Westhill Corner Day Nursery Coventry is a purpose-built setting which offers care and development for children aged between six weeks and five years.

The nursery has undergone a refurbishment and offers a safe and homely environment for all children, while staff provide activities which are rich, varied and imaginative.

Dedicated professionals ensure they meet the individual needs of the children and hold excellent relationships with parents.

As part of the Tommies Childcare family, Westhill Corner has a professional team that prides themselves on creating warm, vibrant and interactive environments which allow children to flourish socially and emotionally.

My daughters have been attending Westhill Corner Day Nursery and Pre-school for six months and we are so pleased with how they have settled. The staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble, the staff in the pre-school room are so friendly and they work so hard at all the activities. Every day
they do something different and work with the children to bring on their skills, especially life skills. I love hearing my little girl, every night, telling me all about her day with a big smile. The staff in the baby room have worked so hard to help my baby settle and they have fantastic sensory and messy play. I would recommend this nursery to anyone. Thanks to everyone for all your hard work.

Our daughter started at the nursery 2 months ago. We have had the most amazing experience right from when we submitted the registration form. The staff team are extremely passionate about their jobs and show how much they truly care about each and every child. The management team are very professional
and are really friendly. Our daughter has really developed in the short time she has been there and gets excited each time we arrive. I would highly recommend this nursery.

I was incredibly nervous about putting my child in a nursery. Walking into Westhill Corner, I got a positive feeling, and we enrolled our child. Our child went into baby room and absolutely loves it, and the practitioners give regular feedback on her progress and activities, which definitely eases my
anxieties. I like the monthly 'catchup' emails on nursery goings-on. But most of all, when my child sees the practitioners in their room, she has the biggest smile and always goes in for a cuddle. Thanks for being a 'home away from home'.

My little girls' confidence grows daily by attending Westhill Corner. At two years old she is always talking about what she’s been doing at nursery, as well as naming all the children she plays with. My daughter is always very happy to attend nursery. She goes two days a week and asks to see members of staff on other days.

This nursery has outstanding staff. Since my son started last year, he has developed and progressed leaps and bounds.
He loves going to nursery and seeing all the staff.

I am really pleased with the staff of the nursery: they engage children in several activities, both indoor and outdoor.
They are all very competent and loving, they are always available to provide us with advice and tips and they keep us informed on progress.
The only negative is about the limited
outside space, but the staff are always able to keep children involved in several activities that include gardening, agility exercises and role plays.

My son has been at Westhill Corner for 4 years and I have seen the nursery go through many improvements such as refurbishment and updating of toys and resources. I like how many educational resources are available in Preschool and I am impressed how attractive the staff have made the small outside space
which is full of educational resources including a mud kitchen. Inside there is a messy room where a group of children can get stuck into the great number of activities provided to aid the children's development. Staff have taken an interest in my son's passions hobbies, and provide fun activities for him. All the staff are friendly and approachable making it easier for me to ask them questions, relay information and voice my concerns. Feedback is given at the end of the day and behaviour issues are communicated and managed well.

My name is Lucinda and I am delighted to be the Nursery Manager here at Westhill Corner Day Nursery.


I have been working with children for more than 23 years and have 3 children of my own; Dylan, James and Millie.


After achieving my qualification in Early Years, all the way back in 1999, I was inspired to further my passion and enthusiasm for watching young children flourish and grow within a nurturing, home-from-home environment which I was part of creating.


I joined Westhill Corner with a wealth of experience, including 14 years as a Nursery Manager. Working with a company which has the same ethos and drive for creating an environment for your children as I do is an exciting adventure for me. I am looking forward to building relationships and working in partnership with you and your children.

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2018

Anais joined Tommies Childcare in 2018 as a Nursery Practitioner. Since then, Anais has worked hard to develop her skillset and worked in various management positions, before recently being promoted to the role of Deputy Manager at Westhill Corner.
