Little Bugs Childcare

Little Bugs is an exceptional nursery setting. My child thrives there and has all of his physical, emotional and educational needs met. The staff are warm and caring, like extended family! The activities are planned with precision and engagement in mind. I will be sad when my little one leaves but for now, we will keep on enjoying it!

We could not have asked for a better nursery in terms of infrastructure and attention to care for our two little rascals. We’ve been through two nurseries and a childminder and there is no comparison. My boys literally go to a theme park daily and get to see Santa and pick pumpkins without having to pay through my nose for these activities. The management and the girls are amazing, experienced and accommodating. My boys are really happy here. I never had them complaining about going to nursery.

The staff team are superstars, you can see that they build genuine and real connections with the children and my daughter trusts and loves them. Equally, management is incredibly friendly, approachable and responsive. I really couldn’t fault Little Bugs Nursery and would absolutely recommend them for anyone looking for a nurturing, educational, fun and safe environment for their child!

Little Bugs has been absolutely fantastic for our toddler, from when he first started at 9 months old to him now transitioning to the Toddler room. In addition to getting regular updates through the app, I feel staff genuinely care about my little boy and he's getting eager to get his shoes and coat on, ready for nursery each morning. They're supportive of our wishes for his potty training and have a good sense of him. The connection with The Web is a real added bonus! It’s a little further for us to travel, but with how much he loves it, it’s definitely the best choice for us.

I am so happy with Little Bugs, without exception the staff are caring, knowledgeable and friendly. The nursery does a wide variety of different activities and has a wonderful forest school and outside space. My children have very different personalities and these are recognised, nurtured and catered for.

My little one has a dairy allergy and they make sure she is included in all activities with specialist ingredients if needed.

Fantastic nursery! The key workers are brilliant. My daughter has settled into Little Bugs really well. The day-to-day activities that they do with the children seem really engaging. The facilities are great, with access to the Adventure Park. They also have an app where I can track my daughter's food/snack intake for breakfast/lunch/dinner.

Our baby started nursery this September at 15 months of age, from the moment I stepped inside I knew it was the nursery for us and this has been made clear following the past two months, staff have been very child-focused and allowed my child to settle in calmly.

We are so impressed with little bugs! They came so highly recommended and we can see why, our little boy is thriving in the setting and we love the regular updates when he is in. The staff are so friendly, we have recommended this nursery to our friends who have had/having children and they too, have secured a place here.

Little Bugs Childcare is the absolute best! The care and creativity for the activities planned daily are outstanding! My daughter loves to go to spend the day with her preschoolers! Our daughter's key worker has the most golden heart and we believe she loves our daughter as much as we do! We experience our daughter daily having learnt something new and it’s all down to the fantastic and amazing team at Little Bugs! We had the option of our daughter to attend our village preschool this year but Little Bugs meant too much to us for her to leave! Our daughter loves the meals on offer, always varied with healthy options. Finally, little bugs have always accommodated the days we needed child care for they are so organised with systems and make it easy for parents with the app. We really don’t think there’s a better childcare provider in York! We love the Little Bugs team!

Brilliant nursery with staff that go above and beyond. My child is known by all staff and has brilliant relationships with them all. They're kind, caring, and provide the children with excellent opportunities. My child loves attending Little Bugs Childcare and has made so much progress socially, emotionally, and academically.

Little Bugs Childcare is an exceptional nursery, it's so much more than a nursery, it has the feel of a second home. The staff goes above and beyond while caring for my two girls. There is always a huge selection of activities. The outside space is out of this world and if that is not enough the children have the use of Creepy Crawlies inside and outdoor space. My girls have both been thriving in the setting. It's an outstanding nursery and I recommend it to anyone.

Our little one's care at Little Bugs has been really good. They have thoroughly enjoyed attending since a young age and are constantly learning and thriving as they get older which is great to see. We have had very little issues with the Little Bugs team who always accommodate to our little one's needs. Thank you for all your hard work and keep it up as you are all doing a great job!

Our second child will be starting at Little Bugs next year, and we are looking forward to her having a great experience too.

Little bugs is an outstanding facility with a caring team looking after our children, we have been using them for 3 years and both of our children attend, I couldn’t recommend them enough. They’re incredibly professional and it’s a home from home for our children. Our little boy has severe allergies and the team have worked with us through the years to ensure his safety and our confidence in them. They’re worth their weight in gold!

Little Bugs Childcare is a wonderful nursery and we have had a very positive experience. Our daughter started in the baby room and is now in pre school. The carers and teachers are wonderful, caring and nurturing. I particularly love that they spend a lot of time outdoors in nature or playing on bikes etc. The children also have access to fantastic facilities. I would highly recommend.

Both my children have attended this nursery. They both have loved the staff who are welcoming informative and have great connections with all the children I've seen. The food is great and the activities even better. Forest school, activity park, outdoor and indoor play as well as the animals and craft area. New security measures put into place to keep the children even safer and very flexible. During these awful times, the staff have always been pleasant and have adapted well. Would most definitely recommend this nursery and now my eldest is at school, as soon as the out of school club reopens - they will be staying on to attend this too.

I sent my daughter to Little Bugs in July, the staff were fantastic as it was really hard not being able to go in with her. They are so informative when I collect her, telling me all about her day. She always has a massive grin when I drop her off. Can't recommend this nursery enough!

Very happy with the care my daughter receives; she clearly loves spending time at Little Bugs, always comes out with a huge smiler on her face! We receive detailed feedback on how she is progressing and what they have been doing/working on. The staff all remember her name when arriving and give her a very friendly welcome, which helps settle her. Would recommend to anyone!
