My child was at bright horizons from 9 months til she left to start school. Highly recommend this nursery. There is a low turn over of staff - always a good indicator - and they genuinely know all the children really well. My child was happy there and well looked after

Our daughter started school this September. The BH Winchester team prepared her so well, she marched straight in to school on the first day as cool as a cucumber, and she loves it! She was with BH from the age of 6 months and has flourished because of it. Thanks all!

My Son has been at Bright Horizons Winchester for the last two years. The care he has received has been on the whole excellent. The nursery is well managed and organised, keeping us well informed re admin issues. The app is great and facilitates the sharing of information. We feel our son has been very well looked after and supported in his development. The nursery puts safety has a top priority and we are always told promptly regarding illness or bumps our son might have had. The vast majority of staff exude warmth and kindness and they put great activities on every day for the children to engage with. Whilst he is not always thrilled to be going into nursery at 8am, he always appears happy when I pick him up, typically reading a book or playing a game. Finally, the food is good, exposing the children to a range of different food types and we informed about what he has eaten and how much. Ps whilst the outdoor space appears small, it is incredibly well utilised.

Wonderful nursery and preschool - I'm so delighted we picked it for our boy. He had not been happy at previous nurseries, we had months and months of difficult drop-offs but at Bright Horizons, Winchester, he settled so quickly and trotted in happily from week one. The staff are incredible, so caring and attentive to the kids. Our boy has started school now, after 2 wonderful years with this team. He was totally ready. We're always going to remember the wonderful graduation the staff put on before the kids left, it was beautiful. He was so excited about school and ready for the next step, but sad to leave such a special place. In one teary moment, he said 'I don't want to leave somewhere where everything makes me so happy'. I'm always going to be grateful for everything these guys did for our child. With love and thanks.

Our second child has just finished at this nursery, meaning that we've been going there for a total of eight years! We're sad to leave as they have both been so happy there. I would absolutely recommend this nursery to anyone, especially because of the wonderful, caring staff. Thank you.

Both of my children are at this wonderful nursery, the eldest from 9 months and he is now in preschool. The care they have received is outstanding and the nursery staff now feel like good friends and family. Cannot recommend it enough - there is always excellent advice and support on hand too if certain issues need addressing. The app is brilliant and we love the feedback on nursery days that we receive from it. Thanks so much to the team at Bright Horizons Winchester Day Nursery and Preschool. You have made nursery feel like a home to our boys.

My son didn't speak English when he started the nursery as he is an ELS (English as a Second Language) child. But the atmosphere in the nursery was so warm and cosy that it helped him to feel relaxed and safe, so he was eager to learn the language. He told me: 'Thank you that you chose the best nursery for me'. We both are very happy with Bright Horizons and recommend it.

I feel so comfortable having my child attend Bright Horizons, I know she will be well looked after, intellectually stimulated with learning and activities, and I'm always kept up-to-date with information on the app. I can't recommend this nursery enough, it made the transition from maternity leave to working again more comfortable.

My daughter had a fantastic time at Bright Horizons Winchester Day Nursery and Preschool and often came home with fun stories to tell. One nursery practitioner in particular held her heart and she would always be so excited to return the following week. The nursery were always available for questions or queries and that really helped to feel confident to leave your child with them. They posted regular updates on the App, and this means you're kept in the loop with the goings on. This is important, especially when there is an outbreak of something such as chicken pox!

My daughter spent over 2 years at bright horizons, and within that time I didn't have one concern about her safety, eating, or environment within the nursery. The management and all other staff are amazing at providing the best care for the children, if I was to have any more children I would 100% choose this nursery again.

The nursery has an open door communication policy which enabled me to access support from the staff whenever I needed it. When my child joined the nursery, he was delayed in his communication and we did receive tremendous support from the nursery staff to assist him in settling down. By the time my child left the nursery to join Primary school, he had improved massively in his communication and other areas which he struggled in. I can't recommend the nursery enough, am very grateful for their support.

My son recently graduated from this nursery. And now I registered my 10-month-old daughter. In this nursery, space is provided for the best education to take place in a happy, safe and creative environment. The staff are experienced and caring and kind.

Everyone is always so warm and friendly. The nursery genuinely cares for your child and their needs. My daughter is both well looked after and also well stimulated with all the activities they do throughout the day. Wonderful team! Can't recommend enough.

All staff are very welcoming in the morning and really get the feel of very personal care and knowledge of my child. Outdoor experiences are as wide as indoor experiences and daily updates and pictures prove my child is very happy here.

My son has just left Bright Horizons and I can honestly say they have always gone above and beyond for my son and to support me. They have met his needs on every level by putting things into place to help him and his anxiety and attachment to familiar faces. His key workers have always been chosen in his best interests and got to know him and his routines and little ways. They have helped him grow in so many ways from self esteem, independence and more. They got to know him personally and were able to mange and support him in every way possible. Manager and the management team have been there to support me and my son in every way possible, they go above and beyond in every way they possibly can. I couldn’t thank them enough for all that they do.

My son has recently started at Bright Horizons, Winchester and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and the environment. He has settled extremely well and loves going in each morning. The staff ensure your routine is adhered to as well as offering a wide variety of meals and snacks for him to enjoy. The setting provides great space both indoors and outdoors so my son is always stimulated and exploring something new!

My daughter gives a cheer whenever I say it’s nursery day - what better reaction can you get from that! I absolutely love the staff here. You can tell from the offset they are passionate about early years and have taken great care to get to know my daughter as an individual. I was recommended this nursery through a friend and couldn’t be happier since joining over 8 months ago. My daughter is one very happy customer and I am certainly one very happy parent. Thank you to all the brilliant staff. You make this the outstanding nursery that it is.

Our daughter is very much enjoying her time at Bright Horizons, Winchester. The staff are experienced, caring and welcoming. They engage our daughter in activities and are very diligent in updating her profile on the app, to explain what they are working on. Perhaps the most notable point is there is no/limited staff turnover. This is a huge plus for our daughter, as she spends time consistently with the same people.

Daughter is in the baby room here. She has a great relationship with the staff and seems very settled, which is a testament to the team and management! The app works well and we can see regularly throughout the day what she is up to. An ongoing thank you from us!

Our kids love to go to nursery and their carers. We think carers are doing a great job, but could improve on taking care of keeping eye on the kid's clothes. We have been missing some items and they don't seem to be found, which I guess means that the item was put in another child's backpack and never returned to the nursery to give to the correct child. The nursery fees are very expensive and the fact that the fees have been raised twice in a year is shocking. I haven't had 2 pay reviews in my work despite all prices increasing.
