Westhill Corner Day Nursery Coventry is a purpose-built setting which offers care and development for children aged between six weeks and five years.

The nursery has undergone a refurbishment and offers a safe and homely environment for all children, while staff provide activities which are rich, varied and imaginative.

Dedicated professionals ensure they meet the individual needs of the children and hold excellent relationships with parents.

As part of the Tommies Childcare family, Westhill Corner has a professional team that prides themselves on creating warm, vibrant and interactive environments which allow children to flourish socially and emotionally.

Minimum sessions for children aged 0-3 years:
Children aged 0-3 years may only book full-day sessions. We do not offer half-day sessions to children aged 0-3 years. The minimum number of sessions for children aged 0-3 years is two full days per week. If you book less than three full days, one of those days must be either a Monday or Friday.

Such lovely staff and so helpful. My daughter has come on so much since being in Westhill. The staff are so easy to get along with and my daughter talks about them at home all the time.

I am really pleased with the staff of the nursery: they engage children in several activities, both indoor and outdoor.
They are all very competent and loving, they are always available to provide us with advice and tips and they keep us informed on progress.
The only negative is about the limited
outside space, but the staff are always able to keep children involved in several activities that include gardening, agility exercises and role plays.

My son has been at Westhill Corner for 4 years and I have seen the nursery go through many improvements such as refurbishment and updating of toys and resources. I like how many educational resources are available in Preschool and I am impressed how attractive the staff have made the small outside space
which is full of educational resources including a mud kitchen. Inside there is a messy room where a group of children can get stuck into the great number of activities provided to aid the children's development. Staff have taken an interest in my son's passions hobbies, and provide fun activities for him. All the staff are friendly and approachable making it easier for me to ask them questions, relay information and voice my concerns. Feedback is given at the end of the day and behaviour issues are communicated and managed well.

My son was really happy at Westhill Corner. He settled in really well with the help of the staff who were really friendly and helpful. They took really good care of him and he made lots of friends. Definitely recommend.

My experience at Westhill Corner Day Nursery has been so positive, especially recently! My daughter had a rocky start here but her keyworker has brought her out of her shell so much and reassured myself also. I definatley would have taken a way out of nursery if not for her keyworker and now with the
addition of another lady in the toddler room I am fully confident in leaving my daughter here and know whe will be well looked after.

My Son has been at the nursery since February. He was reluctant at first as he was used to being with the family every day. The team always calmed him and within 6 weeks he started running in excited and talking lots about the care workers. His skills are coming on, as are his social skills.

so happy he is staying until he starts school.

This was my first time using a nursery and my son has attended since he was 12 months old. He has now been at Westhill Corner for 6 months and has settled in and is thoroughly enjoying it. I was very apprehensive about him going to a nursery, worrying about someone else looking after him, but Westhill
Corner has totally surpassed my expectations. All of the staff are lovely and make you feel very welcome. There have been times recently where my toddler has not wanted to be collected and has headed in the other direction to carry on playing. I am very pleased with my choice of nursery and would recommend Westhill Corner to anyone looking at nurseries.

The staff and facilities at Westhill are amazing. My son had a difficult time at first, setting into Westhill, however, the staff were really good with him and gave me lots of tips on how to overcome this which worked. He loves going now. He has come on really well with numbers, alphabet and shapes.
Westhill staff have also been great with toilet training and we have now accomplished this. Thanks again to all the staff at Westhill.

The staff at Westhill Nursery are all lovely and very helpful. My daughter is very settled and happy at the nursery and I have never had any issues or concerns since my daughter started there in 2016. The nursery is always clean. I would definitely recommend Westhill Nursery to family and friends.

Westhill has had such a positive impact on my son in the short time that he has been there. There were behavioural issues when he first attended but every member of staff has helped in turning that around.
I now feel better equipped to deal with any negative behaviour presented. They also encouraged
me to start toilet training him which I thought would never happen but it seemed to take a couple of weeks and then it was done, so I am grateful that they have been involved in such an important milestone!

My daughter settled into nursery very quickly thanks to the lovely staff. She looks forward to going there and often names the other children and staff. My only criticisms would be the small outdoor space and the fact that the food isn't cooked on the premises.

My daughter started at Westhill Corner Day Nursery & Pre-school last August 2016. I was worried as she was settled at her last nursery but Westhill Corner Day Nursery & Pre-school has been fantastic and she has settled in really well. They give you feedback at the end of the day and will always say

This has been our first nursery experience for our daughter who is 14 months old. We like the nice and positive attitude of the staff and the baby is happy to go to the nursery that is probably evidence of a good time and feeling for her.
I would say that the room available is a bit little but looks
like this is going to be improved soon. I feel to recommend this nursery.

My daughter has recently moved into the pre-school room. Her transition was managed really well and she was not anxious at all. They managed her nap, dietary requirements and other issues beautifully. Everyone has remarked on her improvement in language and social skills.

Thank you for taking the time to discover Westhill Corner Day Nursery. My name is Lucinda Rumble (call me Lou), and I'm the Nursery Manager here. I have more than 20+ years' experience in early education and am a Mum of three myself.


Since earning my childcare qualifications in 1999, I've spent my career creating learning environments where every child feels seen, nurtured, and encouraged. I believe I bring a wealth of leadership to the team here, having spent more than 15 years as a Nursery Manager.


I joined Tommies because our ethos here matches my own. We focus on warm relationships with families, provide thoughtful care for the children entrusted to us, and create purposeful learning opportunities through play that develop confidence and independence.
