Shooting Stars Nurseries at Hinckley

This is such a lovely and supportive nursery. They are so good at communicating and supporting all of my son's educational and emotional needs in and out of the nursery. My son has a lovely bond with his key worker, who is very informative. He is so happy to go to nursery, and we have watched his confidence blossom over the time he has attended. I think we will all miss Shooting Stars a lot when he goes to school.

Since our son started nursery in September, he has come on leaps and bounds. His confidence has grown so much with every passing week. There is no better feeling than seeing him run excitedly to the door, waving to his friends and key people. We love being able to see what he gets up to on the app and on the camera. We recommend the nursery to all family and friends. The staff and facilities are amazing! Thank you for being the best for our son.

Wonderful staff providing excellent care. My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery, and it’s amazing seeing how well she has developed since she started. We are really grateful to every member of the team who has made her nursery experience a positive one.

My first child started earlier this year when I went back to work. The staff couldn't have been more supportive of my daughter and me during this transition. The building and garden are lovely. I felt secure with the communication I recieved daily from the nursery on the apps and at handover. Would 100% recommend.

Very clean and welcoming. Both my children have attended this nursery. The youngest is in the preschool room and loves it!

Would recommend this nursery to everyone! My son has attended since 9-months-old and has always been very happy with their care. They communicate his development well and keep me updated too. The rooms are tailored to each age group and my little one loves it!

Our son is incredibly settled and happy at Shooting Stars, and this is a credit to the wonderful team there, especially those in the baby room and his keyworker. We are really impressed with the level of care he receives, and the environment created for play and learning is incredible - you can see why there are so many positives! The nursery has been really supportive of our son’s dietary needs too, and I still take such comfort from being able to check in on his day and see what they’re up to. We would wholeheartedly recommend this nursery.

We will be so sad to leave! I would just like to say thank you to you and all the wonderful staff for giving her such a wonderful nursery experience. As a single mother to an only child, I cannot overstate the value in the smiles and familiarity we have received from everyone, even staff that aren’t directly involved. You have all become like an extended family to us.

Not once have I felt uncomfortable about leaving her in your care. Not once has she complained or resisted attending your setting. She always comes home happy and full of information about her day, and I feel confident that you have prepared her for school and the world at large as best you possibly can.

She has attended since she was 11 months old and moved through the rooms, loving each one and forging wonderful relationships with staff and other children along the way.

My daughter has the time of her life at Shooting Stars, Hinckley. She joined Pre School 1 and felt at home immediately, which was all down to the staff working in her room. I would not hesitate to recommend it. The range of activities they complete is fantastic, both indoors and outdoors. My daughter's confidence and abilities have improved immensely since starting just over six months ago, yet she is also given space to express herself, and her own likes and dislikes. Five stars!

The team at Shooting Stars Hinckley are brilliant - I cannot praise them enough. My son loves going to nursery and is so happy and comfortable with the team. He’s developing so well and I would highly recommend them.

Great nursery. Brilliant, caring staff, who have had our children since they were in the baby room at 12-months through to today (4 years old). Highly recommend - one of the best decisions we’ve made sending our children here.

Communication is effective and I’m always aware of what he’s done during the day and anything I need to provide. I can always check in on the cameras if I’m ever feeling unsure too! Everyone takes such good care of him and it makes me comfortable knowing he's in great hands all day.

Shooting Stars is great, both our children are super happy to go, and we never have any trouble at drop off, and we know they are going to have the best time on their days in nursery. So glad we chose to send them there. And to top it off the way they dealt with the covid situation was amazing and I don't think they could have handled it better, we were in constant contact even when the children weren't attending.

This is a fantastic nursery with friendly, caring staff providing a nurturing environment. They have great indoor and outdoor resources offering a stimulating and safe environment for the children. They also have the benefit of two gardens for the separate age groups to play and explore safely. The nursery offers a good variety of food which I believe is cooked fresh on site. They have (in my opinion) a good risk assessment and processes in place in regards to COVID and I feel content that my children are safe and well looked after there.

Highly recommended to anyone who is going to send their children.

Shooting Stars is a great nursery and my little boy has been going there for one and a half days years now. I chose this nursery as it has a lovely feel to it, all the staff are very friendly and knowledgable, and there are lots of activities to help children learn and develop. Most importantly, they genuinely care for my little boy and he loves them so much. This nursery really supported parents during the lockdown and kept our child’s place without fee whilst keeping us updated regularly with any updates. My little boy was so excited to go back and still comes out every day with a huge smile on his face. I feel very lucky to have found this nursery and the great people who work there!

My daughter has had the most amazing time at Shooting Stars Nursery. She wakes up each morning excited to be with her friends, learning, playing and totally enjoying herself. The Nursery staff are truly amazing, understanding my daughter's strengths and weaknesses and knowing exactly how to bring the best out of her. She has developed brilliantly throughout her years at the Nursery, following a structured progression through the 'classes', getting to know each room and teacher and feeling totally relaxed and involved in every activity. She enjoys the creative activities of painting, role play, building, the more academic type activities of recognising numbers and letters, loves to be outdoors in the messy play and obstacles courses and so so so much more which the Nursery offers her. My son now joins her at the Nursery where he is also showing the same excitement and development which my daughter did, really bonding with the Nursery staff and feeling part of the Nursery family.

Like many parents, I struggled with the idea of leaving my son with strangers, I visited many nurseries but the first time I went to Shooting Stars and met the women who worked in pre-school 1 I knew I had found the right place. Their warmth and genuine care for all the children under their supervision is obvious to see and my son has blossomed in their care. He looks forward to going to nursery, talks about 2 members of staff, in particular, all of the time and even occasionally cries when he has to come away from nursery with Mummy. At every step, these women have supported and reassured me and my son’s obvious happiness and development speak volumes for the care that he receives. I know I made the right choice for my son’s childcare and I would encourage anyone to go and meet the incredible staff here and judge for themselves.
