Partou Leaps and Bounds Day Nursery & Pre-school

My daughter has settled very well into leaps & bounds nursery. The staff there are great with her especially when she was first settling into a nursery environment, she loves going to nursery & seems very happy there!

I have had two nieces attend this setting in the last 3 years and they both have had great experiences. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and have taken amazing care of both girls. The baby room is great and take great care when settling children into the environment. They are helpful and go above and beyond for each individual child and their families. I feel delighted to have had such a positive experience!

The children have both learned loads: academically, physically and emotionally.

Leaps and Bounds has nurtured and cared for all three of our boys since 2020 and we are so grateful for their care, genuine kindness and flexibility. Preschool was such a fun time for the older boys, and the little one going through babies is delighted to arrive on his days there. The little trips they organise, the outdoor games, the imaginative use of the tuff trays and play set ups, and the cleanliness is really second to none. The atmosphere is healthy, happy and really kind between the children and any issues are dealt with calmly and respectfully. The care workers know him so well, are so delighted by all his progress and see to his needs in a respectful and intelligent way. We are so grateful for all Leaps has done for our boys.

My son has been at Leaps & Bounds for 7 months and we all love it there. The staff are so caring and friendly. We wanted to change our days just before he started and the manager was able to accommodate at short notice. Our son has settled in so well and we couldn't recommend the nursery enough.

Good nursery with great staff. Only downside is small outside space but everything else is great. My daughter is loving her time there and was made to feel very welcome when she joined from another nursery. Always seems to be lots of activities going on.

We're really happy with the level of care at this nursery. Our little one seems super happy and continues to make strong attachments to staff members. We get good developmental feedback, and the facilities are good.

We feel so lucky to have a place at Leaps and Bounds in the preschool room after moving from another nursery in January 2025 due to a change in opening hours at our old preschool. We were a little nervous about moving our son but the team settled him in seamlessly and made us all feel very welcome. Our son is thriving after only being there for one term, we see lots of updates on the app and he has made so much progress in such a little time. His key workers plan activities to fit the time of year, the children's interests, key learning aims and after identifying areas that those in their group could develop. For example when our son started staff noticed he wasn't using the other children's names so they played a game where he could learn and use the other children's names. He excitedly tells us all about his day and the friends he has made.

The baby room staff have been outstanding at helping our baby settle. Even though he's only there one day a week he's formed strong bonds with the staff, and we can tell they are caring, inventive, and very competent at helping the children develop in all areas. They have taken the time to give us detailed updates on the app while he's been settling in, putting our minds at ease and giving us an insight into his world there, and we're really grateful. Thank you, team!

Really fab nursery!

Communication is good from the team - for admin-related updates, they're good at sending emails. The nursery uses an app that allows them to share updates throughout the day, note milestones, and share photos of the kiddo.

My daughter has attended since she was a year old and we have been so impressed with the care she has been given. Every key worker and member of staff who works at the nursery is so kind to our daughter and we have no reservations about leaving our daughter for the day. Amazing resources for the children, excellent communication with parents, and lovely friends for our daughter to play with. Highly recommend.

Most of all they are open and transparent, any accidents or other issues I get a call when at work to update me. When something new is suggested for my daughter they ask my opinion and are happy to be led by that which means a lot to me.

We have been really impressed with the nursery. Our boy has settled in so well and absolutely loves it. The staff are so friendly and always give us an update on his day on pick up. They do lots of activities and spend plenty of time outside in the garden. We feel confident leaving our boy at the nursery knowing he will be well looked after and enjoy his day.

I'm so grateful to the Leaps and Bounds team for taking care of my girls for the last five years. Times are hard for childcare providers, but the manager and his team always do their best. The staff are full of energy and enthusiasm, and my children always looked forward to going. I know they were safe and well cared for, and they always seemed to eat well! The recent expansion of the pre-school room has really given the children more space (and I love the art set-up). Thank you and well done Leaps and Bounds.
