Bright Horizons Winchester Day Nursery and Preschool

The nursery has been very helpful. They have helped me and my family settle in with answering every question asked and the response is being very professional, our daughter is very happy and says she has made lots of friends. The environment feels clean and safe.

We have nothing but good feedback regarding bright horizons. They have helped our daughter develop into a wonderful young girl after a difficult start in life. We are always assured she is safe and happy here, and is learning as well as playing every day.

We couldn't be more delighted with the care and service we have had over the past few years from the team at Bright Horizons Winchester. They are simply the most wonderful team of friendly, hard working and truly caring people. The amount of times a team member has gone up and beyond for our son is countless. Communication is always faultless. We always feel up to date and in touch with our son's nursery experience, and love seeing the photos of all of the amazing activities he's got up to. We would highly recommend the nursery to anyone, our son loves it there.

BH Winchester is a lovely environment, where the children are cared for and stimulated in equal measure. Staff know the children well and provide extensive feedback. The pre-school room does an excellent job of getting them ready for school.

Our daughter started school this September. The BH Winchester team prepared her so well, she marched straight in to school on the first day as cool as a cucumber, and she loves it! She was with BH from the age of 6 months and has flourished because of it. Thanks all!

My Son has been at Bright Horizons Winchester for the last two years. The care he has received has been on the whole excellent. The nursery is well managed and organised, keeping us well informed re admin issues. The app is great and facilitates the sharing of information. We feel our son has been very well looked after and supported in his development. The nursery puts safety has a top priority and we are always told promptly regarding illness or bumps our son might have had. The vast majority of staff exude warmth and kindness and they put great activities on every day for the children to engage with. Whilst he is not always thrilled to be going into nursery at 8am, he always appears happy when I pick him up, typically reading a book or playing a game. Finally, the food is good, exposing the children to a range of different food types and we informed about what he has eaten and how much. Ps whilst the outdoor space appears small, it is incredibly well utilised.

Wonderful nursery and preschool - I'm so delighted we picked it for our boy. He had not been happy at previous nurseries, we had months and months of difficult drop-offs but at Bright Horizons, Winchester, he settled so quickly and trotted in happily from week one. The staff are incredible, so caring and attentive to the kids. Our boy has started school now, after 2 wonderful years with this team. He was totally ready. We're always going to remember the wonderful graduation the staff put on before the kids left, it was beautiful. He was so excited about school and ready for the next step, but sad to leave such a special place. In one teary moment, he said 'I don't want to leave somewhere where everything makes me so happy'. I'm always going to be grateful for everything these guys did for our child. With love and thanks.

Our second child has just finished at this nursery, meaning that we've been going there for a total of eight years! We're sad to leave as they have both been so happy there. I would absolutely recommend this nursery to anyone, especially because of the wonderful, caring staff. Thank you.

Both of my children are at this wonderful nursery, the eldest from 9 months and he is now in preschool. The care they have received is outstanding and the nursery staff now feel like good friends and family. Cannot recommend it enough - there is always excellent advice and support on hand too if certain issues need addressing. My son didn't speak English when he started the nursery as he is an ELS (English as a Second Language) child. But the atmosphere in the nursery was so warm and cosy that it helped him to feel relaxed and safe, so he was eager to learn the language. He told me: 'Thank you that you chose the best nursery for me'. We both are very happy with Bright Horizons and recommend it.

I can't recommend this nursery enough, it made the transition from maternity leave to working again more comfortable.

They posted regular updates on the App, and this means you're kept in the loop with the goings on. This is important, especially when there is an outbreak of something such as chicken pox!

My daughter spent over 2 years at bright horizons, and within that time I didn't have one concern about her safety, eating, or environment within the nursery. The management and all other staff are amazing at providing the best care for the children, if I was to have any more children I would 100% choose this nursery again.

Everyone is always so warm and friendly. The nursery genuinely cares for your child and their needs. My daughter is both well looked after and also well stimulated with all the activities they do throughout the day. Wonderful team! Can't recommend enough.

All staff are very welcoming in the morning and really get the feel of very personal care and knowledge of my child. Outdoor experiences are as wide as indoor experiences and daily updates and pictures prove my child is very happy here.

My son has just left Bright Horizons and I can honestly say they have always gone above and beyond for my son and to support me. They have met his needs on every level by putting things into place to help him and his anxiety and attachment to familiar faces. His key workers have always been chosen in his best interests and got to know him and his routines and little ways. They have helped him grow in so many ways from self esteem, independence and more. They got to know him personally and were able to mange and support him in every way possible. Manager and the management team have been there to support me and my son in every way possible, they go above and beyond in every way they possibly can. I couldn’t thank them enough for all that they do.

My son has recently started at Bright Horizons, Winchester and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and the environment. He has settled extremely well and loves going in each morning. The staff ensure your routine is adhered to as well as offering a wide variety of meals and snacks for him to enjoy. The setting provides great space both indoors and outdoors so my son is always stimulated and exploring something new!
