Bright Horizons Cheshunt Day Nursery and Preschool

My 2 little ones have attended the Cheshunt BH from 12ms and we hold the nursery in very high regard. The facilities have always been excellent, with thoughtfully designed spaces that are perfectly suited to each age group. What has really stood out is that, even though the nursery never seems to need updating, they are constantly making small improvements / enhancements. It's clear that a great deal of care and thought goes into continually providing the best possible environment for the kids. One of the most reassuring things has been the continuity of the staff. Some of the team members who cared for our eldest, who is now nearly 6, are still there today. It says so much about the nursery, you can genuinely feel that it's a place filled with happy, caring & dedicated people. We're going to miss everyone dearly and would never have left if we weren't moving to another area. Thx to every single member of the team for the care and support you have given our kids. We're very grateful x

Both my children have attended Bright Horizons in Cheshunt and I cannot rate them highly enough. My new baby, who has recently joined has had an amazing settle and is already at home with the staff and his environment. The managers efficiently got me set up and were very supportive, and the staff welcomed my child with so much kindness and warmth - he's always happy when I pick him up and is calm and relaxed. I also find the staff really approachable and work well as a team. I would recommend this nursery for anyone who lives locally.

My daughter attends nursery here and her speech has come a long way. She is very happy here and im comfortable with the staff ensuring they are doing the best for my child. I highly reccommend Bright horizons Cheshunt!

We've been really happy with the care and support our son has received at the nursery. The staff are kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in the children's development and wellbeing. Our son has grown in confidence, social skills, and independence since starting here, and he looks forward to going each day.

I cannot recommend Cheshunt Bright Horizons enough. My daughter has been with Bright Horizons for a full year now. Her settling in sessions were so helpful, and she is now at a place where she loves going in. The staff are all so kind, and even staff who don't work in my daughter's nursery room know her by name and have built a bond with her. They have helped develop her speech, appetite, social skills and we cannot be more grateful for the care and love they show her. My daughter previously had severe dairy allergies when she first started, and they are so diligent with this and were so supportive when she was working through the milk ladder. We were never concerned about her allergies there as we were sure she was in safe hands. Thank you to all the staff at Cheshunt Bright Horizons, you really are heroes!

You have realised that the administrator has wrongly refused to apply and claim early years the funding, whether this was intentional or not, I can't say. Deadline to claim funding is 4th of March code provided 2nd of February

But instead of accepting that you were wrong and made amends you have turned to lying and bullying me into paying full fees, it is very shameful and not the type of culture you should encourage in your organisation, because sooner or later you will experience the same behaviour amongst yourselves.

And there is a possibility that you have claimed the funds and lied about not claiming it, plus requesting I make full payment on top. That is fraud.

All the staff at the nursery have been amazing and we have always felt like Bright Horizons is the best place for her, they have always supported our wishes and gone out of their way for her and we have never had any complaints about her care. We have recommended all our friends to Bright Horizons and they are all also so happy with it.

This is an excellent nursery. My son attended here from age 3 onwards in preschool 1 and loved it. I have now sent my 2-year-old daughter here who is in nursery. She has settled in so well and loves the staff in her room. It is a great feeling knowing that your child is happy and well looked after and staff really do go above and beyond. It is great getting the updates on her day in the app and the feedback from staff on pick-up. It is such a caring place and I would highly recommend it.

Bright Horizons Cheshunt Day Nursery and Preschool is exceptional. The support of the team, communication throughout the day via their app and at drop-off and collection is second to none. The quality of the food and the care taken to keep me informed is excellent in regard to my daughters’ eating habits and their progress alongside the other children to learn fundamental skills which empower them to help themselves and enjoy meals. I love the flexibility of drop-off times and collection and attitude towards parents is so understanding and caring.

My son started going to this nursery when was 9 months old. I didn’t have any problems at all. They are very professional and look after my son well. They focus on his development and teach him different things. I'm very happy with everyone in Bright Horizon Cheshunt Day Nursery and Preschool.

My son has been attending this nursery since the age of 10 months, so we have experience of baby room, toddler room, nursery and preschool. I must say, this nursery has been excellent and preschool has been the most outstanding of all classes along with baby room. We also feel secure, sure and my son has made good relationships with carers and friends and has good social progress. We are very pleased. Food is also generally very good and wish I knew what magic they weave to get my son to eat the variety he does in nursery!

Only negative comment is that the front gate is often broken/stuck open.

I would most happily recommend this nursery to friends with children. The staff here are very friendly and ensure the children are well looked after which, as a parent, takes a lot of stress off your mind. They have helped my child settle into the nursery seamlessly and can see the positive impact it has had in my child's development.

My son has attended the nursery since he was 11 months old and is now 3. He has therefore been in three different classrooms since joining. The nursery has always had great facilities and the staff have always been very caring. Our son is happy at the end of his day at nursery and has great stories to tell about what he has learnt, played with and has eaten. We are particularly happy with the teachers in his current classroom who are always welcoming, happy and give informed feedback at the end of the day.

My son has been attending the nursery for a year and I am so happy with the staff and his progress. All staff have shown my son nothing but kindness, patience and support. I would highly recommend this nursery!

My experience with Bright Horizons Cheshunt Day Nursery and Preschool began five years ago with my eldest son who absolutely loved the nursery and was more than ready for school by the time he left. My youngest is now in the toddler 2 room and enjoys the variety of activities they have every day and has made great bonds with the staff and other children. The nursery teaches independence alongside a varied curriculum. After a slight decline, the nursery and its management have improved greatly over the past two years and I would recommend it to other families.
