The team at the nursery are fantastic and really make such a great effort to take care of the children and have helped Gracie build her confidence up massively. My daughter started Little Bugs Childcare in January 2014 after her third birthday and settled in amazingly due to the staff's care and commitment! As an early years teacher myself I had very high standards of what I was looking for in a nursery setting for my daughter and Little Bugs Childcare fit our needs and was just what I was looking for! My daughter is now about to start school and had an amazing time at the nursery, she has come on so much and talks often about nursery!

My daughter is getting on really well at little bugs since starting in March this year. The setting is fantastic with lots of outdoor activities and regular visits to the onsite soft play area. The staff are really good with the children being supportive, friendly, kind and encouraging. I know she has great fun while she is there as it's a job to drag her away at the end of the day sometimes! The giant sand pit is a particular favourite. We get a daily progress report and she regularly brings things home that she has made during the day. Learning is encouraged through play and there is plenty for the children to do to keep those little minds busy! I would recommend this nursery to anyone in to York area.

“I have worked in childcare for more years than I would like to admit! I have experience of caring for children in many different situations from being a private nanny, working in schools, private day nurseries and through being a Beaver Scout Leader. I love to watch and help the children in my care to learn and develop new skills which are going to help them in their future. I feel the best thing we can do as childcare practitioners is to encourage children to fully appreciate their childhood and treasure it and the memories they will make during it.”

“I have worked in childcare for seven years since I left school. I went to college for two years and I achieved a BTEC national diploma level 3 in Early Years. I have worked with all ages of children up to the age of 8, I have done this through working in baby units, toddlers, pre-school and reception classes. I enjoy making great relationships with the children whilst helping them learn and develop new skills.
