Co-op Childcare Finchfield has a large, busy and modern nursery, complete with an outstanding team who are all committed to meeting your child's development and care needs. Your child will also love being able to take their nursery teddy bears home for the weekend to go on exciting adventures.

The nursery is Green Eco Schools accredited, a programme that sees children make little changes that deliver big environmental differences. They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained. They use 5 Little Pioneers to help share their core values with children, from encouraging them to be independent to expressing their feelings.

They have a ParentZone app which keeps parents updated on how their little one is getting on at nursery with photos, assessments and even toilet training progress! They have a growing area for food which they also end up eating and have regular visits to a local care home.

Their local history comes to life at Finchfield as their children regularly go on trips to the park near the nursery and visit historic buildings there.

Now that my child is in the preschool room, they absolutely love it. The younger rooms felt a bit too young for them, but they've really come into their own since moving up. The staff are warm, friendly, and genuinely involved, and there's so much learning happening every day. My child comes home excited

Little Pioneer Finchfield has been fantastic for my child. The staff are warm, friendly, and genuinely caring, making my child feel comfortable from day one. We hold the pre-school care at Little Pioneers, Finchfield in very high regard.
Though initially apprehensive about placing our child in a new environment, the staff's warmth and professionalism quickly put us at ease. Their genuine care and dedication have fostered a nurturing, engaging setting that
has supported our child's development beautifully. Over the past year, we've seen significant and well-rounded progress.
Daily activities are thoughtfully themed around key annual events, adding meaningful variety to the learning experience. The nursery boasts spacious, versatile classrooms and a well-designed outdoor area with diverse zones for play and exploration.
One of the most valuable aspects has been the consistent communication from the staff. Session-end feedback, weekly updates, and detailed development reports have given us insight into our child's growth and allowed us to build upon the excellent work being done at nursery.

My send my daughter here 4 full days a week and she is thriving here. The staff are great, they have spacious rooms and a massive garden. I have never had any issues, I get a daily update when I collect my child from a staff member. The learning they teach is fantastic, the food is fantastic which,
I a plus point as is nutritional and healthy and staff are fantastic. There is always parking available for when I drop off/pick up my child. Ther is a secured place you can leave your pushchair once you have dropped off your child, saved having to it take back with you and great for when you need to leave straight for work. Always someone on reception if you need to call in or speak to someone. Overall definitely recommend sending your child here.

My daughter attends this setting has done since middle of last year. She has made so much progress in areas such as speech, controlling her emotions, making many new friends, succeeding in her learning journeys and much much more. She is now moving into a pre school room and the key worker has explained
greatly how this will change her usual routine in the nursery but for the better! I have recommended this nursery to many friends and family and would 100% be sending future siblings here too. There is a lovely outdoor space for children to play and all rooms within the nursery have great toys and activities!

From the moment I visited Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School Finchfield to have a look around, I instantly knew it was a good nursery and I wanted to send my daughter to. I felt at home and every member of staff made me feel very welcome and important. Each member of staff are very knowledgeable,
professional and showed a real passion for their profession. The nursery is modern, clean and all staff present themselves very well. Rooms are bright and tidy. The children's toilets are maintained to a high standard. I felt at ease sending my child here as all members of staff are trained in first aid. My child has learnt so much whilst being at the nursery and has excelled in all areas of development. The staff encourage the children. You're always kept informed about meal/snack times as well as toileting and how your child has been that day. My daughters key worker is amazing and is a credit to the nursery. Nursery is amazing and if you send your child here you will not regret it. The nursery is outstanding.

I have used this nursery for over 7 years and cannot fault them. They have been very accommodating and help with the transition of returning back to work from maternity leave. My son absolutely loves going to nursery. He squeals with excitement as we drive in, runs in and I don’t get a look back!
He has come along so much in the 5 months he has been there.
There are always fun activities going on and constant updates on what he’s eaten, nappy changes and any extra information
I need.
The staff are amazing across the whole nursery; very friendly and care so much for both myself and my son.
I would highly recommend!
