This is a great nursery! My daughter absolutely loves coming here and all the staff are really friendly and make me feel comfortable leaving her in their care. I would definitely recommend this nursery to a friend.

When observing my children they appear happy and relaxed. I have observed them comfortable in exploring and playing. The staff appear patient and have a great rapport with the children and myself. I believe the nursery creates a warm and nurturing environment.
I would recommend them to family members
and or friends.

I highly recommend Bright Horizons in Cheshunt. The staff members are exceptional, and always prioritise the well-being of the children. They provide frequent updates, including insightful observations, and always take the time to offer feedback at the end of the day.
My two children, aged 2 and 4,
have been attending Bright Horizons since they were around 12 months old, and they genuinely enjoy it - at times getting upset that it's not a nursery day.
I have friends whose children, of the same age, attend different nurseries and have expressed concerns about their kids being 'bored.' Fortunately, we haven't encountered this issue at Bright Horizons as various activities are offered, which keep the children engaged and contribute to their skill development.
My children have learned so much from attending and I do not doubt that this is with much thanks to the staff and their patience!

Always reassuring to know that the girls are in safe hands. The staff are enthusiastic and helpful. Kids have an amazing variety of activities. Would be nice to have a few local trips. Thank you so much.

Moved into the area recently and had no idea which nursery to go with. Had a tour and it just felt right. In the end, we are really happy we chose this nursery. Our daughter is being taken care of, having fun and eating lots of things she would never have at home! 5 stars on everything.

We’ve been so happy with our experience at Bright Horizons. My baby settled in very well in the baby room and then transitioned into the toddler room too very happily. Some of the things I’ve loved about the nursery are the activities and time outside to play. The quality of meals and snacks is very
good, and has benefited my child in developing his palette and eating skills.
His language has come on leaps and bounds too.
The staff are kind, warm and understanding of any requirements you have.

My son started in the baby room 8/9 months ago at the age of 9 months and I couldn’t be happier for picking here. He settled in so well and he’s so attached to his teachers and smiles when we talk about them - he's improved so much. He's in toddler 1 now already. They always update me throughout the
day which is so helpful as a first-time parent.

Very happy with this nursery. My daughter joined the baby room in September 2023 and she looks forward to going in every day. The staff are so attentive and friendly, my daughter has so much fun there. Each day is different ranging from arts and crafts to playing in the garden.

I’m very happy with the baby room at Bright Horizons, Cheshunt. My daughter settled in so quickly with the lovely, caring staff, who she is now attached to. She’s learning so much every day. I particularly love the amount of effort made to develop activities around different themes every week/day e.g.
they were watching little chicks hatch during the Easter period and got to hold them - naturally, my daughter came home and started pointing and quacking every time she saw a bird.

My twins thoroughly enjoy their time at Cheshunt Bright Horizons. The classrooms are clean, organised and spacious. My daughter has been attending Cheshunt Day Nursery and Preschool since October 2020. I was very nervous about going back to work after being on maternity leave during the first wave of the pandemic. The staff were very supportive from the beginning and have put myself and my daughter at ease. The rooms
are provided with lovely age-appropriate toys and activities and feels like a home away from for the children. The recent introduction of the app has been amazing! It's so lovely getting updates throughout my working day about what my daughter has been doing. All the staff are very friendly and nurturing towards the children and it's so lovely that my daughter is greeted every morning with a happy familiar face. The management team are always happy to help and answer any questions myself or my husband have to ask. My daughter really enjoys the meals provided at the nursery and I can often see she has eaten all her food from looking at the app. Brilliant nursery with a brilliant team!

I cannot recommend this nursery enough to parents who are looking for a safe nurturing and wonderfully loving place for their child. Both of my children attend the nursery and come home having had a wonderful day every single day. The daily details available in the new app about my kids means that I
can check on how they are doing when I want and be comfortable in the knowledge their education is being well looked after.

Absolutely amazing can’t fault them!
Love the app so I’m up to date with how my son is doing and eating so I’m aware for when I bring him home.
My son has grown and come on so much as a person with these guys and his speech that even the doctors were puzzled by how he has come on through these guys.

This nursery is one of the best in area! The management and staff are very professional, friendly and their mannerism is next to none. My little girl started here very shy and slow to speak. Her key worker did a brilliant job getting her settled very quickly! She has become very chatty, confident and
enjoys going in on her days. This was a big relief and plus for me as the transition seems so effortless. The consistency of having the same key worker most of the time when dropping and picking her up was very reassuring for me. I would recommend this nursery with my eyes closed. They embrace diversity and inclusiveness which was again a big positive for me and I am very grateful to the manager and the staff for their kind support.Please don't hesitate to give your little one the best start. Bright Horizons Cheshunt Day Nursery and Preschool has been a life saver for my family. As a working mum, I've had so much peace of mind, knowing my child will receive the best loving and tender care. The staff is thoughtful, caring and very professional and they have given my daughter so much love
and attention. The facilities are great, clean and the kids have everything they need. Overall, I've been really happy for the past three years and sad to see my child leave as we are moving house in a different area.

My second child currently attends Bright Horizons and is in the Nursery room. I have always been happy with the standard of the nursery and both my children really enjoyed the setting. The layout of the nursery is great, the garden facilities are good all year round, the menu has a lot of choices and
my children learned so much whilst they were there towards their development! The staff become like a little family, both of my children have such lovely memories at the nursery with regular reports on their development recorded in folders. Given that the past year has been difficult, the nursery made it easy to adapt to the changes and have handled the adjustments extremely well, it has kept that bit of normality for my little one whilst they are there. I have always found the staff extremely approachable, easy to deal with and flexible with any requests - the nursery definitely lives up to its standards and I will be sad when the time comes for my little one to leave!!

My husband and I are very happy with this nursery. We were nervous to send our child as he had never left me and had some speech delay. Our son enjoys nursery and always comes out with a big smile. He has built a lovely relationship with his key worker who is very helpful and available on the few occasions
that I’ve called to ask a question. His speech has really come on and his confidence has grown. I’m glad we picked this nursery.

My son started at Bright Horizons Cheshunt Day Nursery a few months ago. The decision to transition him into a nursery environment before starting school was very nerve-wracking for me - I am used to being around him 24/7! I mentioned my worries to his room leader and the management and was put at ease
instantly. The staff really care about the children they look after and play a key part in aiding your child's development, both socially and academically. They will go out of their way to answer any questions you may have. Since attending, I have noticed my son really come along with his talking, he is now putting more sentences together and enjoys role-playing with his toys. He seems very happy when he comes home and I love reading his daily feedback sheets. Thank you for being there for my little man!

Amelia is the proud Nursery Manager of Bright Horizons Cheshunt. With over seven years of dedicated leadership in Early Years Education and Care, and a rewarding twenty-year career in the early years sector, she brings both extensive experience and a deep passion for nurturing young minds.


She is wholeheartedly committed to supporting each child's unique learning and development journey, ensuring they thrive and make meaningful progress through the Bright Horizons Nurture Approach and Heart Values.


Amelia is equally devoted to empowering her team to excel as early years practitioners, fostering a culture of excellence in delivering high-quality education and care.


She looks forward to welcoming families to the nursery, where every child’s growth and happiness are at the heart of everything they do.

Maxine

Maxine

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Maxine brings 30 years of invaluable experience in childcare to her role. Her journey began as a registered childminder while raising her own children, later transitioning to working closely with children with additional needs. For the past five years, she has been a proud and dedicated member of the nursery management team.


Holding a Level 3 qualification, Maxine also serves as the nursery’s Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo), a position that reflects her deep passion for supporting children with special educational needs.


She is profoundly committed to the early years sector and takes immense joy in seeing the Heart Values come to life each day, fostering positive experiences for both the children and the dedicated nursery team.
