Bright Horizons Winchester Day Nursery and Preschool

My daughter gives a cheer whenever I say it’s nursery day - what better reaction can you get from that! I absolutely love the staff here. You can tell from the offset they are passionate about early years and have taken great care to get to know my daughter as an individual. I was recommended this nursery through a friend and couldn’t be happier since joining over 8 months ago. My daughter is one very happy customer and I am certainly one very happy parent. Thank you to all the brilliant staff. You make this the outstanding nursery that it is.

Our daughter is very much enjoying her time at Bright Horizons, Winchester. The staff are experienced, caring and welcoming. They engage our daughter in activities and are very diligent in updating her profile on the app, to explain what they are working on. Perhaps the most notable point is there is no/limited staff turnover. This is a huge plus for our daughter, as she spends time consistently with the same people.

Daughter is in the baby room here. She has a great relationship with the staff and seems very settled, which is a testament to the team and management! The app works well and we can see regularly throughout the day what she is up to. An ongoing thank you from us!

The nursery fees are very expensive and the fact that the fees have been raised twice in a year is shocking. I haven't had 2 pay reviews in my work despite all prices increasing.

Our children have a really good time together with learning new skills like how to eat in their own. All staff is really good and friendly. We are attending for almost two years now since they were 7 months.

Staff have always been amazing with my son. He comes out with a smile on his face and lots of things to tell me that he has done. Had a parent's evening last night and was lovely to hear comments about how he is doing, making goals with me to make sure he is getting the best out of Bright Horizons.

Every single member of staff from all rooms of the nursery are friendly and helpful. My child loves being at nursery and has come a long way since attending. I feel confident she's in the best hands when I'm at work.

Since my first look around I've been really impressed with the setting and the team within it. Communication about my child has been regular and detailed giving me plenty of opportunity to understand how he is getting on developmentally. The team are professional, friendly and supportive.

We have nothing but praise for Bright Horizons, Winchester and its wonderful staff. It is clear that the staff care deeply for the children in their care and are invested in helping encourage loving, curious and resilient individuals to learn and grow. We especially enjoy the cooking activities from their in-house chef and the focus on outdoor play.

He has thrived in the past year and made some lovely friends too. The staff go over and above to make sure they have a range of indoor and outdoor activities (come rain or shine!).

My son has attended the nursery since September 2022 this year, overall our experience has been great. All staff members have been welcoming and reassuring. Im satisfied my son is being cared for appropriately and his care is person-centred.

The nursery manager and all the staff are so friendly and have really helped my daughter settle into nursery. Nothing is too much trouble and they always make us feel so welcome. They have great activities set up every day and provide experiences for the children to learn skills and independence. My daughter often comes home singing or doing something new. They are offered great, freshly cooked meals and snacks, which my daughter always enjoys!

Really lovely nursery, our daughter has settled extremely well and is excited to be dropped off each morning. She enjoys telling us all about what she has been up to during the day when we collect her.

Bright Horizons, Winchester, since visiting last year, got our heart, we loved it straightway, environment, space and staff. Very welcoming, caring and friendly, always thinking of our children. My baby daughter started with visits in September and then twice a week over October and November, but unfortunately due to higher prices need to decrease to once a week; we will carry making the effort to have our girl there. From the third in charge to three other staff members in particular and other staff, they are all lovely, we trust them without any concerns.

When the team received their outstanding Ofsted rating, we weren't at all surprised. This is a great nursery. Our son attended for nearly four years before starting school and our daughter has now been attending for nearly two years. We couldn't be happier with the standard of care, warmth and commitment, shown by the team.

My son has been here three months and is settling very well. Staff all know him well and are very engaged and aware of his individual needs.

My daughters have been at Winchesters Bright Horizons since 2016. We love the staff's attention to detail, creativity, warmth and care. We love the on-site cooking and outdoor play. Our girls have been so happy here. Highly recommended.

All the staff are incredibly kind, caring, and lovely with our little boy. We are so happy with the time he has been able to spend with all of them and he will miss them when he goes off to school. It has been a great place for him to learn, grow and make new friends.

The location is great for us and the facilities are ideal, with an outdoor space just for babies outside their room, with a mud kitchen, then inside a little gym, soft play and everything you'd want for your little one to explore, discover and play. My daughter who is now 5 years old, also attended the nursery and absolutely loved it. There is also a lovely garden/play area where they can play and grow flowers etc. The staff are absolutely awesome, keeping us informed about our son's development and interests, adapting to his patterns. You can tell they love what they do and the children can feel it. Highly recommend, 10/10!
