 18months now, and she has loved it from day one. She settled in really fast as the staff were excellent at making her at ease in her new surroundings. The nursery provides lots of interesting activities for the children which in turn has led to my daughter's language to really develop. From the moment you walk in it is clear to see it is a very clean and happy environment for the little ones. The staff are all very kind and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend the nursery.

The staff at Yellow Dot Nursery are always smiling and look very happy. Our son enjoys going there and he is very happy there also. It has been a challenging year and the staff at Yellow Dot have done an excellent job to keep the nursery going strong. Well done.

Our daughter has just finished at Yellow Dot having started in April 2017. We found the staff to be so welcoming and friendly. They helped her to settle in and be happy when changing rooms. They spend lots of time outside and do lots of fun activities. The staff have a lot of time for parents. All emails and calls are answered quickly and professionally. We have noticed that there haven't really been any family activities/evenings since the Bright Horizons take over and we really miss these (pre covid ovbiously). The children don't go out of the nursery so much anymore which is a real shame (again pre-covid post takeover). The outside space is small and the children really liked going to town.

Yellow Dot has looked after my daughter for the last four years, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. The staff have always been warm and friendly and ensured she settled in easily to each room. They have done a brilliant job of handling the tricky COVID situation this year has thrown at us!

The staff at Yellow Dot Winchester always go the extra mile for the children and families in their care. Tonights Christmas Party was no exception offering crafts, face painting, food and even Father Christmas at no additional cost. Both of my children had a fantastic time and the staff worked really hard to created lovely memories for them. I cannot praise them enough.

Yellow Dot Nursery continue to provide an amazing experience and my son, from 6 months to 1.5 years, has been a happy, stimulated, content child whilst being in their care. My son loves interacting with his key worker, with whom he has a wonderful relationship with. Their care is genuine and very high standards of child care are provided within this setting!

The support from staff at a difficult time was fantastic our child has come on in leaps in all sides of life.

Our daughter has settled in extremely well since starting in January 2019. The staff have been diligent and caring and we are very happy with our choice of nursery.

Our son has settled in so well to nursery and gives us great peace of mind whilst we are at work. We can genuinely see the passion and enthusiasm form staff especially our son's key worker who is warm, friendly and always happy to help. Our son has already shown developments which we feel are a direct influence of his time here so a very big thank you for making his days here so fun and special.
