I chose this nursery based on the high quality of the facilities and friendliness of the staff, the location is also very convenient.
My daughter settled in quickly in the Rising 3s room. The staff are very warm and great with the kids. Her key worker, in particular, is very caring and I'm happy to
leave my child with her.
My daughter loves the bilingual beats singing and the sand kitchen outside. She's always happy when I pick her up.
I like that I get a rundown of how much she has eaten and slept during the day.
The flexibility of this nursery is helpful and now there's a loyalty scheme with free sessions.
I'm impressed they are visiting primary schools in the area so the children are being prepared.
Overall, I'm very happy to recommend this nursery.

Our daughter has been at Clapham Village Nursery since she was 9 months old, she is now 3. This is an excellent nursery that has nurtured her to be sociable, an extrovert, fantastic development and skills. As for the facilities - they are excellent with amazing learning tools. Staff are always friendly
and go all out to make the experience less stressful and always there to help. 5-star nursery.

My son went to a previous nursery and he didn't enjoy it. I originally picked Clapham Village Nursery before it was open in 2014 and I'm glad I did! They look after him very well, and he has settled in great. He is more social and implements what he has learnt there at home. The staff are attentive
and gives me feedback on his progress. Only negative I would say is the need for more staff in the rooms. Overall the facilities are great, lots of different activities and toys to keep the kids active. When I collect my son he's still content and shows he has had fun. I'm just happy that he is also happy there and I am glad I went back to my first choice.

My daughter has been going to this nursery for over a year. The staff and management are very friendly and easy to approach. The teaching techniques are absolutely amazing. The staff are very dedicated and hardworking. In addition, they keep parents updated as to what or how they are working on improving
the child's skill etc


I strongly believe if the nursery get more staff it will add to their strength. Overall I am very happy with my daughter's progress.

My children have been attending Clapham Village Nursery for a year now and they love being there. The staff are warm and friendly and it feels very family oriented. The staff regularly give updates on activities at the nursery, as well as sending out tips for learning and progression at home. My children
have greatly increased their language, knowledge and creativity skills through a variety of songs, tactile learning, arts and crafts and learning other languages.
The outdoor facilities are great considering it is in London and the creation station, dance studio and cooking areas are great quality.
Staff are very good at communicating development and development needs of the children to the parents.
The meals cooked on site are good quality and cover an array of food choices.

My review is based upon my experience of my son joining the nursery and starting in the Younger Babies room at 12 months old. From day one, the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming and caring. The settling in process was well planned with careful consideration given to how both my son and us as his
parents would feel leaving him for the first time.


At drop offs and pick ups, I feel confident and able to speak to any of the staff about my son as it is evident they are looking out for all of the children in the room. The nursery is very well equipped with everything the children need to enjoy their day and for the staff to do their job. The children's days are filled with fun activities and healthy meals. I would highly recommend this nursery based on the care my son has received in a clean, bright and healthy environment.

My journey with Bright Horizons started in 2009 at our Wandsworth Common Day Nursery and Preschool. I worked alongside the team to achieve an OUTSTANDING from Ofsted and during my time at Wandsworth progressed from a Nursery Nurse to Deputy Manager and now Nursery Manager.


My passion lies in supporting our staff to provide the best possible care for the children we are fortunate enough to look after. I am excited about the next part of my Bright Horizons journey at Clapham Day Nursery and Preschool.

I have worked in childcare for 10 years with a variety of experience in nurseries and as a Nanny. Ensuring children have the best possible start in life is my main priority and I enjoy supporting the team to plan and deliver exciting learning opportunities.
