The Meadows Pre School

Our daughter has been going to The Meadows for over a year now, and I can not praise the staff and facilities enough. From the very beginning, they were supportive of both my child and me (including phone calls to reassure me she was ok when first starting, and even a 'first day's pack for me containing a tea bag and tissues!). She has made amazing progress since attending in many areas, including her confidence, speech, motor skills and social skills. She enjoys every day, and she completes a range of engaging and stimulating activities. I love how 'outdoorsy it is, where they encourage the children to play outside, get muddy, and they even go for outings to the woods. The staff have adapted brilliantly to every challenge Covid restrictions have thrown their way, and I have felt confident continuing to send her in during these times. We are now having to increase the sessions she attends as she enjoys being there so much!

My daughter spent two years at Meadows Pre -School, the staff are very caring and friendly. The setting is amazing with lots of fantastic resources that inspired my daughter's curiosity for learning.

Our daughter attended Meadows for two years, from age 2 - 4 years old. After viewing multiple pre-schools and nurseries we quickly realised that we wouldn't find another local pre-school that would compare to Meadows. She settled in lovely and her teachers became like family. We were kept up to date via an online portal with pictures of her at pre-school and explaining what she had been doing. This was such a lovely touch as we always looked forward to the updates. All the staff were brilliant with her, as she arrived a very shy 2-year old that had never left our side to an outgoing, confident little girl ready for big school. We picked her up daily covered in mud or paint.. (I would be worried if she wasn't!) Thanks to all the staff at Meadows and their hard work, our daughter has just started reception and has settled beautifully. Her baby brother has started attending the baby room at Meadows and we have no doubt that he will love it just as much as his big sister. Thank you, Meadows!
