Busy Bees Lewisham

I can genuinely say sending our son here has been one of the best decisions we have made for him.

Our favourite thing about Busy Bees at Lewisham are the lovely, caring staff members and management staff. Our son (now 18mo) started at 10months and had some challenges settling in and resettling after holidays. His carers have been very good at trying a range of techniques and see what approaches to e.g. nap times work best with him, and they've always put his wellbeing first in terms and worked with us to improve his day to day experience at nursery (e.g. suggesting white noise similar to home, trying out a different nap schedule, etc). I can confidently say that Orson loves all the staff members, not just those in his room. The nursery being small means all carers know him and he has developed strong bonds. His language has exploded and we can tell he's learned new words from nursery. The staff are very creative with the activities they do, and the food is very good. Last but not least, a huge shout out to the managers & room leads-they run a tight ship and always make time for us!

The settling-in process was handled with great care and attention. The staff spent dedicated time helping him feel comfortable and kept us updated regularly, which gave us real peace of mind. They have also been incredibly attentive whenever he has had any medical needs, and we are very grateful for the level of care and support they have shown.

It's coming up to a year since our son started attending Busy Bees. We are so pleased with his growth and development. He enjoys all the activities at his nursery and has formed secure bonds with many of the staff members. We appreciate the diversity of nutritious meals on their menus. It's great to see so many experienced members of staff who have been with the nursery for years. It assures us that Busy Bees is a good workplace for them, which makes it a safe environment for our kids. Really glad to have this wonderful nursery right down the road from us.

The sense of community and the engaging activities make it such a warm and happy environment. We're so grateful for everything the team does and couldn't recommend the nursery more highly.

The nursery is very well organised and staff are very quick to respond to messages.

The teachers are wonderful, always attentive, always engaged, very friendly and communicative, and dedicated to what they do. I feel safe leaving him there with them because I know he's in good hands.

We're still very early in our journey with Busy Bees Lewisham, having just completed our settling-in sessions, but the whole experience has already surpassed our expectations: Kirsty, Amy, Krysti and the team have been absolutely wonderful. Our little one has already become completely enamoured with them, which has been incredibly reassuring as first-time parents. Very quickly, we went from feeling anxious about leaving her, to feeling excited about how much fun she's going to have and how much it will support her development. The settling-in process has been thoughtful, thorough and full of common sense, and the team strike a brilliant balance between being warm, loving and safety conscious. We've actually learned a lot ourselves already! We looked at a bunch of nurseries, but there was something about the calm, gentle and knowledgeable approach at Lewisham that immediately stood out. It's still early days, but we already feel completely confident we made the right decision!

Simply the best nursery! Both of my children go to this nursery and I have never had to worry about them. The staff are conscientious and genuinely care for each child - their wellbeing and development. They led the potty training of my youngest who is now fully trained at less than 2 years old. They also support my eldest who is advanced with her writing and memory skills, she relays her day to me instead of the staff- getting her ready for school in September.

My son has been attending busy bees for 5 months now and he absolutely loves it. At the beginning, like any child, he was reluctant to go in but now he's usually excited to go in to play and learn with his new friends. He is a but of a fussy eater at home but at nursery, presumably as he's around other children eating, he seems to engage a lot more with new foods. He also receives a lot more variation in activities than we can provide at home, as well as social interactions with all the other kids. I think his development is significantly better since he started attending. Its a lovely space, the staff are amazing and I can't recommend this nursery enough.

Busy bees lewisham is an astonishingly good nursery! We could not have picked a better nursery for our son.

Shortly before he was due to start we found out that he has a severe learning disability. The staff went - and continue to go - above and beyond in terms of inclusion and support for him. We feel so reassured knowing they're supporting him with his physio, occupational and speech and language therapies - to be honest I feel like they're probably often doing a better job than we are. All the professionals involved in his care have been blown away by their commitment and talent. They've also provided so much support and reassurance to us as a family.

Our son also has the most fun at nursery! They do so many great activities and I love hearing about all the cool stuff he's been up to in his day. The team have all made a real effort and got to know who he is and what he likes, and really relate to him as a person.

Could not recommend strongly enough.

Wonderful Team, very caring and welcoming. Nursery is quite small and therefore each child is familiar with educators from different groups, which helps transitions. Good food. Good values. Kids learn practical skills from young age

We'd highly recommend it and would like to thank everyone working at Busy Bees Lewisham for providing such a safe, nurturing, and fun environment to our children.

Overall experience is very good, very good communication and the child is always happy to go to nursery, great dietary options and facilities. Child seems to be very well adjusted and we can genuinely see progress in learning and social skills.

An amazing nursery that puts my child's needs first and encourages them to grow, mature and play! I am so happy we chose Busy Bees as our nursery, as they have helped my little one grow, have plenty of outdoor play and are helpful with dietary needs.

Such a friendly staffs and my daughter's Fav staffs. The way they handle each kids are much appreciated. They spent plenty of time with each parents to give daily feedback which is so impressive.My daughter is so happy to go to nursery and she is being well engaged with all the staffs and her friends at nursery. This makes us to be relaxed at home.

Both our kids attended Busy Bees and have a happy bright day every time. Lots of care and a great admin side too - were looked after as parents so I feel v reassured they are having fun here. The oldest still wants to go in and play!

We could not be happier at Busy Bees Lewisham. Our son has always been happy to go in every day and always seems to be doing fun activities. The staff have been brilliant, they really care for the children in their charge and it is obvious in how they treat them. Communication from management has also been great.

Facilities and food menu both of very high standards.
