I found all the Nursery staff to be extremely kind, considerate and well informed. They really helped to bridge the transition of separation, into a new environment. He thoroughly enjoys his time there, and I think as a parent, we all want to be kept well informed about how our child is doing. The school has a good balance of learning while play, and the structured day has a positive effect on my son's routine. The information flow between parent and school is good too, I can actually see what he's been doing in the week through the newsletters. Really have been most impressed with Hydesville Tower and my son's progress so far!
I am so happy with how quickly our child has settled in. The attention and support from the staff is amazing and nothing is too much trouble. We like the fact, that they listen and work with us, to the benefit of our child. The structure of the children's day is well planned and we feel as parents we have access at all times.
Our son started nursery just after his fourth birthday and within a week we agreed to a full-time place, he settled in so well!
I can honestly say he loves his class, he has made lots of friends and the other parents are so welcoming. It really is like a little family!
The whole environment is full of things for the children to explore, lots for them to do, it’s clear to see why they are all so happy and confident.
Our son particularly enjoys the fantastic outdoor space, the forest school and staying after school hours for his tea!
We can’t thank them enough for giving our son the best start to his education and instilling a love for learning from an early age.

Meet the Team (2)
I truly believe that Hydesville is a real part of my family and a wonderful place to be. It has always been an aim of mine to create a lifelong lasting impression on the individual child’s learning and development. I feel that it is imperative that all children can access high-quality education and a broad balanced curriculum, which is conducive to promoting powerful and active little learners.
We actively promote routine within the daily programme, balanced with adult guided structured learning and a recognition of an accurate account of what a child can do is at the heart of our personalised learning models during child-initiated activities.
I really enjoy leading a team of dedicated, hardworking Early Years’ practitioners, who bring a wealth of experience and a robust understanding of the Early Years’ Foundation Stage Curriculum. This not only supports our youngest children to learn effectively but gives me confidence that our children’s needs are put first and we facilitate a high level of quality with tireless commitment.
My name is Laura Willis and my role is that of Deputy Head within the Nursery setting.
I have been employed at Hydesville Tower School Nursery for 15 years, starting in 2005. I have developed not only on my own learning journey but that of students past and present. In 2012 I obtained my Early Years Foundation Degree and progressed my career.
When engaging with the children I enjoy creating and nurturing ideas they have, allowing them to develop their own ideas within our friendly, family teaching environment. If required I can seek support from further specialised roles.
I aim to give each child a unique and dynamic learning experience whilst guiding them to lay the foundations for their education, personal, social, and emotional development here at Hydesville.
One of the main things I really like about our Hydesville family is the sense of community, with such strong, positive relationships with the children and parents which is underpinned by our superb and effective teamwork, where we all work together to make it a special place for every child to be able to thrive and succeed.
I look forward to welcoming your child into the Nursery and being part of their early learning and development and seeing them grow throughout the years they will be with us.
