View Full Details of Bright Horizons Richmond Day Nursery and PreschoolReally happy with everything - especially continuing care + interest in my child even though he is no longer here.
We've been very happy with the nursery for both of my children. The staff are great.
Both our children attend the nursery and we could not be happier of our choice of the nursery. The staff is amazing and our daughters love coming to nursery - thanks for everything.
I am very happy with the caring and overeall overseeing/teaching provided to my daughter. She is happy, so we are.
We had an amazing Mother's Day experience in the Preschool room. The activities that the children did leading up to the parent's (mother's invite) were very thought out and we received some lovely cards and art work that the staff had put a lot of effort in to prepare. It was a very welcoming afternoon and very natural - great to see how the children interact with each other and behave in the nursery - great insight. Thank you!
A fantastic nursery with wonderful staff. The activities provided are fun and thoughtful and the staff build lovely connections with the children. The food served is nutritious and our kids enjoy all meals provided. It's particularly great when they hold session where the children help prepare the food.
After long research in the neighbourhood, we were lucky to find Bright Horizons Richmond Day Nursery and Preschool during their open day. The staff are warm, companionable and also informative, which is very important to us since our daughter is a little shy. Both the inside and the garden of the facility are large and well-equipped with toys, books and other activities that are interesting for children. The food must be good and tasty because my child eats without complaining, even though she is normally picky. It has been almost four months since she started but I can express my satisfaction so far.
We love the nursery. Amazing staff, nice facilities, good, varied food. I would always be happy sending my kid here. Look out for one member of staff in Babies, she is exceptional. They treat your child like they are theirs.
My son started the nursery at 9 months old and attends three days a week. He is now just under 2 and attends the baby room which is on the ground floor and has access to the garden. It's a beautiful, large, airy room with large windows looking out to the garden. It's a wide open space inside with lots of allocated areas of different activities. They even have a slide which is my son's favourite. I always feel reassured knowing my son is in a safe environment with great meals and looked after so well, all day by the best team. The staff are warm and approachable and very supportive. There are regular nappy checks and you can see the progress on the app. My son's clothes are changed and he comes home very clean after a very busy day and the clothes are in his bag to be cleaned and a clean nappy. 10/10 from us. The management team are excellent at keeping parents updated and sharing news and events. Also, you have a daily record to access online. A wonderful nursery. Great experience.
My 17-month-old daughter has been attending the nursery for 8 months now and the experience so far has been excellent. All the staff put effort into listening to the families. My daughter has been thriving there developing her social skills significantly in the past 8 months. What I appreciate in particular is that they give lots of encouragement to the babies. The atmosphere is nurturing and the daily activities are very stimulating.
My daughter has been attending Bright Horizons Richmond for over a year and we are really happy with the nursery. The staff are kind and helpful, making sure my child feels welcome every morning. The facility is good, with large rooms and different stations, so the kids can have diverse playing experiences during the day, including the outside area. The fact that my daughter asks to go to nursery in the morning and her face of enjoyment at the end of each day, is good that she is in a caring environment.
My daughter has attended Bright Horizons Richmond for the past five months, starting when she was five and a half months old. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and the environment. My daughter is safe and happy on a daily basis, enjoys a huge range of activities that I wouldn’t ordinarily be able to provide, and adores her key worker and the other staff, who equally show her a level of care and love that I didn’t expect. Where there have been minor accidents, I have been informed immediately, and appropriate action is taken by the nursery. The app is kept up to date with her food intake, sleep cycles and nappy changes, which is invaluable. As a first-time mum, I’ve also been supported by the team with her weaning journey, which has been incredibly helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery; we have found it to be excellent.
My daughter has been with Bright Horizon Richmond for over two years now and we are overall very happy about it. They open from 7.30 to 18.30 which is perfect for busy working parents. A typical day is usually a mixture of learning, playing and outdoor or sports activities. My daughter loves their food and I trust they provide balanced and nutritious diets. I recommend it to families in the local area.
You have easy access to all the staff and management team. My son really enjoys going there, they have big rooms and a garden (they use every day). He is getting big support with his learning there and at home you notice his development.
We’ve had an excellent experience at Bright Horizons, Richmond. Our son has been going since he was 1 year old and continues to thrive and our daughter is set to start in September. The staff are very friendly and caring, going out of their way to create a fun and exciting learning environment throughout all the different rooms - ‘Science Week’ being a particular highlight for my son along with the addition of a P.E. class. We’re very happy!
The nursery provides a great environment for the development of my child. The staff are friendly and professional, offering a diversity of activities throughout the day, indoor and outdoor. The food is prepared and cooked onsite with a varied menu. The extended opening hours allows flexibility for working parents. The fees are quite high, mainly due to the current cost crisis the UK is facing.
The nursery staff have been incredibly supportive and are wonderful with my child. The range of daily activities are brilliant and I have really noticed a positive trend in my son's development. I couldn't recommend the setting enough.
Awful experience at this nursery. Firstly, your child will be basically breathing fumes from the 6-lane road all day as the nursery did not even bother to build a proper fence as "this is not an OFSTED requirement" according to Management. Secondly, they organised an event where a parent came to nursery to read books on LGBT values to children as young as 3 without even notifying parents in advance. Imagine your child being put in a room with a stranger without any background checks who will be reading them "diversity" books without your prior knowledge and without an opportunity to opt-out. There is no guarantee they will not be inviting a drag queen next time without telling parents. Only go here if you have zero other options and are desperate for childcare.
Our child has grown in leaps and bounds since joining Bright Horizons, Richmond. The staff are kind, clever and work well together as a team. Each adult goes out of their way to ensure all of the children are taken care of. This is evident by their clear, constant communication. Staff work with parents to ensure personal, social and emotional needs are met. In addition to that, there is a daily focus on language and physical development. They have recently added sports sessions for the children as well. Bumps and scrapes have naturally occurred as our child is still finding his footing. If there is ever an accident the staff are sure to communicate on the day of, either with a phone call or a chat at pick up, with appropriate paperwork kept up to date. We could not be happier with our choice to enrol our son at Bright Horizons, Richmond.
Great nursery with lots of lovely staff and under the most recent manager and post covid things have really settled down. I've loved the introduction of more activities recently like football and they cook and follow a syllabus of learning. Our son is always happy and exhausted after an action packed day with a variety of activities.
