Bright Horizons Richmond Day Nursery and Preschool provides high-quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

This purpose-built nursery offers four well-resourced rooms and a large outdoor area, including a 'Cooking Room', a 'Literacy Lounge' and 'Discovery Room' for children to play, learn and discover the world around them.

The Forest School allows the children to extend their learning into the outdoors where they can expand their imaginations, gain confidence and learn new skills. They especially enjoy getting creative in the mud kitchen.

Their unique Healthy Hearts and Minds activities provide inspirational and engaging learning experiences using the innovative and well established Boogie Mites and myHappymind programmes.

An enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.

In addition, your child will also love the nursery's extra-curricular Spanish lessons.

The setting is located close to Richmond town centre with good transport links into central London.

The fees include meals and snacks, branded nappies, nappy cream, bottles and formula baby milk as appropriate.

The staff are very caring towards your child. The menu offered is varied and nutritious. Staff follow schedules for babies when made clear, my daughter loves coming into nursery.

Wonderful and caring staff accommodating all our needs. My son loves going to nursery. When he was sick and couldn't go, he was very unhappy. The nurses are really lovely and when picking my son up, I can be sure that he has been well looked after.

Our daughter joined the nursery at 11 months and the standard of care has been excellent. The staff are all engaged and clearly really enjoy working with the children. The variety of activities organised for the children over the course of a week is great, focusing on fun activities, relationships and
development. Plenty of time is also set aside for outside and other physical 'play'. Engagement with the parents has been excellent - both from the nursery management and from key workers themselves. I feel as though I am kept up-to-date with my daughter's day-to-day activities as well as progress against her key stage milestones. I was particularly keen that my daughter was given a healthy and varied diet, and the on-site chef works hard to provide a wide selection of meals on a changing menu. Any specific requests have also been accommodated easily.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. Not only is my child delighted everyday to go but the team are so kind and welcoming it feels like a family. The management are professional yet kind, the staff are kind and hard working. All the children seem very happy. The nursery is really clean, the facilities
are great and they have lots of wide activities to stimulate the children. After having experience nurseries and child minders at other times I am delighted my son is here. 10 out of 10!

I am very happy with how my niece is looked after at Richmond Day Nursery. She is very happy here and the staff are great. The nursery has great resources for the children, they are always happy when i pick her up. I would massively recommend this nursery to parents in Richmond.

My children learn a lot from nursery. Staff are caring and willing to help all children in need and help them build their own confidence. My child has changed a lot in a good way since he came here. Lovely staff and feeling good to come in, this is important as young children need that when they are

The nursery is run superbly, the staff know my granddaughter very well and she loves it at the nursery. The key workers are brilliant and were very hard with great activities and good planning. My son has been attending Bright Horizons Richmond since he was 1 year old. They helped me a lot with his development both physical and intellectual, he was a late walker and they helped him a lot until he started to walk. He likes going to the nursery and loves everyone there. The staff are all professionals
and friendly, my son is happy and learning and i couldn't ask for more.

My granddaughter has developed amazingly since she has joined the nursery. She is so happy as always and has learnt so much from the staff. A credit to the nursery. The nursery is very clean and tidy all the times and they do great activities all the time. She loves it!!!!

Nice, friendly, small nursery near our house. Staff are super - made us all feel welcome from day 1. My son (one year old) loves it! Especially outdoors. Priced reasonably for a London nursery, especially given nappies and food included. Note the food is varied, homemade and delicious. Very minor issues
managed well immediately and did not recur. Mostly local families, so friendships easy to maintain.

Both my children attend this nursery. The staff are very caring and my children enjoy their time at nursery. There are lots of activities going on and they particularly enjoy messy play. The garden has great water play and a huge sand pit as well as plenty of trikes and a mud kitchen.

When searching for a nursery for my eldest son I visited 8 nurseries, including Kidsunlimited in Richmond. Within minutes I knew this was the place for my son and I have not been proved wrong. He is a sensitive little guy and he was been looked after so well all the way from joining at 11 months and
is still there at almost 3. The staff are incredibly caring and really do their best to provide the best care needed for your individual child - from providing as much settling as required when joining or transitioning rooms all the way through to encouraging independence and confidence with potty training. When my second son was born I had no hesitation signing him up and the settling process for him was fantastic just because I knew what good hands he would be in.

I'm really happy with the care my son receives at the nursery. The staff are really caring and seem to love my little boy as much as I do! I feel really comfortable leaving him in their capable hands. He has learned and developed so much since going to the nursery for the past year and he always has
a big smile on his face when I arrive to pick him up (and sometimes doesn't want to go home!) I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone.

I've got both my girls at KU Richmond; the first started when she was 11 months old and is now nearly 3. The second started at 10 months.


Both children LOVE the nursery, they love the staff and the warm friendly environment. It feels safe, imaginative, loving and adventurous - everything you want

from a nursery. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

My daughter has been at the nursery for a year now and she LOVES it. The staff take such good care of the children and build a lovely relationship with them. I have always found the staff to be very friendly and caring and organise lots of fun activities. The garden and the discovery room are a great
asset to keep the children entertained too. The food is another plus point with a varied and balanced menu. The staff keep a detailed log book on the child's personal, social and emotional development and cross match this with their key stages of learning. We feel that our daughter has really benefited from her time at the nursery, and as working parents it is such a relief to know she is being so well looked after.

Wonderfully attentive and friendly staff who give the impression that they care about your child as much as you do. My daughter was nine months old when she started at Kids Unlimited Richmond and she settled incredibly quickly due to the strong bonds she made with the staff and the lengths they went
to to make her feel safe and secure. The facilities are excellent as there are lots of rooms to explore as well as plenty to do and look at. I love it when I pick my daughter up and there is sand on her shoes and she is covered in paint because it means she has had a fantastic day of messy activities I wouldn't do with her at home.

My son has been going to Kids Unlimited for a year (he started when he was one) and it has been such a wonderful experience for us all. I was so nervous when I returned to work after maternity leave and felt very lucky to have such attentive and caring people looking after him. He really gets so much
out of nursery now and it's great to see how much he has developed and how much he loves his little friends and carers. I'm currently on maternity leave again and I have no anxieties about sending my daughter there when I return to work.

My daughter has been there since she was 6 months, she's now nearly 2 and she has learnt so much there. She loves the teachers and all her little friends. They have a variety of activities, from singing, dancing, baking, messy play and trips to the supermarket, pet shop and play ground.

My little one hops of joyful when I let her know that the next day she will go to the nursery. When we go to pick her up, she does not want to leave. And I don't think there is a better sign that indicates how much she enjoys this place. The staff is really friendly and helpful. They listen all your
requirements and really care about the kids.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I hold a Level 3 Qualification in Childcare and Education and I have worked with Bright Horizons for 3 years. I have a great passion for ensuring that all children within our care are provided with a safe, caring and fun learning environment. I really enjoy working alongside our manager to provide staff with learning opportunities and supporting them to be strong and enthusiastic when delivering care and activities to children. As part of my role, I like to ensure that all staff are happy because happy staff results in happy children. As a parent myself I understand how important it is to ensure that your children are happy and safe whilst in their daycare environment. It is important for us at Richmond Nursery that you have confidence and reassurance knowing that your children are receiving the care and education they deserve to help them grow.
