My son started going to Busy Bees two months ago. He is a very happy, healthy and confident child who loves the activities provided by the nursery.
The management and staff are excellent and I'm very grateful to them making my return to work so much easier.
I highly recommend it. It is a friendly,
flexible and a professional place to have your child.

This is an amazing nursery. All the staff are extremely passionate about all the children's progress and will always give complete attention to every child's needs and encouragement to better them and their learning. My son always struggles with his eating and is a very fussy eater but the staff and
teachers always encourage him and successfully manage to get him to finish his meals. I am very pleased I chose this nursery for my son even with all the security they have in place you know your child is in safe hands.

A very well maintained nursery with very friendly and enthusiastic staff. My son enjoys his time at the nursery and always comes home happy and smiling and I have peace of mind that he is in good hands.

Our son enjoys his time at the nursery and we have peace of mind that he is in good hands. The staff are really friendly, warm and enthusiastic. They discuss with us his progress and any issues to take note of, which is really helpful in knowing how he is progressing.
There is a good selection of
toys and activities so we know he is well entertained and learns a lot. He enjoys being in the outdoor area and we know he has a lot of fun in the outdoor play area especially in the summer.
We are happy with the food offered - it's very interesting menus. Initially, we thought the food would be too sophisticated for him but he enjoys the variety and the different taste.

I extremely recommend Busy Bees in Lewisham. All the teachers are excellent professionals and my child is always so happy to go there. They always give so much love to children. I'm so happy with them.

They are supportive to my son who has some challenge with the clarity of his speech. He is always willing and happy to be at the nursery. There are improved activities to improve learning. They also offer varied menu to appeal to picky eaters. The outside play area could be bigger tho. Would recommend.

Our child has been attending Busy Bees at Lewisham Nursery part-time since March 2015 and has progressed through baby and toddler rooms to pre-school. We are very happy with Busy Bees, all staff (including office and chef) are friendly and caring.
The organisation and management of the nursery is
good. The rooms are well stocked with toys and books and there is a wide variety of activities every day. Additionally special events such as dressing-up days or pumpkin carving competition.
I particularly like the modern building with all the rooms on the same floor. The outdoor space is small but well used and the toddler and pre-school rooms have direct access to the garden.
There is a good variety of freshly prepared food provided for meals.
We have always been given daily feedback on activities, how much food eaten and mood during nursery. The nursery regularly asks for information on home activities and also suggests activities enjoyed at nursery that could be tried at home.

The Busy Bees at Lewisham is very professional. I am very happy with the way things are doing over there. My daughter loves the nursery very much. She learns a lot of new things whenever she goes there. The staff there are nice and kind to the children too.

Busy Bees at Lewisham is a great nursery. The staff have always been efficient, friendly, supportive and kind. We have total trust in them looking after our 2-year-old son.
The classrooms are clean, bright and full of exciting toys. Meal time is very well organised and our son enjoys the dishes that
are made daily on the premises.
I highly recommend this nursery. We visited 3 others before choosing Busy Bees. For us, the staff, space, other children and cleanliness were the best we had seen. We are very happy with our choice.

Our 14 month old daughter has just started full time at this nursery and she is already having a fantastic time. The staff are great and have been reassuring and updating me and my husband who have found it difficult to be away from her, as I am sure many parents can relate.


Our daughter is out

in the nursery garden on a daily basis to get a breath of fresh air and has already been painting and creative in general. The activities are great to keep her busy, distracted and most importantly key to her development. We are also pleased with the food menu, as there is a variety of snacks and meals and we know that she is keeping to a healthy yet fulfilling diet.


We receive a daily written report and our special requirements have been kept to, as all children are different and have different needs. They are doing a fantastic job and it has given us confidence that our baby girl is being well looked after.

When my little girl started I was worried as she is always with me and she was upset with me leaving her at nursery to start with. Being a first time mum, I was quite upset, but the staff at this nursery helped me feel at ease and were so friendly. My little girl settled in so easily it only took a
few weeks and she was excited to go and wasn't upset anymore. You are always kept well informed of any news and kept up to date with what your child does in the nursery. It's simply great! I will be sad when she leaves to go to primary school in September 2017.

Deniz Goordyal

Job Title: Centre Director Joined: 2003

My name is Deniz Goordyal and I am the Centre Director of Lewisham nursery.


I have worked in Early Years since 1989 and have two children of my own. I have worked at Busy Bees since 2003 first as a Manager at the Greenwich branch and then as a Regional Director for the London Region then returning to managing at the Lewisham branch in 2016. I have come back to my roots as my childcare career began in the London Borough of Lewisham, working in Deptford and the surrounding areas. I hold the BTEC National Diploma in Childcare and a Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification. Childcare is my passion and I love to have fun with children. I am creative and like to dance and play games and challenge children's thinking. I have lots of other interests which include travelling, pampering myself and eating out gardening and walking!
