Cherubins is a bright and spacious nursery located in the centre of Ladywell. The newly refurbished building provides a welcoming, safe and stimulating environment for children aged three months to five years.

Cherubins offers a very secure environment with a state of the art Digital CCTV system. There are seven bright and spacious rooms and a large outdoor area that has a range of playground equipment to encourage physical and learning development. The staff are caring and professional and have the relevant qualifications and experience to ensure the best quality childcare is provided.

A breakfast and after school club service are available and free parking is offered for registered parents.

We find Cherubins a very good nursery. First child started there almost 3 years ago and younger sibling just recently. Although the staff come and go, management is the same and some staff even return (which is a positive sign). They are all very caring and knowledgeable. We feel safe to leave our children
in their care and know they are learning and protected. The management has also always been accommodating of our needs. The premises are impressive, the garden area is of good quality, the food is nutritious. We feel part of the nursery as we are involved in every part of the way, from menu designing to days out. Monthly newsletters communications make us feel included and on top of subjects and themes being discussed. From discussing with other groups of parents, we feel lucky to have found such a positive setting.

My daughter has been enrolled at Cherubins Day Nursery for the past two years. The support our family has received is comparable to none. The nursery is extremely accommodating with my schedule and always happy to book my daughter in at the last minute. What we love the most about Cherubins are the
friendships we have made with other parents and the wonderful children who attend.

All nursery staff, without exception, gave us a great welcome.
Our key worker has been very patient and friendly with our little one to make him feel safe and happy. Our son has a variety of toys to play with, activities to engage with and other children to observe and play with. The staff are caring
and informative and our son really enjoys his time at the nursery.

Really happy with the Nursery and the level of care provided. Very convenient location and staff are helpful and caring. Parents and children made to feel very welcome and we feel that our child not only enjoys attending but gets a lot out of the care and instruction provided.

Cherubins is a lovely nursery where the children are at the centre of everything they do. The staff are very caring and loving towards the children. The food provided for the children is very good, healthy and varied.

My daughter has been attending Cherubins since she was 5 months old. The experience we have had over the past 9 months has been absolutely fantastic. The key to our positive experience is due primarily to the wonderful staff who we have found to be caring, friendly and informative. There are three regular
staff members that look after the babies/infants in my daughters' age group and it's really reassuring having that continuity, especially at the age where the routine can change quite often!


The nursery has a real 'happy' feel to it and we feel it has allowed our daughter to develop in a loving environment. The rooms are colourful and spacious with plenty of activities (sand, toys, books, slide and climbing frame). There is good outside space. You also receive daily emails detailing your child's activities (eg painting, messy play, singing), food, naps and nappies (!)


N.B. My child is still in the youngest age group so I can't comment on the older groups.

Staff are very encouraging towards the children's learning. My son started at Cherubins and has now gone on to main school. By the time he left Cherubins Nursery, he was able to write his name, count to 20 and know his ABC. I now have a 2 year old at Cherubins. The standards have not dropped at all.
They teach the kids 100%. I'm so happy.

The nursery has been where my son has grown up and developed as a young boy from 10 months old. I have always considered the way the staff take care of him and how they ensure his safety at all times. I would recommend this nursery as it is great with space. A large garden for playing and learning and
great at reviewing a child's development and seeing where they have achieved their milestones. As a parent, it helps to reassure me that my son has had the best start before school.

Staff are very good and help when I have any problems. Shed for putting your buggy in needs to be bigger and also some form of work that kids can do at home from the nursery would be very good.

My son attends the after school club and really enjoys going. He comes home talking about what he has done and made and looks forward to returning. He also talks highly about the members of staff and I find them easy to talk to with any issues.
