Bright Horizons Cheshunt Day Nursery and Preschool

My second child currently attends Bright Horizons and is in the Nursery room. I have always been happy with the standard of the nursery and both my children really enjoyed the setting. The layout of the nursery is great, the garden facilities are good all year round, the menu has a lot of choices and my children learned so much whilst they were there towards their development! The staff become like a little family, both of my children have such lovely memories at the nursery with regular reports on their development recorded in folders. Given that the past year has been difficult, the nursery made it easy to adapt to the changes and have handled the adjustments extremely well, it has kept that bit of normality for my little one whilst they are there. I have always found the staff extremely approachable, easy to deal with and flexible with any requests - the nursery definitely lives up to its standards and I will be sad when the time comes for my little one to leave!!

My husband and I are very happy with this nursery. We were nervous to send our child as he had never left me and had some speech delay. Our son enjoys nursery and always comes out with a big smile. He has built a lovely relationship with his key worker who is very helpful and available on the few occasions that I’ve called to ask a question. His speech has really come on and his confidence has grown. I’m glad we picked this nursery.

My daughter has been at Bright Horizons Cheshunt Day Nursery and Preschool for 2 years and she absolutely loves it there. All the staff are friendly and attentive to her. The range of activities she does over the years has really helped her development and I could not recommend them highly enough!

My son started at Bright Horizons Cheshunt Day Nursery a few months ago. The decision to transition him into a nursery environment before starting school was very nerve-wracking for me - I am used to being around him 24/7! I mentioned my worries to his room leader and the management and was put at ease instantly. The staff really care about the children they look after and play a key part in aiding your child's development, both socially and academically. They will go out of their way to answer any questions you may have. Since attending, I have noticed my son really come along with his talking, he is now putting more sentences together and enjoys role-playing with his toys. He seems very happy when he comes home and I love reading his daily feedback sheets. Thank you for being there for my little man!

My boy has been attending this nursery since he was ten months old and he is now 2. I am very pleased with the service in this nursery. I am never worried when I drop off my son because I know he gets the best care and attention. Keep up the good job guys.

My daughter started attending this nursery in September after a few months of lockdown. The nursery invited her multiple times for settle in sessions which gave me great confidence as I returned to work. The nursery provides daily updates on what my daughter has been doing with detailed sheets sent home, as well as artwork and photos which are a really lovely touch. The nursery are brilliant with communication, and every single person I have spoken to has been extremely friendly and professional. I am really happy with the care this nursery provides my daughter and I trust them with her fully, I couldn't recommend this nursery enough.

My son loves going to nursery and runs there every morning! If he’s happy I’m happy! The staff are all very professional and friendly. I feel at ease and have peace of mind when my son is at nursery. I am also regularly updated on all important events on the nursery!

Both of my daughters have attended Bright Horizons nursery in Cheshunt from the age of 7 months, they've been in every room (from baby room to pre-school) and have had the privilege of knowing all of the nursery carers. Myself and my partner have always been very happy with the level of care, cleanliness and attention upheld by the nursery and we would 100% recommend them to any family considering them. Bright Horizons has given both of my children the best start and they went to school very ready and eager to keep learning.

We highly recommended this setting for any parent looking to place their child in an environment which stimulates and enhances their development. At first, we had concerns about how our two-year-old son will adjust, given the move from his former nursery, which he attended since he was nine months, to Bright Horizons. However, we were pleasantly surprised how he quickly he settled and got into a routine with the support, care and integration provided by the team at Bright Horizons. They have been extremely responsive to all our queries and my husband, who is a Behavioural Teacher, highly rated the resources and curriculum provided for these young minds. As a parent, we are also comforted that our son is at ease and happy to go to Nursery and know he can trust his carers in his daytime home. The staff work extremely hard, are always pleasant and genuinely put the welfare of the children at the forefront.

I would not recommend. Lack of professionalism and inclusion and diversity.

I cannot thank the nursery staff enough for how welcome they have made my son feel. He has come such a long way with his confidence ans is so much more vocal. He loves coming into nursery and I will definitely be increasing his hours in the near future. Special thanks to certain members of staff.

I receive verbal feedback and a daily sheet each day so I know what they have been doing and what she has eaten, this is helpful.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. I found it hard to find somewhere that I felt comfortable with as my son has additional medical needs. All staff have been so welcoming and nothing is too much for them. Always a calm smiley face to greet us. They were happy to be trained on peg feeding and caring for my son on oxygen. They help us to have a ‘normal’ life and my son absolutely adores the staff in his room. He has progressed considerably since he has been there and the professionals involved with him comment on how good his nursery must be.

I look forward to my little girl progressing through the rooms. Thank you to everyone for making finding and settling my little girl into nursery so easy.

My child has settled into nursery really well. The staff have done a great job, he is happy to be dropped off in the morning to any staff member.

After having visited many nurseries, Asquith at Cheshunt clearly stood out. The facilities are modern and clean, as well as activities being well planned and varied. The staff have really got to know both my daughter and myself and my numerous questions are always answered. My daughter always comes home, telling me she has had fun at nursery.

My son began his nursery journey in the baby room under the care of two particular members of staff. I could not have asked for two better members of staff to settle him in. Drop off to nursery is one of the hardest parts as a parent, but both these staff members put me at ease every time I drop him off and when I return to pick him up, he has had a great time. The communication is exceptional and I know exactly what has happened that day. Every member of staff I have come in contact with has been warm, friendly and more importantly has a caring attitude towards both child and parent. I could not recommend this nursery enough to any parent looking for that perfect nursery!
