Busy Bees Lewisham

The assistant centre director and the team are absolute stars. We are so lucky to have found this nursery. Our daughter has always been very shy and has some extra needs and the assistant centre director puts the loveliest strategies in place, especially for her, to make her feel super special, every day when she arrives. Our daughter's confidence has grown no end. The team are super caring and adore kids (we have been to other nurseries where they don't seem to!) and it feels like an extension of our family.

Busy Bees, Lewisham has been a wonderful place for my son to attend. I selected this nursery over others in the area due to the staff. The friendly and welcoming atmosphere and that all children seem so happy and much loved. My son settled really well thanks to a gentle settling period and since then he bounds in every morning and has a wonderful day. The staff give good debriefs after the day and the app is very helpful, especially to see when he napped. Regular menus are posted online which helps me see what he will be eating and in the event of any issue, the staff communicate swiftly and tactfully if needed. I am really pleased I picked Busy Bees, Lewisham and will send my second child there too.

When choosing a nursery, we looked at several in the area and, in hindsight, have been extremely happy with our choice.

Both of my children go to Busy Bees, Lewisham, since October 2019 (and March 2020 for my youngest). We chose the nursery as it has a warm, organised and happy atmosphere from the moment you walk in the door. The children are well cared for and happy every day. All staff are pleasant, caring and engaged. The feedback at the door and via the app is fantastic. We are very grateful to Busy Bees for the care given to the children and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery. The nursery is small, but the facilities are good and the food is made by a chef on-site and is particularly good.

Clean, organised, very caring teachers and stimulating activities organised every day. My two daughters attended for three years and every day they were very happy to go to nursery. I always left them with no concerns, knowing that I was leaving them with people I could trust. I would really recommend Busy Bees at Lewisham!

Great experience so far. I see how happy my child is. The development I also witness is amazing. They learn so much. The staff is very friendly and they have many activities in the nursery. The parents are also involved which is amazing.

He is very well liked there, the staff are all incredible and very informative of his day and routine. I feel he is completely happy while in their care and couldn’t be happier he is enjoying his days there.

The nursery has a welcoming, homely feel and they have been supportive and responsive in adjusting meals and drinks to meet her dietary and health needs.

Our daughter settled in perfectly last year, and she has been attending the Busy Bees Lewisham nursery since then. The members of the staff are professional, kind, and caring, and are experienced to handle severe food allergies like in our case. Our daughter attends the nursery full time, and is visibly happy and excited every morning when we prepare to go out and visit the nursery.

We have been extremely happy with the care our son has received. The team focus on being baby-led which matches our approach at home and so the nursery is an excellent fit for our family. My son is confident and happy at nursery and really enjoys the activities offered which seem to be wide in nature and variety. My son and his key worker have a strong bond and I know this means he is being cared for to an excellent standard and trusts all the other nursery staff too - some mornings he will leap into their arms ready to play! He eats all the food so I am assuming it tastes great and I know it has been NHS nutritionally approved which also gives me peace of mind. Occasionally the app has broken but this is rare and the only reason I would rate ICT "good" rather than excellent - when it does work it is a fantastic way to be reassured his day is going well - I love to see photos and observations on there.

Busy Bees has really exceeded our expectations. Our 1 year old loves to go and has been progressing incredibly quickly since attending. They are so thoughtful and work so hard to accommodate everyone’s child. They put a lot of care and thought to consider their individual needs and work hard on developing the children’s confidence. Really love the loving environment and are so glad we chose this nursery.

My daughter has attended since she was 7-months-old and is now two and a half. She loves all the staff and talks about all her friends and the activities they do. It’s great to know the menu is accredited by the NHS, so she has a healthy balanced diet and freshly cooked food on site! It’s hard to keep up at home! The garden is used in all weathers, and we love getting ideas to use at home to help keep her busy. She has transitioned so well after lockdown, and it’s a credit to the amazing team and management. The team are fantastic and I can’t fault them. They are so caring and have created such a lovely, engaging environment where our son's development has come on leaps and bounds. Our son enjoys going to nursery and always has a smile on his face.

Our daughter started in August this year, at 11 months old. We were feeling very nervous about nursery, but we had a great settling in period with lots of sessions in advance. Mainly it really reassured us as parents. Our daughter absolutely loves it here! She kicks her legs and waves her arms in excitement as we walk down the hill towards nursery. Does so many activities, the food is great, and everyone is really lovely. The only problem is that we've got to up our activity quality as parents! Everyone who works there seems to really care about the kids and they're great with us as parents. We get loads of feedback, ideas on what we can do with her, and lots of photos and updates via the dedicated website. Couldn't recommend it any higher.

The start of nursery is as most parents will agree a huge choice and decision to make as a parent. The team at Busy Bees Lewisham have made this changeover the most effective and delightful transition we could have asked for as a family. My daughter loves all the workers and her learning has developed volumes from her starting at Busy Bees. Really pleased we chose Busy Bees Lewisham.

Our daughter has been attending Busy Bees Lewisham since June and we are totally blown away by the professionalism, kindness and huge amount of care and expertise shown by the staff team. Our daughter found it a little hard to settle in but her carer was outstanding. It's so reassuring for us to have found a nursery that encompasses so many of our approaches to parenting and childcare. We are blessed and so, so grateful.

My little one has been attending Busy Bees Lewisham since January - with a break over the full lockdown period. He absolutely loves it. The staff are attentive and fun, mixing educational games with important skills such as reading and talking. My son is 18 months old, and learning independence and they have been great at helping him grow in confidence, whether it's climbing the slide in the garden or trying new foods at lunch. As a working parent, it means the world to know I'm dropping him somewhere that he loves, surrounded by people that genuinely care for him. They go the extra mile, taking the time to find out the games he likes to play at home and the books he likes to read. The Busy Bees app also keeps me up to date with everything he's been up to while at nursery. I love it. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

This nursery is wonderful. The kind staff are really passionate about the wellbeing of all the children. I feel my little one has really flourished since being here. We are always informed of any events, exciting days and activities the children have been getting up to. The children’s days are well structured and keep to a fun-filled routine. We have updates from the staff on how our little one is developing and what she is learning, we even get updates on what she has eaten that day. The building is well equipped, clean and safe for a full day of play and learning. We are so happy to have our little one at this nursery.
