Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Clifton - Whiteladies Road)

Our son has been attending the nursery for a few months. He started with a few afternoons a week and is now going four full days each week (as I've returned to work). The staff have been so accommodating of the transition in terms of helping our son feel more comfortable away from home, with carers other than his parents for the first time. The staff are incredibly attentive and responsive. For instance, our son has almost always done contact naps at home and the nursery has helped transition him from contact naps (which they did in the beginning with him) to independent naps. Whenever I pick up my son, he is engaged and busy! Or if not busy, then getting cuddles. I also really like the updates on the app. Thank you to the wonderful staff in the baby room for taking such good care of our son.

When we found Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Clifton - Whiteladies Road) we were so relieved. The flexible booking system has been so helpful and the staff are always so friendly and caring. They really put me at ease on my baby's first day and in every visit after, we always pick them up with a big smile on their face.

We are so happy with our nursery choice. Our daughter has been there for 4 months now. We really love the team, they are so friendly and seem so genuinely interested in our little one's life. She has come on leaps and bounds in her speech and play. The flexi schedule also works perfectly for us as doctors. When we have messed up our shifts, the team have gone above and beyond to try and help. I feel very happy dropping my daughter off and love being updated via the app on her activities, especially the pictures.

What really lets the nursery down is poor management by the finance team (not the individual site management, which is good). I am on my fifth email to their accounts department just this month to re-amend my incorrect invoice, and I had issues with them pre-covid. This is a long-term issue with staff not cross-checking what their software has calculated properly. My child was changed to a different type of rate than I had agreed without me being informed, and debts and interest have been showing on my bill which wasn't owed. I recommend all parents carefully check their invoicing.

My son has been really happy at the nursery, they have made him feel settled and offered consistency to his development despite the uncertainty of the pandemic which has been great. The communication between myself and the staff has always been good and I am constantly updated with any new information which as a parent it is always appreciated.

We absolutely love this nursery setting and the facilities on offer at Whiteladies Road. The team are all so engaged and enthusiastic and clearly love their jobs. We can't thank them enough for the care and attention they shower on our children.

Our son has been at Mama Bear's since he was 10 months old and he is now 3 and a half. The staff are always friendly and put the children at the heart of everything they do. We are kept up to date daily through I connect and they tailor a variety of activities for the children. The space at Apsley Road is lovely and the management is efficient and responsive. I would recommend them to any parent.

My son joined Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Clifton - Whiteladies Road) in March 2020. How time flies! It is an entire year since my family first came to the UK. I do have a lot of feedback and feelings during 2020, which is extremely special to myself and maybe everyone. Thanks to all Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Clifton - Whiteladies Road) management and staff, for giving my son a safe and happy place to learn to study. When we were in China he had never been to nursery before, it is very difficult to settle down in the UK and go to nursery, if he felt unhappy and unfriendly. Luckily, you will find neither of these occurring in Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Clifton - Whiteladies Road) at anytime. My son changed a lot since he studied in Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Clifton - Whiteladies Road). Her learnt how to eat, dress, and clean himself. He learnt to speak English and sing songs. He learnt to draw and paint what he saw. He also learnt to be polite, friendly and share with others. Thanks for your support, not only to my son himself but also to our whole family.

It is also worth mentioning that this particular nursery offers extended hours as well as flexible care, which is a real help for working parents.

My grandson really enjoys his days at the nursey. He gets on very well with the other children and also the staff are very caring. He always has a good time and is willing to learn. I would recommend this nursery to all.

My little boy started here last September and he absolutely loves it there. He was already attending another nursery when he moved to Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Clifton - Whiteladies Road) and all the staff made his transition really easy. They do really well with daily updates on the actives the children get up to, this also includes notes on how they are developing which is a great tool. I would highly recommend Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Clifton - Whiteladies). The staff are all really lovely and it’s clear they love working with children.

My daughter absolutely loves her time at preschool and she would go every day if she could. She loves the teachers, activities, food-just about everything! She is always very warmly welcomed upon arrival and I am certain she is getting the best care.

My son attends Mama Bear's at Whiteladies Road, and I have to say that the manager and his staff are incredible! My son really enjoys his time at nursery and my wife and I feel that he has developed so much while being there. I would heartily, as well as strenuously, recommend Mama Bear's to any parent 'considering'.

The staff have been very friendly and supportive to us and have given us regular updates on how our child is getting on.

We are delighted with our child's progress at Mama Bear's since he began there at the start of the year. He is developing so well and loves going there with his peers and getting a warm welcome from the staff on arrival. We have seen huge improvements in many areas in our child and are so impressed with the information provided on the 'parentzone' app giving daily updates of his time spent at nursery along with some helpful tips around food/nutrition, things to do at home and seasonal activities. If we have ever needed to change the dates of the days for our child's visit the nursey always do their best so he does not miss out on any hours of learning. In these 'testing' times Mama Bear's have still provided a fantastic level of service and we are excited to be able to come back inside the nursery to pick our child up when safety allows. We would have no hesitation in recommending Mama Bear's and will continue to keep our child there as long as we can.
