Our children settled in so quickly. This is only due to the the staff who supported them (and us!) every step of the way. It’s well organised, safe and has lots of well structured activities to support our children's development. The selection of food is nutritional and tasty too.
The environment recently
had a refurbishment which freshened up all of the rooms and communal areas which had really made everything bright.
They use the Parent Zone App which is so good at keeping in touch throughout the day including nappy changes, mealtimes, developmental reviews and even financing/ invoicing!

Having to trust others with my child in all forms, Busy Bees at Lewisham made this transition so easy. The training and experience of staff is exceptional. The care my child receives is unbelievable, they are fantastic, I am not worried at all she's in very capable hands. The one on one interaction
with her is great. I see the excitement on my child's face when it's time for nursery, even asks at the weekend! I can see the development of her and the progress she has made in the year she's been there. Honestly, I could not do this without them, the support they give to my child and my family is truly amazing and I could not have picked a better family to put my child in.

Busy Bees is a fantastic nursery that has really helped my son to develop. He loves going there and seeing his favourite carers and friends, and it makes it so much easier (and less stressful) for us knowing how much he loves it. It really is stressful finding somewhere to leave your child but my son
settled in so quickly due to the fantastic carers there. Would highly recommend this nursery to anyone in the area!

Busy Bee Lewisham has encouraged my son to grow and develop in skills that I never knew he had. He is doing very well for a 3-year-old. My son has learnt to mix and talk to the other children of his age at a more independent level and also he has learnt to share his toys as well which is great.

What I experience in Busy Bees is an amazing journey within the last 2 years and I am proud of them and what I receive from Busy Bees. Every day I have left my precious angel in complete confidence. From wellbeing to learning - I have always been pleased and well assured. Any questions I've had have always been addressed. I couldn't have asked for more. I'm sad we have to leave. I hope my little one is as happy at his future nursery.

The nursery is a facility that I feel very comfortable leaving my child. She has started interacting with other kids and she is speaking better. I believe overall the nursery is a good nursery.


My child has been there since 11 months old, now 4 and has learnt a lot, has had good key workers who are there to support my child's needs. They give good feedback daily and my child's fed a good variety of healthy food.


If any problems have happened,

the nursery has been quick to sort it and resolve the problem as best they can.
So overall I'm satisfied with Busy Bees at Lewisham Day Nursery.

My child has grown from strength to strength at the nursery. He has developed loads and has learnt so many new skills in the 10 months he has been attending. The staff are very friendly and experienced and my child feels at home there. After an adjustment to his new surroundings at first, he now can't
wait to leave me in the morning. The food menu is very wide and my child has started to eat more after a little fussy start.
I would definitely recommend this nursery to others.

My son really enjoys his time at Busy Bees. He has a smile when I drop him off and one when I pick him up too! The staff are also very warm and caring - always giving me personal updates about how his day went, what he enjoyed doing, how he napped, etc -- they are definitely giving him plenty of care

My daughter goes to the nursery since she was three years old and she absolutely loves it!
The staff are very professional, caring and passionate about my child's progression.

My grandson has special needs, and we have had a lot of support throughout. The nursery has welcomed several outside agencies and implemented the suggestions they have made relating to his care. They (the nursery) have also played an important role in securing an EHC plan for him.
The staff are caring
and friendly and have made every effort to accommodate my grandson's needs. I feel they genuinely care for him and enjoy him. It is a little hard to fill in all the categories below as my grandson's needs are not standard so I find it hard to judge some of the facilities (learning, or activities, for example).
Also, he only attends about 10-11 hours per week.

My name is Deniz Goordyal and I am the Centre Director of Lewisham nursery.


I have worked in Early Years since 1989 and have two children of my own. I have worked at Busy Bees since 2003 first as a Manager at the Greenwich branch and then as a Regional Director for the London Region then returning to managing at the Lewisham branch in 2016. I have come back to my roots as my childcare career began in the London Borough of Lewisham, working in Deptford and the surrounding areas. I hold the BTEC National Diploma in Childcare and a Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification. Childcare is my passion and I love to have fun with children. I am creative and like to dance and play games and challenge children's thinking. I have lots of other interests which include travelling, pampering myself and eating out gardening and walking!
