A welcoming and happy nursery in Hatch End

Hatch End Day Nursery and Preschool offers all-inclusive quality daytime childcare services to children three months to 5 years within the quiet suburbs of Hatch End and Pinner in North West London.

An enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond. With specially designed and planned room is filled with age appropriate resources and equipment. Each room is furnished with premium quality, handmade wooden furniture and play equipment from Community Playthings appropriate for each age group. They have installed some amazing ICT equipment for their preschoolers, such as a touchscreen computer and interactive SMART board, which encourage communication, language and literacy skills.

The adventure garden develops the children’s learning and physical exercise in new and stimulating ways. A dedicated, enclosed and safe area for the babies includes a tipi, up and under bridge with mirrored sides, stage area and soft Astro Turf. For the older children, there is a climbing frame, racetrack for trikes, nature and planting area, water feature, stage area, and sand pit.

With all-inclusive fees, which means you have less to pack on a busy morning, onsite meals are prepared with nutrition in mind. From healthy lunches and snacks to your chosen branded nappies and wipes included in the fees. The kitchen holds a 5* EHO rating for food safety and hygiene and a Good Ofsted rating.

Hatch End Nursery, is an amazing nurturing environment. Our 4-year-old has been with Bright Horizons since she was 6 months old and prior to this my older daughter was also with Bright Horizons.
The staff are caring, they have excellent communication channels, the activities are stimulating and educational
for all the children. A fantastic place all round!

My daughter started when she was four months old only, so it was very difficult to see her off every day, but the staff and the entire team are just so warm and supportive. The manager and certain members of staff are my lifesavers along with all the others who welcome my daughter every day. They ensured
that the settling-in was smooth and comforted me as well. The daily updates about her everyday developments are a bonus, even though it must be so difficult to keep track of everything. It is just so heartwarming to see how they all take care of my daughter and involve her in activities. I can see a positive change in her, and she has already started responding to many more activities. The personalised attention is commendable. I can not thank the team enough for the secure environment they provided for my daughter. Thanks to everyone on the team!

Hatch End Bright Horizons is amazing. The facilities, the activities for the children, the home-cooked meals, the wonderful outside spaces. However, best of all, and at the heart of it, is the wonderful staff. They go above and beyond to look after the children, and shower them with kindness, support,
encouragement and a sense of fun and safety. My child always skips out, and has been there since he was 10 months. Now 2.5 years. I couldn’t recommend it more highly and thank them all profusely for making this working mum (and working dad) feel less guilty about work, and assured that her child is in safe and caring hands.

Can't recommend this nursery enough! Having had two girls at this nursery at different times (one current) I feel the love and care they have for the children is amazing!
The staff and management are brilliant, always accommodating with last-minute extra days, we are kept up to date with the app and
they are always quick to answer the phones and reply to emails!
The staff in all the rooms are fabulous, they nurture and develop the kids to an amazing standard, treating each one individually!

Our son loves nursery so much he lights up when he sees his key workers. He has grown so much being there, has a lot of confidence and chooses social interaction around others quickly. His education is coming on very nicely too. I feel he is in a safe environment and can account for his days at nursery.

My grandson is very happy at Bright Horizons. He loves the staff and goes into the nursery with a smiley face and is greeted with a great welcome by members of staff in these difficult times of Covid19. He's in 'early years' and has been taught to play with others, dance, sing, paint and to enjoy everything
he does. The staff give good information and instruction to the children and lead by example and experience with bucket loads of encouragement. The management is excellent in dealing and organising the staff and children and take great care of them all. The food is very good, and diets are looked after for each child Hatch End Nursery have structure great motivation encouraged by management, teamwork and camaraderie.

Bright Horizons is a fantastic nursery with the most loveliest staff and manager. My son has been here over one and a half years and every time I collect him he is so happy and definitely feels at home here. The nursery overall is wonderful, and what contributes to this substantially is the staff. All the staff, from those who care for the children to those who support are incredibly caring. When I drop off my daughter, I never think twice about whether she will be well looked after. The area for improvement
would be the value for money. There is no app, the staff are given dated technology, ie. cameras. The lighting in the car park is awful and likely to cause injury and damage soon. The amazing staff do what they can with the provisions, but they and the children deserve a lot more.

The manager of Bright Horizons Hatch End Day Nursery is fantastic. She is very approachable and helpful.


The nursery room key workers are great with my son, always encouraging him and helping him to build his confidence. They are always on hand with any queries I may have, and happy to answer. They

are always happy to help with things we have implemented at home i.e. toilet training.


I cannot say enough wonderful things about the nursery - facilities, and staff, and how helpful and encouraging they always are. Also, with the current climate and COVID-19 related way of living currently, they are always helpful with what they have implemented, following current government guidance, and constantly in contact when anything changes.

My son settled in very quickly and is very happy at the nursery. The management team have been very helpful and attentive. My son started nursery when he was 13 months old and settled in very quickly into his new nursery at Asquith Pinner. He enjoys coming to the nursery. It is a feel at home environment and the staff are very friendly and dedicated.
The staff and management are really welcoming and show great care. I
feel confident leaving my son at the nursery knowing he is in good hands.
He has improved in his eating as he was a fussy eater and they encourage healthy eating.
His confidence level grew and he started to speak new words after starting nursery.
Baby room, toddler room and the outdoor area are very clean and tidy, I have always noticed that the staff takes extra care to ensure children are happy and settled.
Thank you to all the wonderful staff/ management for their support. I would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents
