Overall Experience

We have been so pleased with Yellow Dot. When our son started in 2015, we have seen him grow into such a lovely little boy and Yellow Dot has contributed to this and he has learnt so much. The staff in every room have always been so good and management have always been so approachable. His brother has now joined and loving it as much as his big brother.

Overall Experience
This is really a general review of the nursery over the time my son has attended Yellow Dot in Andover.
All the staff are friendly and welcoming and I feel reassured that my child is being well looked after when it is not easy leaving them.

I love the fact that they also utilise all the facilities around them, adding to the children's learning, with visits to the library, pet shop and trips on the bus and train.

Overall Experience

Our daughter has been coming to Yellow Dot Andover for just under two years and she has thrived. I could not have asked for more supportive staff to take care of her. They breed positivity and encouraged the children to reach their potential. They treat the children as the individuals they are and work with parents to address any developmental issues and successfully navigate children's milestones. Thank you all for your friendly approachable caring persona's keep up the great work!

Jesse
Jesse Job Title:Nursery Manager

Jesse has been working in the early years sector since 2015 when she began her journey as a bank team member while pursuing her Degree in Early Childhood Studies at Portsmouth University. She completed her Early Years Teacher Status at the same university in 2016, after which she graduated and decided to work full-time in the setting. Over the years, she has taken on many different roles and worked across all age groups and rooms.

Her specialism is in Makaton, and 2020, she began her qualifications in this area, progressing through levels 1-4 and becoming a trainer in Makaton signing for babies and families. She now shares this knowledge through training across the Bright Horizons company and on social media platforms, hoping to inspire others to help children have a voice and be understood by all.

Charlene Job Title:Deputy Manager

Charlene has been with Bright Horizons for 8 years and joined Andover Day nursery in June 2020. Charlene was the previous Deputy Manager at Thatcham.

Jes Job Title:Third in Charge

Jess has been working at Andover Day Nursery since 2018. She started her childcare journey as an apprentice and has since worked her way up to Room Manager, and most recently, Third in Charge. Her specialist age group is toddlers - she loves witnessing their individual characters begin to shine through and their personalities develop.

She is a lover of all things messy play and encourages lots of mess!

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, going on long dog walks with her golden retriever Athena, and spending time with her family and friends.
