Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Clifton - Whiteladies Road)

Our two boys have been extremely happy at Mama Bear on Whiteladies Road. They have formed great relationships with staff in the time they have been there and speak very fondly of the staff, the activities. There has always been a very good atmosphere in the nursery and a feeling of real affection for the children.

Both of my girls love the staff and the oldest will be very sad to leave next month.

My daughter loves it at Mama Bear's. The best thing about it is the relationship the staff have with the children and the friendliness of the other children. Although she only started in pre-school, she quickly made friends and formed a close bond to the staff in her room.

Generally, this is a good nursery. My daughter has been attending here since she was 8 months old and has always loved it. The staff have always been caring and attentive. It’s just a shame that they can’t seem to keep them. Staff turnover has been high for the past 12 months and I recently received notification that they would be reducing their operating hours with less than 24 hours notice due to staff shortages. Needless to say, this was inconvenient. I just hope that they can keep on to their people for a bit longer.

Highly recommend this nursery, the manager and staff are lovely and always professional. I have currently put my daughter in for extra sessions due to her enjoying nursery so much and I really feel it has helped with her development.

We moved her due to a change in work circumstances but otherwise, she would still be there. It was great to be able to book her in from 8am- 6.30pm meaning that my husband could collect her after finishing work at 6pm. Would definitely recommend.

All of the staff at Mama Bears, Whiteladies Road, Bristol are always so great with my daughter. She is very shy around a lot of people but they always do their best to make her feel comfortable. She has developed and gained so much confidence thanks to Mama Bears.

The care from staff and the learning environment is exceptional! I am so impressed with the progress my daughter has made and the continued confidence she has gained whilst being at Mama Bear's nursery. The staff really do care and go above and beyond for all the children in their care,I could not recommend them highly enough. My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery every day.

Excellent nursery school. My daughter loved this place. The staff are of the highest calibre.

Our son has attended this nursery since the age of 10 months old. Heis now two and a half. We as parents have always been impressed with the genuine care, interest compassion and friendliness of the staff. All the staff know us and our son by first name, we receive detailed summaries of progress and activities during the days he attends and the updates on the Eylog are fantastic our son has gained social confidence and has developed some close friendships with his peers couldn't recommend more highly.

I am always able to discuss my son with staff and has helped me a lot with his potty training as well as helping me to guide my son through his anxieties about new things he had to deal with.

My daughter and I have been very happy with this nursery for the last two years. My grandson has loved every moment and the staff are lovely and caring with all the children.

We would recommend it to anyone.

The staff are friendly and always full of happiness which seems to rub off on my son who usually wants to leave at the end of the day, but is always keen to come back next time.
